Hotels near Wushitang, Zhoushan

After visiting Mount Putuo, I stayed at this hotel in Zhujiajian, and it was quite unique! It's right opposite the Guanyin Bodhisattva World, so the next day I could just scan my ID to enter, which was a good experience! The room was nice, and they offer a shuttle service. The minibar items were complimentary, and the auntie even brought milk and fruit.

Service: The owner was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, offering free pick-up and drop-off at the pier. Environment: The view from the hotel is unbeatable, and the location is superb, right in the heart of Gouqi Shengshan. It's incredibly convenient for visiting all the attractions, and you can walk to the town in six or seven minutes, saving a lot on transportation costs. Facilities: The room facilities are simple, clean, and very refreshing. The bed was extremely comfortable. Hygiene: The hygiene was excellent. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. I originally booked for one night, but I enjoyed the environment so much that I extended my stay for another night. I'll definitely come back if I get the chance.

We had a lovely stay at Sea Cliff Hotel for May 1st break. This is what I liked: - buying ship ticket for May holiday was mission impossible, starting with Tickets App not accepting foreign passports. Hotel helped me with arranging the tickets both ways, even after there were no tickets online (sold out in 20 min) - they arranged a pick us up on arrival and brought us back to the pier on departure - hotel has an excellent sea view location, very silent and sea centric rooms, same for restaurant - everything is modern, I specifically liked ability to share Apple screens on TV in the room, great way to review photos and watch own movies in the evening - good breakfast 8 to 9AM, you can come 8:45 and enjoy a late breakfast as well; we also had late lunch in hotel restaurant on arrival, great food, great to seat outside, flexible working hours (not closed 14-17!), actually I liked their meals more than what we had on the main beach top restaurant, finally reception can brew you a coffee though bit hot - there is 20 min walk from the hotel for a great bay and coffee place to watch sunset, excellent experience and no need to wake up early - hotel was always online on WeChat to address any issues or questions, including how to organize a day, fantastic services! - hotel has own beach area, looks like good to swim, I will consider for summer, water is clean on the island, and this is just couple of hours from Shanghai - small drawback: fishing boats pass by from early morning, this may disturb your morning sleep ;) - other thing the bed is a bit too hard for my back, but where did you see soft beds in China? Overall: highly recommended!

Traveling with my family of four, the hotel was clean and tidy, and the staff always greeted us warmly. After getting to our room, I noticed a bathtub. I asked a friendly staff member if they had disposable bath liners, and to my surprise, they brought one up in less than five minutes! The next day, after coming back from sightseeing, I found a brand new, unopened one sitting by the tub. It was at that moment that I realized how excellent the housekeeping service was. When we were checking out, a manager named Wang Yang, as indicated by his name tag, told us about the shuttle frequency, helped us with our luggage, and even gave our kids little gifts 🎁. Finally, when we were storing our luggage, the two young bellhops were also very diligent. They helped us load our bags into the car when we left and even invited us back again... Also, in the morning at breakfast, our daughter wanted seaweed soup, but they didn't have it that day. I just casually asked about it, and a staff member quickly explained that it was a rotating chef schedule. She even noticed me rubbing my eyes and promptly offered me tissues. She then offered to personally prepare a bowl of seaweed soup for me, but I said a substitute was fine. All these little details they provided were definite pluses. Your hotel has been our family's choice for years, and we look forward to seeing you again next year! P.S. The blessing pouch our child is wearing on her chest was a gift from Manager Wang Yang, and she absolutely loves it 💕.

One of our best stays in China! This place was absolutely amazing. The ladies running it are hilarious and always made us laugh. First of all - the rooms are really good for the price. We got upgraded to a much better room after our first night, free of charge. It’s also conveniently located next to grocery shops, cafes, restaurants and the beach, while still being a little out of the way from the hustle and bustle. The food here is really good too - the (included) breakfast as well as what you can buy for lunch/dinner is really fresh. Because of the language barrier they tried to accommodate by providing more “western style” breakfasts for us, but when we realized and asked about it they made us a second breakfast that was like the one everyone else got. They also helped us out with a driver to take us to the abandoned village, and booked our tickets back to Shanghai. Also, the aircon here is FAST and reliable which we’ve realized isn’t a given after a few weeks in China. So that’s another (small yet important) plus for sure! Usually I like to explore different places and stay at different accommodations if/when I revisit places, but I’d probably make an exception and stay here again if I ever come back to visit the island!

Service by the guy who picked us up from the airport is excellent. 10/10!!! Our luggage was damaged during the flight, he called someone to help us repair it. We were short on time for the ferry sailing to Mt Putuo due the weather conditions, that day sailings will be cancelled, (we got to chat in the van when he picked us up from the airport), he said we can just leave the luggages at the front desk and then hurriedly sent us to the port, good thing we made it. That's superb customer service!!! He didn't even want to get a tip, eventually we gave him some dried mango packs from the Philippines. The front desk guy though is a different story, he was super slow, did not know how to handle checking in of foreign passport holders I think. He has our passports and had to ask us our birthdays!! It was also difficult for him to understand the visa dates (expiry and issue dates), and he kept on asking when we arrived, it is just there stamped opposite the visa page, we just actually arrived that day, this is our first hotel. Anyway, free pick up from the airport is best and free sending to the port and then lastly also to the bus station. Great service.

Struck gold with this find for our trip! The staff were all incredibly thoughtful and proactive, even upgrading our room type. The room itself was spacious and didn't feel cramped. The hygiene was on point, and the soundproofing was excellent, so no worries about noisy kids. It's also very close to the ferry terminal. The whole family was very happy with our stay.

The hotel service is good, honestly! We booked a room without windows, but the front desk upgraded us to a room with windows for free because we had children! Because we didn't check the weather forecast before the trip and it was going to rain the next day, we got up early to go to Fayu Temple for worship. When we came back, our clothes were all soaked. We had to go back to the hotel to take a hot shower, and then send the clothes to the laundry to be washed and dried. I don't know if the washing machine was too dirty or the quilt was not clean! After the pants were dried, I put them on and felt like something bitten my legs...

The location is excellent, just a 10-minute walk from the pier, and also a short walk from the main bus stop. The rooms are very clean and tidy, and the owner is very kind, offering to pick up and drop off luggage at the pier. I would definitely choose this guesthouse again next year if I go there again.

The room was nice and suitable for our family of three to stay together. The owner was also very welcoming. As it was raining on the island, we made a last-minute reservation. The owner's wife helped us buy things and lent us a charger.
