"Arrived to be told room isnt ready yet. No issue so we went to the hotel bar for drink. Over an hour had passed and had purchased 5 drinks by then as temperature was around 35 degrees. As nobody had told us anything we returned to the reception to be told theres an issue with the air conditioning so theres no room for us. They said a transfer is on the way to take us to their 5 star sister hotel over an hours walk away in a different resort. They said its all inclusive. After a quick Google search it wasnt 5 star but 4. The hotel has nothing around it just the hotel - not our type of holiday. We booked Tsilivi as its a busy, lively resort with lots of local restaurants and bars. We dont do all inclusive as we like to explore the resort. We politely declined and contacted Easyjet Holidays for assistance. We were left in the resort for over 5hrs and nobody was getting back to us. In the end we had no choice but to arrange our own accommodation for the week - almost doubling the cost of our holiday. Easyjet were useless. This hotel then showed their true colours. On arrival they checked us in and took out €70 for the room tax. After they couldnt provide us a room we requested our room tax back and they said they need an email from Easyjet first. The next day Easyjet emailed us saying they have contacted the hotel and if we return they will refund the room tax. We returned for the receptionist to ask us to take a seat and wait. We sat, we waited, and waited, and waited. Once again we were ignored so on returning to reception we were told they wont be refunding as Easyjets email wasnt in the correct format! The receptionist became quite rude and dismissive despite the fact we remained calm and polite. We are a same sex couple and she was constantly sniggering and giving dirty looks. Our sexuality was obviously a problem for her. We left as we felt conned and uncomfortable. Tsilivi is a fantastic resort and we will return but sadly the Planos Beach Hotel has given us our first bad experience so we would never choose to stay with these liars and theives again."

"We absolutely loved our stay here! I stayed here with my mother and sister, we had the room with the private pool and I couldn’t recommend this more. This was perfect for 3 people, the room was clean and well maintained daily by the pleasant staff. The service from the ladies at the reception desk was some of the best service I have ever received. Every single question (we hassled them with so many questions) was met with a very helpful answer, we felt very confident with their recommendations. Every interaction felt authentic, genuine and personal. The location was great, many options for food, drinks and shopping within walking distance. The local beach is also within walking distance. We look forward to coming back in the future!!"
