Grand Hyatt at SFO ★★★★★

📍 55 South McDonnell Rd, Millbrae

"The room was on the smaller side, but its proximity to the airport makes it incredibly convenient, especially for the international terminal. The only drawback was the hotel's lack of business facilities, such as meeting rooms, for guests needing to work. I also thought the TV cabinet looked a bit dated."

The Westin San Francisco Airport ★★★★

📍 1 Old Bayshore Hwy, Millbrae

"At first it was difficult to check in when they asked for a credit card on file in addition of to the already existing booking but the staff eventually came around and was nice. I suggest they make that very clear for international travelers in the future because my booking was non-refundable and I had no American credit card after traveling for 4 days."

Residence Inn San Francisco Airport Millbrae Station
9.1 (73 reviews)

Residence Inn San Francisco Airport Millbrae Station ★★★

📍 161 N Rollins Rd, Millbrae

"The hotel is a 10-minute drive from the airport, approximately 5 kilometers away. North-facing rooms offer direct views of planes taking off and landing across Highway 101, but the excellent soundproofing ensures no noise disturbance. The hotel is situated within a recently developed complex and features a large parking lot at the back. Both the rooms and facilities are brand new, which is quite unusual for a US hotel. The rooms are spacious and equipped with basic kitchenware and a stovetop, making them ideal for families with children who want to prepare simple meals. As the surrounding area is newly developed, there are currently only two fast-food restaurants across the street (one of which is Panda Express, a well-known Chinese fast-food chain in the US). The other units are still for lease, so it will probably take over a year for more amenities to become available. However, in the community directly opposite, there are three to four restaurants, including the famous West Coast burger joint, In-N-Out. The hotel is conveniently located right next to a BART (Bay Area Rapid Transit) station, offering quick and easy access to Silicon Valley and San Francisco. The hotel offers breakfast, which is quite good for a US hotel, featuring options like hard-boiled eggs🥚, scrambled eggs, bread, oatmeal, waffles, yogurt, coffee, and more."

"Excellent location, with direct AirTrain access, making it ideal for early morning flights. The rooms are well soundproofed, so despite being close to the airport, it's very quiet. The bedding is comfortable, and the service is efficient. The breakfast is delicious, especially the fried chicken and waffles. It was a smooth experience and great value for money."

"A great hotel for transfers. Clean, comfortable rooms. The breakfast is a bit more limited than last year, but that's a general trend among hotels. Otherwise, everything is great!"

"The hotel is just across the road from mudflats, perfect for a walk, and you can enjoy fantastic views of planes taking off and landing on the runway on the opposite bank! The only downside was that the room we were initially given was right next to the elevator, and it was noisy practically every minute. After an hour of observing and tolerating the noise, and confirming it wasn't just a temporary issue, I asked the front desk to change our room. It took two checks by staff and an engineer, but we finally got a new room, and it was perfectly quiet."
