A great hotel for a decent price. UrCove by HYATT hotels are always quite nice and clean for even a couple of nights stay. The location of this one is also great, being right next to one of the biggest mall complexes I experienced and a great metro connection to the most famous spots in the city (although you probably have to cut through the mall or go around it to get to the metro entrance).

I came to Shanghai for business this time, and the most pleasant surprise was choosing the right hotel! 😊 The room was clean and comfortable, the bedding was just right – not too soft, not too hard – and the soundproofing was excellent. Even though I usually have trouble sleeping in new places, I slept soundly all night. From the window, I could see the old Shanghai streetscape, which was especially charming in the evening. I particularly want to commend the front desk staff (the young lady/gentleman). Their attitude was super nice! Seeing I was traveling alone, they proactively recommended some delicious local noodle shops nearby and even advised me on transportation routes. It was really heartwarming~ 💛 The value for money is outstanding. For this location, this service, and this level of cleanliness, I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Shanghai and will recommend it to my friends! All in all, a five-star recommendation, you can't go wrong with this choice! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I chose this hotel because of its convenient location in the Wujiaochang commercial district, making it easy to check in after shopping, and also for its ample parking. Despite being a 10-year-old hotel, the cleanliness is still well-maintained. The executive lounge offers a great view, a pleasant atmosphere, and a good variety of food. I was particularly impressed with the environment and management of the swimming pool and changing areas. However, I do have a few suggestions: First, the changing rooms at the pool didn't provide disposable combs, which was a bit inconvenient. Second, the quality of the breakfast buffet needs improvement. There were too few steamed items, and the variety was limited – for instance, there were no typical vegetable buns or red bean buns. The stir-fried vegetables were also sparse, only tough celery was available; I hope they can offer fresh options like broccoli and bok choy. Also, it would be much better to replace the pan-fried dumplings with classic Shanghai pan-fried pork buns. Third, only two bottles of water were provided in the room; I suggest adding two more. Fourth, the hairdryer in the room is quite old and should be updated for better comfort. Fifth, I recommend that the front desk assign two additional staff members on weekends and holidays to improve efficiency and also enhance their smile service training.

The curtains don't close properly, letting light in. It's so noisy! Extremely noisy! I could clearly hear water running and people talking in the rooms on both sides. Someone was also smoking in the next room, and the secondhand smoke drifted over. What's most infuriating is that the 5th floor of the hotel is under renovation. The front desk sign stated that there would be no loud noise on weekdays from 12-2 PM, after 6 PM, and on holidays. Yet, on Saturday at 12:30 PM, the drilling started. When I complained to the front desk, they said it's a commercial building and they're allowed to renovate. I mean, seriously?? Is your front desk notice just for show?? After multiple complaints, they finally said they wouldn't work at noon, but then it started again at 2:30 PM. I originally booked this hotel to escape my own home renovations, and now I'm stuck in such a noisy hotel. It's truly infuriating!

Perfect family stay with kids! The hotel is right next to Fudan University, offering green campus views from the window. We could even book campus visits through the concierge, which was a great way for my child to experience the prestigious university atmosphere – they absolutely loved it. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a sound sleep for my child. Guests have access to the gym and pool, perfect for some light exercise with the kids. The Qingyunxuan cultural and creative store in the lobby sells Fudan souvenirs, great for a memento for the little ones. The staff were warm, patient, and very friendly towards children. Overall, it was a cozy and comfortable experience. Highly recommend for family trips!

Traveling with my child, I was looking for a hotel with convenient access to everything. By chance, I chose this Haiyue Mingting Hotel. After visiting Fudan University, Miss Orange provided thoughtful and warm service, even helping me retrieve my dried clothes. The hotel environment is absolutely fantastic. Definitely a five-star review! The 11th-floor room service was also very responsive.

I booked this hotel last minute, and it had been on my radar for a while. Luckily, I had a two-night voucher that made it a great deal, so I decided to stay. Opened in 2026, the hotel is very new overall. The location is excellent, with plenty of restaurants and small convenience stores nearby, and the subway station is just a three-minute walk away. It's also within walking distance of Wujiaochang and Daxue Road commercial areas, which is very convenient. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient, making for a smooth check-in. It's rare to find such a well-priced hotel in the city. Although it's rated three diamonds on Ctrip, its hardware facilities are definitely comparable to some five-star hotels – I have to commend them on that! The air conditioning works great, and the room comes with a microwave and a large refrigerator (even with a freezer compartment). The smart toilet isn't a fake one; it has multiple functions, and the shower has good water pressure with fast hot water. The hotel has robots and its own delivery lockers, making food delivery very convenient. I rarely encounter duplex hotels, and it adds to the fun of the stay. There are many cabinets in the room, so you never have to worry about not having enough space for your belongings. Plus, the hotel is very thoughtful; each cabinet has activated carbon packets, so there are no strange odors, and the cabinets smell pleasant. There are still some minor drawbacks. On the first day, it was a bit noisy outside the room, and I could tell the soundproofing isn't great. Also, when the next-door neighbor closed their door, I could feel the vibration even on the bed on the second floor. However, this didn't happen often, possibly due to low occupancy, and I wasn't disturbed when I was resting overall. Another point is that I hope the housekeepers' service awareness can be improved. On the second day, I woke up quite late, and the housekeeper might not have known we were still in the room, as she entered twice while we were sleeping. After I spoke to her, she realized we were in the room and said she would come back to clean later. All in all, the minor flaws don't overshadow the positives. The room type, facilities, and value for money are commendable, and I would definitely consider staying here again!

It boasts a great terrace with views of the subway and a park, making getting around incredibly convenient. There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The front desk staff were efficient and professional during check-in; I got my room card very quickly. There's even a piano in the lobby! The room was spacious with efficient air conditioning and a private bathroom. It was clean and tidy, and the mattress was comfortably soft. If you forget any toiletries, the front desk provides a full range of complimentary items. The security guard was exceptionally kind to guests, helping us open doors and carry luggage. Overall, the atmosphere felt warm and comfortable. What's more, there's a free gym, a home theater room, and a huge communal kitchen. I even saw someone with a pet, so it's pet-friendly too! To stay in such an apartment in Shanghai for just over 100 RMB is incredible value for money. I genuinely recommend this hotel!

The room itself was cozy with soft colors, instantly making me feel relaxed. The air conditioning was effective and easy to adjust. The TV had a clear picture and a good selection of channels, and the WiFi was stable and fast. The shower head provided an even spray, and the water temperature control was precise. They even offer a robot delivery service, which was a cool and convenient touch. Overall, everything was well-balanced and I'd definitely recommend it.
