Because we arrived early in the morning, we contacted the hotel in advance, and they said they would leave the room card at the front desk. We checked in at the hotel, but we arrived after 3:00 AM and the card didn't work. We called the hotel several times but couldn't get through. Because the hotel is so remote, we couldn't change hotels, which really dampened our mood.
