"This 168-square-meter apartment with 3 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, 3 bathrooms, and 1 kitchen easily accommodates 5 people. The sea view from the room is unbeatable, and the location is prime, within a 15-minute walk to MIXC Mall or May Fourth Square. That's probably why the price is a bit high. The hotel is quite old, so the facilities are a bit dated. If you're not overly particular about modern amenities, it's still highly recommended."

"Our stay at Qingdao Haitian Hotel was a fantastic experience! The hotel's location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient for sightseeing and getting around. Being so close to the beach was a huge plus, especially for taking our child to play in the sand. What truly stood out was the service. Hotel Manager and Butler Golden were incredibly warm and thoughtful in their hospitality. They responded to our messages promptly and had such a humble attitude. Any requests we had were handled immediately, making us feel right at home. Fresh fruit was delivered to our room daily – the attention to detail was impeccable. Overall, our stay was wonderful. We'll definitely choose this hotel again when we visit Qingdao next time. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel has its own beach and infinity pool, which is convenient for children to play in the water and change clothes. The day before check-in, the housekeeper Wanwan contacted me to confirm my itinerary and needs. Her service was warm and patient. Our room was arranged on the 10th floor of Building 2, not far from the lobby elevator, and the balcony had an excellent view. Thanks to Wanwan. The Lalu's spatial design is very open, echoing the vast sea. The room is large, and the balcony is long, making for a very comfortable stay. Although there are some signs of age, the room is very clean and odor-free, which shows that a lot of effort goes into maintaining it. The controls for lights, curtains, and air conditioning are conveniently located in three places: on the desk and on both sides of the bed. The towel rail has a heating function, and holding a warm towel instantly lifts your mood. Including bathrobes, the room is equipped with 16 hangers, which is incredibly friendly for families with young children who play in the water. Coupled with the large balcony, there's ample space to dry all your clothes. The hotel's showerhead, though simple, has clear directions for switching between handheld and overhead, so there's no guessing or fumbling. The disposable slippers have thick, soft soles, feeling like you're walking on clouds. The entire room feels understated and solid, not trying to show off, but simply providing guests with a simple, peaceful, comfortable, and leisurely stay. In the evening, there are bonfires and a BBQ on the beach, where you can enjoy meat and dance while watching children search for shellfish. During my stay, I tried the dinner buffet at ”Eleven Kitchen.” If you don't want to leave the hotel, this is a good option, with a rich variety and good taste. The hotel's color scheme is rich and deep, and the decorative choices are unique, yet the extensive use of transparent glass design keeps all areas of the hotel bright and inviting, not intimidating. The elevator does make a noticeable sound when arriving at a floor, which is a bit unusual, but it aligns with the overall understated style of the hotel, so it's not alarming. Some online reviews are simply exaggerated. The Lalu Qingdao is an excellent hotel and well worth experiencing."

"This trip with my parents was planned to avoid the summer peak, hoping they would have a comfortable, convenient, and pleasant experience. I chose The St. Regis for their service philosophy, and despite some negative reviews on Xiaohongshu that made me nervous, this stay completely exceeded my expectations! I must express my sincere gratitude to our butler, Talia, for her attentive care. **Location:** The St. Regis boasts prime sea views, so the scenery is, naturally, unparalleled. In the Olympic Sailing Center room type, you can watch the sunrise from your room in the morning and admire the lights at night. A short walk across the road leads to the beach, and it's within walking distance of the Third Bathing Beach, Taipingjiao Park, and Badaguan Scenic Area. The surrounding area is also bustling with commercial centers; MixC, Haitian Mall, and Hisense Plaza are all nearby. Behind the hotel, there's a residential area with many restaurants along Yan'an 3rd Road, offering plenty of dining options. The transportation is convenient, making it easy to get anywhere. **Environment and Facilities:** The hotel's public areas are very clean, though I wasn't particularly fond of the scent. Our room was also very clean; in the room I stayed in, the carpets, sofa, and other fabric surfaces were spotless, and the bathroom hygiene was up to standard. The room wasn't damp and had no strange odors. The air conditioning worked well and was very quiet, plus the TV allowed screen mirroring! The bedding was comfortable, and the pillow exchange was also excellent. **Breakfast:** We had breakfast at the hotel for three consecutive days. The overall taste was good, and there was a decent variety, with many Chinese dishes made fresh. Although the overall selection didn't change much over the three days, some dishes were rotated. We had breakfast between 7:00 and 8:30 AM each day, and the crowd was manageable, not overly crowded. The 'dried bread' at breakfast, paired with cream cheese and butter, was surprisingly delicious, haha. **Service:** First, the hotel contacted me two days in advance to add the butler, Talia, on WeChat. Talia was incredibly meticulous, staying in touch with me from before check-in to discuss room details. After we checked in, she proactively contacted us daily to ask about our needs during our stay, such as whether we were satisfied with the room, if we wanted a bubble bath, or if we needed any drinks. These small touches of care made us feel very warm and looked after. Overall, I would still recommend The St. Regis, and I would choose it again if I visit Qingdao in the future."

