📍 Tophane, Şht. Ömer Halisdemir Cd. No: 4, Rize

"The first thing that impressed me about the Rize accommodation was the elevator that could only accommodate one person. Since it is a hotel located in the city center, it is convenient to get around anywhere, and the staff were very friendly. I forgot to ask why the 8th floor is called the “R” floor. The air conditioner in the room I first entered was broken, so I asked to change rooms. They accepted and I was able to move to a different room. The facilities are old, but in other ways, it is worth recommending. I really wish the Turkish room was strictly non-smoking. It would be a bit difficult for non-smokers."

"It's beautiful and everything is close to it, but the parking is a drawback. But everyone at the reception wants to help you and find a parking spot for you by any means."

"A good clean small hotel. The room is a teapot, a refrigerator, a air conditioner, a table, two chairs, a chair. Breakfasts are good. If there are more fruits and hot for choice - at all excellent. Nearby are shops, restaurants and a park on the embankment. But, the windows of the rooms go out on a noisy street where cars are constantly driving. Another minus: the old air conditioner. It also noises loudly."

Keles Hotel ★★★
"Right in the centre – close to everything: food, shops, mosques. Free parking is available, but be warned: the hotel is on a busy, narrow one‑way street, so parking just to check in was a challenge. (I came back later in the evening instead.) Lovely touch: complimentary tea and cookies in the lobby. The lift is tiny – one person + one suitcase at a time – which can mean long waits, especially during morning checkout rush. Great location, just bring patience for the lift and parking."
