"There were pros and cons. Hotel not in a convenient location for tourists visiting. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Air-conditioner and refrigerator need to be switched off to sleep as they are too noisy. Mould in the bathroom. Service was good though."
"For the price I guess it's alright, if you're looking for something just to sleep and spend the night is not bad.
The place was dirty, old and the breakfast menu was not very extensive since it did not even have eggs.
Though the extremely friendly, heartwarming and welcoming staff compensated for this, they really make you feel comfortable there. "
"This place offers a great location that’s both convenient and easily accessible, surrounded by a friendly and welcoming community. The environment is clean, peaceful, and ideal for relaxing or spending quality time with others, making it a perfect choice for anyone seeking comfort and a pleasant atmosphere."
"The guy at the reception desk was rude. I needed to check in. I waited for a while for him to chitchat with the people in front of me. He clearly saw me but was ignoring me. It’s great that the guy was telling the people where to visit and wanting to write down a list for them. And the people asking 100 questions. But that part could have waited. I finally walked up to the counter. He asked if I had a question rudely. No, I didn’t, I needed to check in and I had somewhere to go. He finally helped me, not friendly at all with me. I did ask about the parking situation, he mentioned street parking or valet parking. I didn’t ask for valet parking but was charged a valet parking fee. (I did get this fixed the next day)"

"Awesome place in a cool location. Staff was very helpful right from the beginning. Maddie is amazing and can answer all your questions if you needed."
"The hostel conditions are average, but indeed there are very limited hostel options in Denver. Location is ok, right on the road, but usually there are not many people on the street at night. The hostel organises some sightseeing activities and has time to participate."
"Booked this hotel on Ctrip for 4 nights, mainly because I think the room size is relatively large, and it is more convenient to cook and eat by yourself. Our family of four has three names written on the order.
On the day of check-in, I swiped the card to pre-authorize the room rate and deposit for 4 nights. The next day I found that my room rate was deducted for two nights. I thought they were charged separately every day. 4 nights room rate.
Then I asked Ctrip to communicate. The hotel said that it only deducted my room rate for 4 nights and did not deduct other costs. I turned it over and over again and again, and it turned out that everyone who checked me in booked a room for everyone ... and said that The other two ordered it on another website. Well, the credit card I booked was new and the information was only used by Ctrip.
Hotel conditions are actually okay, breakfast is good in a hotel in the United States, free parking, the place is more remote, but it does not matter if there is a car. But this management is also bad enough.
Remind those who check in later, the order information booking person must not fill in more, otherwise prepare multiple room rates!"
DDustin PaulThe hotel has an immaculate lobby and friendly staff. The room was clean with typical amenities expected. They have a very large fitness facility with a good selection of equipment. There is no pool or free breakfast, but this hotel met everything I needed. I was very pleased.
FFashion_PotatoI stayed at the Westin the night before my flight because I didn't want to panic about getting to the airport on time. I'd heard Westin is good quality and the location really is so convenient so I splurged. I kind of wish I hadn't. The room was very basic. The shower was nice, but there was nothing about my stay that made me think ”worth every penny!” Especially since they charge for internet.
Good things: the staff are delightful although they definitely seemed understaffed and a bit stressed. The rooms are very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It's AT the airport and so easy to navigate! I asked for some extra water and they brought a lot. The room service food was so good.
Meh things: the carpet made me super glad I brought my own slippers. It didn't seem dirty, but something about carpeted hotel rooms are kind of icky. The coffee cups were all paper and I just felt like I was making a lot of trash when all I wanted was evening tea and morning coffee.
Boo things: not even an hour of free wifi? Just straight up ”pay 18 extra dollars on top of the hundreds for a basic room so you can tell your family you arrived ok and make sure you know where to go at the airport tomorrow.” I don't know, I'm not a business guy but it felt very cheap and petty.
GGuest UserThe transportation is convenient. You can take the Free Mall Ride or other buses nearby to Union Station and then take it to the airport.
There are free drinks in the lobby and many breakfast options.
The bed in the room I stayed in was relatively soft and the air conditioner was a bit loud.
I originally booked a room with a bathtub, but the front desk said it was not available.
