"A very clean hotel with breakfast included. The front desk staff were always incredibly welcoming. It's conveniently located, just a 10-minute walk to major attractions and a 15-minute walk from the train station. Given that hotels in Southern Italy can be quite expensive, this place offers excellent value for money. While the facilities are a bit basic, it's very clean and tidy. Booking through Ctrip was also very convenient. Definitely recommended!"

"A Hidden Gem Near Florence’s Main train station
I stayed three consecutive nights at this charming little hotel, just a short walk (5 mins) from the main train station in Florence. Its location made it incredibly easy to take day trips to nearby cities—perfect for exploring Tuscany without the hassle.
The staff were consistently friendly, and helpful, which made the stay even more pleasant. While the room wasn’t very spacious, the bed was exceptionally comfortable—ideal after long days of sightseeing.
There’s also a private spa area that was clean and relaxing, with a surprisingly strong jacuzzi. A nice touch that added to the overall experience."

"Perfect location between the train station and sight seeing objects. The nuns were very helpful and informative, they allowed us to wait in the lounge after check-out since we were unwell and couldn’t go out (out train was for another 4 hours).
There were common pantry that we utilize to cook hot water, it was very helpful during the cold winter.
The room itself was very spacious and easily fitted 2 large luggages.
The bed was very hard and difficult to sleep on it, so we added a couple layer of thick blanket as cushion.
The room was heated with split A/C but still very cold in the bathroom."

"firstly, I realized that the room smelled very bad like someone definitely smorked in it even it is non-smorking room.
So, I asked the staff that I can change the room, but that day were fully booked so that I can’t.
She also said, next day has a vacant so I can change the room, but finally I couldn't because of the staffs miss communication.
Also I asked laundly service but when I came back to the hotel, it is not completed because the staff forgot Sunday is out of service.
in the first place, the laundry service cost is too expensive so I dont recommend."

"This is a 4-star hotel. The location is absolutely perfect.
1. It's directly across from the Firenze S.M. train station, literally just a crosswalk away, which is incredibly convenient.
2. You can walk to the Duomo in just 12 minutes, and the route is lined with shops where you can buy and eat things.
Be aware that because it's near the train station square, there are quite a few homeless people around.
Service: The staff member who checked us in was very friendly and personable.
Facilities: The bathroom was very clean, and all the amenities were complete and worked well.
Great value for money: We were very pleasantly surprised to find that our room had a balcony with a view (as pictured). The balcony was also quite large, with a coffee table and two rattan chairs.
This hotel made our stay in Florence even more comfortable and enjoyable.

Nice room, but hidden fees and disappointing location
The room itself was beautiful — clean, stylishly decorated, and comfortable for a solo traveller, even if it was a little smaller than expected. So credit where it’s due: the physical space was lovely.
Unfortunately, a few things really affected my stay. I was asked for a €50 per night deposit upon check-in, which came as a complete surprise. This was not mentioned anywhere when I booked, and it hit hard as a solo traveller on a tight budget. I lost €100 before I even saw the city, and it honestly dampened the whole experience.
The staff at check-in were cold and not welcoming at all, which made the arrival feel awkward. Thankfully, check-out was much better — the person on the desk was kind and friendly, which helped leave things on a slightly better note.
As for location: it’s not ideal. The hotel is tucked behind the main train station down some pretty dirty, sketchy-feeling streets. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the Duomo, and for the price I paid, I expected to be much closer to the centre.
Overall, the hotel itself is fine — but in the wrong location and definitely the wrong price bracket. Unless the prices come down and they’re more transparent about deposits, I wouldn’t stay here again."

"This hotel is very old-fashioned, traditional, and historic, perfectly matching the style of Florence. It has been renovated while retaining its original charm, so it doesn't feel too outdated. Located in the old town, it's close to everything. The weather was too hot during our stay, so we'd explore for a bit each morning and then return to the hotel to rest, heading back out around 4 or 5 PM, which was very convenient. The hotel restaurant is incredibly popular; you need to book in advance if you want dinner. We tried to book as soon as we arrived, but it was fully booked for three consecutive days, which was a slight disappointment. Everything else was great, and the room was spacious enough for three people. The breakfast room offers stunning views, including a glimpse of the Duomo's dome."

"This hotel is very clean and new. Staffs was so kind and helpful too. On the second day of our stay, we had a problem with the hot shower in both of our rooms and only managed to get the problem fixed at night. Due to that, they compensated us free breakfast as a service recovery for my family the next day. We enjoyed our stay in this boutique hotel. However the parking in this hotel is so limited that we almost didn’t get parked our car in the hotel. We weee told that if no parking spaces available, we had to find a blue lot to park outside the hotel area. So far we were lucky enough to get the parking lot inside the hotel."

