Lknz Lodge & Cafe ★★★
"Stayed here one night in a twin room. The beds were comfortable and the room was small/cosy but clean. Staff were very friendly. A nice wee stay before heading north."
Powderhorn Chateau ★★★★
"We liked the the indoor pool but did not expect that the 3 bedroom chalet would be a drive away and separate from the hotel which made it inconvenient."
Snowman Lodge and Spa ★★★
"Love the location. Close to park nearby."
The Hobbit Motorlodge ★★★
"It is the ultra accommodating service that makes this place stand out. It turned out that I’d booked the wrong kind of room for my needs, and there was a very quick, willing solution found at no extra cost. I would stay again because I know I’d be well looked after."
Snowhaven ★★★
"Nice place and easy to find, will come again, the stuff was good even we arrived late. The pressure of hot water was a little bit low."
The Peaks Motor Inn ★★★
"Excellent place to stay. Very comfortable soft beds and a walking distance to different types of food places and cafes. Would really recommend Rice Bar & Food for dinner and their drinks."
Ruapehu Mountain Motel & Lodge ★★★
"I have stayed twice in two different types of rooms, one self-contained and one with shared kitchen facilities. Both rooms very clean and tidy, with a large and we'll equipped shared kitchen. Staff were lovely and location was very close to our event headquarters. Definitely plan to be back next year."
Skotel Alpine Resort ★★★
"Our room had a private bathroom, but there was a smell coming from the drains and the furnishings were quite dated. However, the price was reasonable at about $100 per night for two people. The common areas were decent. The restaurant food was good (around $40-$60 per person). The staff were consistently very friendly. You can start hikes directly from the accommodation. The scenery is beautiful."
Ruapehu Country Lodge ★★★★
"Comfortable, easy and super helpful. Stay here, not only for its great central location, but for the place itself, wonderful. Small enough to be personal, accommodating and make everything easy. A before dawn cooked breakfast, no problem. Helpful local in-site. The hosts are wonderful."
