"Very friendly staff, especially the cleaners and bar staff they were amazing. Really nice views of the ocean, plenty of different places to sit throughout the week, very relaxed area with a few bars around too and nice walks. Food and drinks were really nice and diverse so something for everyone. Very pretty hotel with lots of plants. Rooms were very nice and cleaned very well. A good spot for any group or age, plenty of older and younger people all enjoying it. Amazing overall thank you to all the staff !!!!"

"Fantastic choice! If you’re looking for a cool and calm atmosphere, this hotel is beautifully located and perfect for first time travelers. Although it’s a bit far from the main town, Maspalomas has its own charm, with many fun spots within walking distance. Overall, it’s a lovely hotel in a great location, oh wow! The rooftop bar with the scenic views… I highly recommend hotel faro for tourists and first time visitors. Keep it up!"

"The price is ridiculously inflated; the hotel seems to have spent all its money on the public areas, which are impressive and have a great atmosphere. The rooms are on par with 800 RMB resorts in Southeast Asia. For this price, there are no double sinks, no smart toilets, and while there is a bathtub, there are no bath salts. The pool is beautiful, but there's no water bar or towels available; you have to bring your own. There isn't a single drop of free water in the entire hotel; you even have to pay extra for water at the restaurant's buffet, which is quite shocking. Secondly, regarding hygiene, food wrappers are left uncollected from morning till night in the seemingly beautiful public areas, and there are food wrappers and stains in the sofa crevices in the lobby bar. The breakfast selection is limited and the food is unappetizing, but considering the limited supplies on the island, it's somewhat acceptable."

"Second time staying here and unfortunately wouldn’t stay again. It’s totally overpriced for what it is. Room is beautiful with excellent air conditioning. Location is excellent, right on the beach. But the breakfast has a ridiculously limited choice. For €250+ a night, you should get what you want for breakfast, but their system is you pick ONE only of these five items and then ONE other of these other five items. On this, our second visit, the staff were definitely not as friendly as on our first. We were rarely greeted. We weren’t especially made feel welcome. When we checked out, there was no offer to call us a taxi. All we were asked was whether we had used the minibar and when we said no, the guy who worked there literally RAN down to our room to check. There was no attempt at subtlety on his part. This left a very bad impression. Overall, while the room is beautiful (it’s a room; it’s not a suite), for the breakfast offering and the friendliness/ professionalism of the staff, it’s not worth over €250 a night."