It is worth mentioning that when traveling in Denver, don’t miss NBA games (the hotel is about a 5-minute drive from the Ball Arena. Do not bring handbags larger than 4 inches x 6 inches x 1.5 inches. Backpacks are not allowed). You must also visit Red Rock and Amphitheater.
GGuest UserI was stuck in Denver due to a medical emerg to a passenger on my plane. I had 24 hours to kill and the staff made me comfortable and allowed me a 1pm checkout.
Gym machine is really amazing - like a top pro home gym. Hot Tub was meh, but did the job...
I'd stay there again for price it was good.
Front end staff and breakfast staff work very hard and care!!! thanks guys
GGuest UserWhat I like:
(1) Tea/Coffee available 24 hours, breakfast is simple but enough choices, egg, sausages, waffles, bread, oatmeal, juices, coffee, tea fruits
(2) Staff are professional, explain things well.
(3) Furnitures are slightly newer than the other Hampton I stay in.
What can be improved:
(1) I waited at Island 3 (Door 512) from 745pm till 830pm and called twice in order to secure the shuttle service. I saw other hotel shuttles already dropped by 4-5 times in that mins and even saw the other hotels shuttle, like Cambria dropped by within 30 mins. When I got to Hampton, it was already 850pm and also realised that the restaurant next door is closed. I understand that it maybe out of their usual service hour, yet I wonder if they can do a join venture service with other hotel brands so that customers could be picked up earlier.
(2) I was offered the room at the end of the corridor but there are loud water noise coming from the pipes when someone was using the toilet next door or upstairs. Since I was so tired after the longhaul and shorthaul flights and had not been sleeping for 30 hours, I went to sleep at night as usual. However, I am pretty sure that it would bother me when the day I am more sensitive to sound. I did not report it because it was just a short stay.
Overall, I would give a 4 star as the staff attitude (check in, check out and cleaning lady) and their service deserve great respect, standard up to par breakfast and clean room.
AAnonymous UserFantastic place. Went to Denver for a conference. This hotel downtown was very close to the venue. Clean and spacious room. Really nice staff. They also stored my luggage before checking in. Recommended!
YYinzhihuThe front desk staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I arrived after 11 AM and, after showing my Marriott Bonvoy Platinum status, they waived the early check-in fee and even upgraded me to a suite. The room was incredibly spacious with fantastic city views. The only downside was that my room on the second floor faced the street, and there were noisy motorcycles revving on the weekend nights. The nearby train was also quite loud, and it didn't quiet down until midnight.
GGuest UserStaff was very friendly and accommodating. Location was great. Everything we needed was in walking distance for us. Target wasn’t too far, close enough to walk. Right across from the Pavilion Mall. Area didn’t seem bad at all while we were there. We went for a volleyball tournament at the convention center and the walk was about 5 minutes. Super quick. My only complaint was that there is not a microwave in the room. There is a fridge though. Parking was expensive so I used the Spot Hero app and parked in the parking garage right behind the hotel. Literally a 2 minute walk or less. It was under $30 to park Friday through Monday. But read the terms if you decide to do that. You basically can’t go in and out if you park there. It’s just park and leave your car there until your done with your stay and leave. Rooms were clean and the view wasn’t great but decent. No indoor pool but there’s a rooftop pool that’s open seasonally. So not during the cold months. Overall it was a nice stay.
Aaryanjain.ethFantastic Stay at Hostel Fish – Highly Recommended!
I had an amazing experience at Hostel Fish! From the moment I walked in, the vibe was welcoming, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is social yet relaxed, making it the perfect spot for solo travelers or groups looking to meet new people.
The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. I appreciated the thoughtful touches like privacy curtains, lockers, and charging ports by each bed. The common areas, including the bar, were lively and a great place to unwind after exploring Denver. Plus, the location is unbeatable—right in the heart of downtown, within walking distance to great restaurants, bars, and attractions.
Another highlight was the staff-led activities and recommendations—they genuinely want you to have a great time in the city. If you're looking for a hostel with a fun, social, and comfortable stay, Hostel Fish is the place to be!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) – Would absolutely stay again!