"My experience at the Shangri-La Hotel was excellent. Both the service and cleanliness were top-notch. A special thank you to our butler, Nina, for her exceptional service! We had booked a Horizon Club room, but upon arrival, we were initially directed to the Qingxiang Pavilion. Nina proactively added us on WeChat and personally escorted us to the Horizon Club for check-in. Learning that we were traveling by car, she took the initiative to register our license plate, telling us to relax in our room first and informing us that parking would be free during our stay. This made entering and exiting the parking garage very convenient, saving us a lot of hassle. During our stay, Nina would ask for our preferred time daily to deliver fresh fruit to our room. She also thoughtfully provided special Qingdao local beverages, which I absolutely loved. This really allowed us to experience the rich local culture of Qingdao, greatly enhancing our trip. When the hotel conducted a voltage check, Nina promptly messaged us to remind us and assured us there was nothing to worry about, showing incredible foresight. When we checked out, we had a lot of luggage. After I explained the situation to Nina, she immediately arranged for a bellhop to help us bring our bags downstairs. She anticipated every need throughout our stay, making the entire check-in process incredibly smooth. The service was warm and attentive. I truly love the Shangri-La Hotel in Qingdao; it's a benchmark in the industry!"

"We came as a group of several families, and the rooms were absolutely fantastic! They are situated right across from the sea, and when the tide comes in, lying in bed feels like you're floating directly in the ocean. The two twin rooms are located upstairs, while the two double rooms are downstairs. The downstairs rooms feature sliding doors that open onto a terrace, providing direct access to the sea. They are also equipped with large windows, some of which function as doors, whereas the two upstairs rooms come with expansive windows. The next day, after the tide came in, we went sea foraging. The guesthouse thoughtfully provided buckets and tools, and we managed to find small snails and limpets, ending up with a bountiful harvest!"

"We really enjoy the hotel service and environment. The room function is very good, nice and well clean. Water supply power is very good and not too hot to handle. The hotel also provide a nice welcome and goodbye gift set. We really enjoy the breakfast wigh variety of food and good flavor. One of the very best breakfast we had experience from travelling abroad. Welcome back fruit after the dinner also refreshing and made us delightful after long walking and tiring day."

"This rating isn't compared to ordinary hotels costing a few hundred yuan, but rather against the standard of a five-star hotel, costing over 1600 yuan per night. Pros: There's an outdoor pool and an indoor pool. The indoor pool has one large pool and two smaller ones, one of which has slightly warmer water, perfect for those sensitive to cold. The room is spacious enough and includes a bathtub. Great for kids to play in the water. Cons: 1. Late check-in, 12 PM check-out, 3 PM check-in. So, are we supposed to wander around for three hours? I arrived at the hotel at 2 PM, but still couldn't check in, and had to wait until past 3 PM. The hotel claimed it was fully booked and the staff couldn't keep up with cleaning. Isn't that the hotel's problem then? It's peak season, but I paid full price, even double, for this kind of service? There were others sitting in the lobby for over two hours, unable to check in, having to wait until after 3 PM! 2. Dirty. The staff clearly didn't clean properly. There was at least a month's worth of dust accumulated behind the door. 3. The outdoor pool is small and has no trees nearby, so it's very sunny. The outdoor pool is also open to the public, meaning guests from the nearby Qingdao Impression Hotel and homestays can use this hotel's outdoor pool, albeit for a fee. This makes the already small pool crowded. They also rent out swim rings and kickboards. Even hotel guests have to rent swim rings for 20 yuan per use. 4. For such a large five-star hotel, the facilities are dilapidated. The pool steps and bottom have many broken tiles, which could easily cut your feet if you're barefoot. And they charge for this! 5. Breakfast queue. Breakfast is until 10 AM. I went after 9 AM and encountered such a long queue, and it was hard to find a seat. The queue was mainly because staff were registering people at the entrance. 6. For a hotel costing almost 1700 yuan a night, there's no laundry room! It's worse than chain hotels costing four or five hundred. You can't wash your clothes; you either handwash them yourself or pay the staff for laundry service."