The hotel room is small size double, we had a room with a pool view and a balcony, very clean, bed linen are change evry day, pool is small, but we were lucky to find sunlounges when we need it, but most of the time the pool area was full.
Breakfast îs very very good, plenty choices, quality food, fresh juices, even ice cream... 🙂
The only thing we prefered was a shower instead of bath and perhaps the bath panel bath longer lenght as the bath become a pool, the panel does not hold the water spray
We love our stay with this place, and book again

HHONGSHENGI rarely write reviews, but I simply *had* to this time! After checking out, I discovered my car wouldn't start – I'd foolishly left something on and completely drained the battery. Within just 5 minutes, the amazing ladies at the front desk found the incredibly resourceful Alessio for me. He first brought a battery charger, but when he realized it couldn't reach, he immediately drove another car over to use its battery to jump-start mine. The entire process was completed within 10 minutes, and it was absolutely free! So, a huge shout-out to [Hotel Name] for such outstanding service, big thanks to the front desk team (both the ladies and gentlemen), and a special, massive thank you to Alessio!

MMarcos 305Villa Tortorelli is a charming mix between a bed-and-breakfast and a hotel. My experience here was mostly positive, and while there were a few minor issues, I could tell that the staff genuinely does their best to run the villa as smoothly as possible.
Check-in & First Impressions
The first thing to note is that the villa is designed to work with automated check-in processes, which is great for most travelers. However, it could be better explained to future guests to avoid any confusion. Not everyone will have a working phone or data plan when they arrive in Italy, and it’s important for the villa to have a backup plan in case guests are unable to connect.
One simple suggestion would be to provide Wi-Fi access at the entrance of the villa and share the network name and password with guests before their arrival. This would make it easier for everyone to access the automated system without any issues.
Room & Comfort
I stayed in the Deluxe Suite, located on the first floor of a three-story villa, right next to the breakfast room. At first, I was concerned about noise, but the thick, heavy door completely blocked any sounds from the breakfast area. I never heard a thing in the morning.
The room has blackout curtains that provide great privacy and darkness, which I really appreciated. The bathroom was newly renovated with luxury finishes, including stone walls that give it a high-end feel. The room was clean, and the daily housekeeping service kept everything spotless, with fresh towels replaced daily.
One of the standout features of Villa Tortorelli is Karen, the person in charge of breakfast service and housekeeping. She is incredibly attentive and hardworking. She ensures that guests are well taken care of, and the breakfast is always well-prepared and served hot. Honestly, if they lose Karen, the villa would lose two stars in reviews. She is one of their greatest assets.
Breakfast Experience
The breakfast service was excellent. The food is prepared fresh every morning, and Karen makes sure there is always a variety of hot and cold options available. The breakfast room is cozy and inviting, with plenty of choices to start your day off right.
The Villa’s Atmosphere & Location
The villa is peaceful and surrounded by greenery, making it a relaxing place to stay. It’s also within walking distance of all the major tourist attractions in Florence, which makes it very convenient for exploring the city.
One Minor Issue
The only negative point during my stay was that the room felt quite cold when I first arrived. However, I reached out to the WhatsApp help service, and the heating system was adjusted quickly. Within a short time, the room felt much warmer and more comfortable.
Final Thoughts
Overall, Villa Tortorelli is a great option for those looking for a peaceful, well-located stay in Florence. The automated check-in system could use some improvement to avoid any potential issues for guests without a data plan, but aside from that, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is excellent, and the staff is very attentive.
Would I stay here again? Yes, especially for Karen’s service and the peaceful villa atmosphere!

MM298467****Stayed a few nights in Florence. Booked a family room which was very spacious, equipped with kitchen facilities and a dining table. It had a large bed and a sofa bed. There's a tram near the hotel that goes to the train station. The room was clean and tidy. Overall, I was quite satisfied. You can also take day trips by train to the Leaning Tower of Pisa and Cinque Terre from here.

GGuest UserThe room was a bit dated, and the furniture quite basic. On the plus side, it's very close to the train station, and within walking distance of the art gallery, cathedral, and good spots to watch the sunset. What's even better, it's right at the entrance of Chinatown, making it incredibly convenient for enjoying Chinese food and browsing the Chinese supermarket. I even found the best-tasting water I've ever had on a trip at the Chinese supermarket – I was so happy about that! However, watch out for that ice cream shop on the same street – it's a total rip-off!

GGuest UserIt's in a great location, 7 minutes from the station and 10 minutes from the Ufutzii Museum, but it was hard to find because there was no hotel sign! I was standing 10 meters away, but I couldn't find it even after walking back and forth, so I asked a nearby hotel staff member, who pointed to a small door and said, ”It's right there.” I pressed the intercom, had it opened, went up to the third floor, and finally checked in. The room was cute, and when I told them I was leaving early in the morning, they were flexible and said, ”I can make breakfast at the breakfast shop and have it delivered the day before.” There was a shower, a refrigerator, and bottled water for the bed. If you leave the room and go up one level, there is a shared terrace with a view of the roofs of the ancient city. If the check-in goes smoothly, it's a great place to stay.

AAlexandraSHotel overall is okay for a 3 star. Employees were always friendly. Free parking and if full, hotel as a old garage underneath which it was where we parked. Breakfast was okay also for a 3 star hotel.
Amenities nothing to be honest, on our room we had some stuff broken also… could get some refurbishment. And also, it is not a queen bed, it was two single beds close to each other… with no top mattress anything…
