"I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The location is perfect, just a short walk from the subway station, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The surrounding area is vibrant and full of life, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The hotel itself is exceptionally clean and well-maintained. My room was spotless, and the housekeeping staff did an excellent job throughout my stay. The amenities were top-notch, and I appreciated the attention to detail in the design and comfort of the space. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a great location. I will definitely return on my next visit!"

"Advantages: spacious and tastefully furnished. 1.8 The rice bed is very comfortable. Disadvantages: No air conditioning is a bit stuffy, the door is 10 stairs, and will not take the initiative to help you carry your luggage. I moved up by myself."

"We had a lovely stay here for a wedding 15 minutes drive away. The staff were very helpful and accommodating at all times. The only comment I would like to raise is that we were given room 9 which was described as an accessible room (which we didn’t need) but it was completely inappropriate as accessible as the shower ( which was in the bath) would have been completely unsuitable for a wheelchair user, or someone else with difficulty moving who wouldn’t have been able to climb into the bath to use it. Breakfast was excellent."

"Very good in terms of location, A nice little walk to the centre but far enough out that you don’t really get the noise of the late night drinkers (sat/friday). The room was a decent size for what we paid, nice shower and bathroom small but good for the money we paid. However, the room was really really hot. We had to sleep with both windows open, AC didn’t work at all. The TV has all the normal channels and it worked perfectly. The coffee machine area downstairs was helpful however they didnt give us any cups, put any available out for people to grab or tell us that they even had any. No tea bags or little things of milk which would have been helpful. The machine does make tea however we both werent sure how useful/good it would have been. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a cheap stay in reading."

"The location is very good. It's just a few steps from the train station. The room is not small. The hygiene is also good. The location of the room depends on luck or communicate in advance to request a room close to the elevator. If you have a lot of luggage"

"Wasn't impressed to receive text whilst abroad to say if we checked in late our room could be let. We were flying back and couldn't guarantee getting there at 3 pm. Had to get family member to call to explain. There are 2 Travelodges, one each side of the motorway. We booked the westbound one. Both have the same postcode. Our satnav only recognised Eastbound side. Result was they couldn't find our reservation. Apparently this happens a lot. Staff redirected us so only a few minutes and a few miles delay. Our arrival delayed by difficulty at Heathrow,ie Terminal change and over an hour and a half hours delay before passengers could access luggage reclaim. Staff shortages. Arrived at nearly midnight. Only Costa open at services. However, staff at hotel helpful. Situation good and quiet despite proximity to M4. We were very pleasantly surprised. Room clean and plenty of space, bed comfortable, coffee-making facility welcome. Bathroom fine and water hot. Slept really well and plenty of choice for breakfast with services placed only a few yards away but not causing any noise problem at the hotel. Enjoyable stay. Pity about postcode confusion Maybe explanation to take westbound services turnoff given on website when booking would avoid confusion and save people being taken to the eastbound site. We were worried when satnav told us to pass westbound services but assumed hotel was approached by another turnoff shortly after. It would have made our arrival far less fraught to have been aware of the fact there were Travelodges BOTH sides of motorway. The hotel itself was good and gave us a comfortable night."

"Very nice hotel, they have games like ping pong and darts in the reception area to play for free and a nice bar. Rooms are very spacious! When we checked in they stated 24 hour bar and reception desk but when I went down at around 3am I didn’t see a worker. But I would come back here again!"

"Hilton Reading will be convenient if you are driving, the room is clean. Receptionists are helpful, nice and professional. Breakfast is also friendly to vegetarian 😋"

"Location- was walkable from station, town centre, Oracle shopping centre which has Vue and Bowling Service- Staff were very friendly. Toni, Nicola, Daniel- were fab. They helped me store my special medication. They have facility for keeping luggage after checkout which was very helpful Amenities- Swimming pool, steam, sauna, gym onsite with full access with room booking. Towels available at no extra cost at the facilities. The showers were broken/ no hot water. So we used room showers for bath after using the these services. Room- was beautiful and clean with lovely large screen smart tele. There was a locker and small mini fridge in the room with tea/coffe bar, iron with iron board, hair dryer. They also provide tap water from front desk for tea etc. There was a bath and shower both! The toilet and bath did not have locks- but I was in with my kids- so worked fine. One bedside light switch was broken- but didn’t need to use this. The room temp was rather warm- front seat kindly lent us a big table fan- which was very helpful. They have bar and restaurant- we didn’t need to use these. The"
