I had pre-booked a comfortable twin room and was pleasantly surprised to get a free upgrade to a premium twin room upon check-in. It felt almost like a family room, which was incredibly spacious for me and my 5-year-old. The breakfast was delicious and offered a great variety, including Linyi's local specialty pancakes and soup. My child absolutely loved the hotel's delivery robot, happily chasing it up and down the floors. The hotel itself was relatively quiet and conveniently located. Plus, there's a fantastic pancake stall nearby!

The service was indeed excellent. Before arriving, I saw various reviews and pictures, which prepared me for the hotel's situation. It's true that in an emerging market, older five-star hotels that don't keep up with the times can face significant challenges. However, the human element of service is dynamic, and as a benchmark in the service/hotel industry, every staff member here left a great impression on me. The concierge asked if I needed a carry bag when storing my luggage; when I told them I didn't need housekeeping the next day and requested a bottle of water, the attendant immediately gave me four. For my two-night stay, I was provided with welcome fruit, and upon checkout, I was even given packed fruit and snacks to take with me. The room's cleanliness and facilities were generally very good. The surrounding environment is perfect for a slow-paced trip. Highly recommended.

The hotel is right in the heart of the old city, directly across from Taishung Plaza. To the south, you'll find Hexie Plaza and Ginza Mall. There are plenty of dining, drinking, and entertainment options nearby. If you're driving, parking in the underground garage is very convenient as it's connected directly to the hotel, making it easy to grab things from your car.

The hotel that was booked the day before the trip, because it has a limited choice, I want to find a one close to Xinyi Scenic Area (walk for 2 minutes, cross the road), the result exceeded my expectations. Parking at the entrance of the hotel is very convenient, the little sister at the front desk is very warm, the breakfast is very cost-effective, and the aunt who prepares breakfast is also very good.
