Mountain View Hotels in Yomitan

"Located in Yomitan, you can take a direct bus from the airport to the hotel, which costs 1700 yen and takes about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Although the hotel is a bit old, it's well-maintained, and every photo you take looks beautiful. There are two churches, one on each side, and the famous Hoshino Coffee Shop is within walking distance. The hotel beach is just okay, but the water is clear. If the weather is good, you can see the ocean stratified like a 'jellyfish' sea, which is stunning. At low tide in the afternoon, you can easily spot sea cucumbers, blue fish, and hermit crabs near the reefs, which is quite interesting (I recommend bringing a pair of beach shoes). For breakfast, there are three restaurants to choose from. I tried the Japanese restaurant and HanaHana. At HanaHana, you can exchange your breakfast for lunch (after scanning a QR code, you can select to swap breakfast for lunch and make a reservation). The lunch buffet is quite good, with many Cantonese dim sum options, and the overall quality is excellent – highly recommended. The Japanese restaurant serves a set meal for breakfast with a small buffet; the overall selection isn't extensive, but it's more about the experience. The hotel service is very good, and the environment is beautiful. You can watch the sunset from the lounge chairs on the hotel beach. You can also take the shuttle to the Grand Mercure, then walk to Hanagasa for dinner or to Cape Zanpa Lighthouse. The Grand Mercure has more swimming pool facilities (the pools at both hotels are shared). Overall, the experience was great, and I recommend it. The only downside is that the area is relatively remote, so it's not very convenient if you don't have a car, but it's not a major issue. You can stay here for a few nights and then move to Kokusai Street for a few more nights."

"We booked this hotel for a family trip and really liked the lovely decor with its many thoughtful touches. The only downside was that we didn't receive the room code on the day of booking. I don't speak any English or Japanese. When booking through TripAdvisor, you can't directly contact hotel management via text message; you can only use internet phone, and importantly, I don't speak any foreign languages! Contacting through third-party messaging took a very long time to get a reply. After a long back-and-forth, we finally received the Line ID and knew the room code. But we really liked this hotel and would definitely stay here again."

"My stay in Okinawa was very enjoyable! I chose this place because it was close to the dive shop. Although it rained for a few days, the location was remote and public transportation was inconvenient, it didn’t affect my journey. The hotel is fully equipped, the environment is clean, the overall feeling of home, next to the beach, the price is very high. I chose the sea view room, if the weather is good, I will definitely see a good view. The boss's opening at the vegetarian cafe next to it is not long, other restaurants and convenience stores need to walk to the Readguchi Bus Terminal, but I have a great time relaxing here. The area is safe and girls traveling alone can feel at ease. I am very satisfied with this stay and have the opportunity to come back later."
