Extremely close to the beach, literally step out the door and you're there. Going during the off-season was such a great deal. There's a big windmill on the main gate, which my daughter absolutely adored. I requested a bed rail in advance, and it was thoughtfully placed in our room upon arrival. The front desk staff were very considerate. Laundry facilities were convenient too. It's about 50 meters from the beach, and we weren't disturbed by any noise from the beach in the mornings. There were lots of small stones on the beach, and my daughter collected many. Not far from the hotel, there's also a small bar, so enjoying a drink with the sea breeze at night was very pleasant. Our room had a small courtyard in front, which was lovely for photos and had a beautiful island vibe. While brushing my teeth, I noticed the hotel even provided a children's toothbrush! It's understandable that there would be humidity and bugs being so close to the sea, and the mosquito repellent provided in the room was very effective. The full wall-to-ceiling window had curtains that were incredibly blackout. My sister accidentally stained the bedsheets, and they didn't charge us for cleaning. They have standards but aren't overly strict, which made for a really great experience. When we checked out, they even gave us some Rizhao specialty tea as a gift, which left us with an excellent impression.

The room was clean and tidy, with good lighting and complete facilities. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and I slept very well. The service is warm and thoughtful, the front desk responds promptly, the environment is in place, the overall experience is great, the price is very high, and the next stay will be preferred!

Before school started, I took my child to the beach to dig in the sand. I was choosing between this hotel and the one next door for a long time, and finally decided on this one. I think the breakfast was quite good, and they even updated it daily. My family of three always ate until we were full. The cleanliness was also great; I didn't encounter any of the issues mentioned in previous reviews. My child especially loved the smart speaker in the room. Just cross the road and the parking lot, and you're at Gate 5, where the sand is super fine. If you want to go clamming, you can walk another 10-15 minutes to the left.

I chose this place because I loved the idea of staying right on the beach, which felt quite unique. The room wasn't huge, but the experience was fantastic. It even had floor heating, so I slept incredibly well. The facilities were excellent and comprehensive, and it was very quiet. Even the electric bed was great. It felt more spacious than I expected. In the morning, seagulls were waiting right on the beach, and they'd come right up if you waved. My kids had a blast running around the room until noon. I'd definitely go back for a peaceful few days if I get the chance. Oh, and the breakfast was good too, they even had shrimp!

Booked a standard double room for a family of three, and upon arrival, the front desk staff upgraded us to an executive double room. The beds were reconfigured to one large and one small, which was perfect as my child and wife could sleep together comfortably without feeling cramped. It was incredibly thoughtful! The hotel itself was very quiet, and downstairs there were all sorts of restaurants, seafood, and BBQ places. Right outside the hotel, you could rent electric scooters, which was super convenient. The hotel's location is great; you just cross the road and a small wooded area to reach the beach. The hotel's cleanliness was decent, but the smart toilet's flush was incredibly loud. I didn't even dare sit on the toilet at night for fear of it automatically flushing, as the sound, especially in a quiet room, was like a jackhammer. The mini-fridge in the room was useless; it didn't cool at all. Only rooms on the 3rd floor and above have balconies. The foldable drying rack on the balcony was a thoughtful touch, but it would have been even better if there was a chair. It would also be great if there were two chairs in the room itself; with a double room having only one, one person has to stand while the other sits during meals, which isn't very practical. Finally, something unforgivable was that during our stay, the apartment building opposite was undergoing demolition and renovation. The drilling noise was simply unbearable, making it impossible to rest in the afternoon due to the extreme loudness.

This hotel is indeed great, considered one of Rizhao's established luxury hotels. Although it's a bit old, the facilities are very well-maintained, and it doesn't feel dated at all. There's a swimming pool and gym on the basement level; the pool is a bit small, but it should be sufficient if it weren't for the many children during tourist season. The buffet on the first floor is 138 per person for guests, which is a good price, and the quality is reasonable. There's a sky garden on the 9th floor, but it's not usually open. It would be even better if it could be opened for hotel guests in the morning to watch the sunrise.

I haven't felt the urge to write a long, positive review in a long time, but this hotel deserves high praise. Before coming to Rizhao, I looked at many hotels, researching all the seaside hotels, and finally chose Ocean Aesthetics because my child wanted the hotel to be as close to the sea as possible. Before coming, I was a little worried, as some online reviews pointed out some problems, but my experience was completely different from those negative reviews. The butler, Xiao Yue, contacted me in advance to inform me of some matters, and he resolved any issues immediately during the stay. He also proactively checked on me, so a big thumbs up! 👍 The room was clean and spacious, the courtyard was beautiful, and the stay was very comfortable. The hotel's pool restaurant was also very good. Outside the hotel, along the coastline, you can watch the tides and catch small crabs, which my child had a blast at, saying it was the best hotel of the trip. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I come to Rizhao; it's a truly relaxing vacation.
