The sea-view room faces the ocean directly, offering a great environment and excellent cleanliness. The hotel staff provides fantastic service, checking in with us daily via messages. The location is super convenient; you can head straight to the beach just by going downstairs. If you don't feel like stepping out, you can enjoy the sea view right from your bed.

Here's another 'small but perfectly formed' place, exceeding my expectations – I actually had the best night's sleep here!
1. After exiting the subway, just keep following the 'VIP Building' (or Plaza Premium Lounge) signs. (Odd that the other two hotels have their names displayed, but Aerotel doesn't, though at least they're all in the same general direction.)
2. I chose a room without a private bathroom, but the communal bathroom wasn't far from my room. I went twice, once in the morning and once at night, for washing and using the toilet, and didn't encounter anyone else. It actually felt a bit like being at home, just stepping out of the room to use the facilities. The room itself isn't big, and the AC control panel is on the ceiling. It has a TV, hangers, and a kettle – everything you need. The window is sealed, but once the AC is on, it doesn't feel stuffy at all; the air feels circulated.
3. If you want a good night's sleep, you definitely need to pull the curtains all the way down. Since I arrived at night, it felt quite dark. To avoid oversleeping, I only pulled them halfway. The next morning, I vaguely heard/dreamt of the sound of rain (or was it someone dragging luggage?). I opened my eyes, and the sunlight was streaming in, making the room so bright!
4. Exiting the room, there's a dedicated security channel, which is super convenient and leads directly past security. BUT! It's quite a trek from the VIP lounge. I walked a long way to V2 to eat some mackerel dumplings, and then after eating, I walked back to the boarding gate…
Note: From the subway to the VIP Building/Plaza Premium Lounge is on the first floor. You can print your boarding pass here, then take the elevator next to it up to the third floor to check in. Before boarding, my boarding code wouldn't scan, so I had to go back from the 3rd floor to the 1st floor to print my boarding pass, and then back to the 3rd floor for security. But overall, it was all pretty quick!
The receptionist was very welcoming and upgraded my room for free. The room was clean, tidy, and quiet. Parking was convenient and free, and there were plenty of restaurants nearby. I would definitely book again next time. Finally, I want to praise the receptionist again; she was beautiful, kind, and spoke very gently.

Excellent location, right on the middle of the beach. Amazing views from the floor length windows in the seaview rooms. Obviously, being right on the beach there are so many restaurants, coffee shops, bars and convenience stores minutes away by foot. Rooms are comfortable with good beds, showers and Aircon. Breakfast is fine. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again next time I visit Weihai.

This is hands down my top pick for business travel! The meeting rooms are fully equipped, and the stable, lag-free internet ensured our afternoon session went off without a hitch. The rooms are spacious with a large desk, making it super convenient for work. The lighting was also ideal for focusing on tasks. The comfortable bedding guaranteed a great night's sleep, so I woke up completely refreshed and energized the next day. Breakfast offered freshly brewed coffee and hot food. While the selection wasn't huge, it was high-quality and filling, which saved a lot of time. The hotel's close proximity to my business location – just a 5-minute taxi ride – made my commute incredibly efficient. The front desk staff were also incredibly helpful, even assisting with document printing. Their service is both professional and thoughtful – absolutely perfect for business travelers!

The location is great, right next to the West Railway Station, which was really convenient for our two-day trip to Jinan by train. We upgraded to a larger room with our child, and it was a good experience. The breakfast selection was a bit limited, probably because it was crowded and we went late, but the freshly fried dough sticks were wonderfully crispy and fragrant.

My first night here was great, so I extended my stay for another night. Housekeeping cleaned the room and replaced the amenities, and the price even dropped a bit. For those heading to Weihai, note that the Yantai Bus Terminal is right next to the hotel, and it's only about 300-500 meters from the train station. It's truly excellent value! I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yantai – you definitely won't regret staying here.

This guesthouse is a real gem! The room design is superb, the double sofa by the window creates such a cozy atmosphere—perfect for enjoying a cup of tea and watching a movie in the evening. The value is phenomenal; at this price, it even includes a Tmall Genie smart home system, instantly elevating the stay experience. The best surprise is the elevator—no effort at all when carrying large luggage! The room was impeccably clean, spotless; the mattress was just the right firmness, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The location is also amazing—just a 3-minute walk to the attractions, making travel incredibly convenient. The front desk staff were exceptionally welcoming and even recommended a local gem for breakfast buns—delicious and affordable. Overall, a perfect experience, incredibly high value, a true hidden gem—I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

The service was very welcoming, and the room facilities were modern and well-equipped. The balcony had a table and chairs, perfect for watching the sunset and enjoying the sea breeze, which was really convenient. The ocean was right downstairs, and falling asleep to the sound of the waves was so peaceful. The front desk was also very efficient at resolving issues. The only slight drawback was the cleaning by the auntie, but that didn't detract from the overall positive experience. I had a really pleasant stay this time.

SShengsheng_This was my first time staying at an Atour Light hotel. The style is really interesting, with a predominantly blue theme, making it feel more geared towards a younger crowd.
The room size was pretty standard, not particularly large, but the cleanliness and service were excellent in every aspect. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and quickly helped with any requests we had.
However, the biggest issue with the room was the poor soundproofing. You could clearly hear people laughing or talking loudly in nearby rooms. This is definitely something that could use improvement.

AAnonymous UserQingdao is good anyway. This place is also close to the beach. It's just that the road was under construction when I went there, so it was not very convenient to walk. That's the only shortcoming. The front desk service was also very good, and the breakfast was also rich.

TTuolingdewaiguaThis hotel definitely deserves five stars! Given that it's on the summit of Mount Tai, the accommodations are exceptional – you can't compare them to hotels at the base of the mountain. It's also vastly superior to the guesthouse I stayed at on the peak 20 years ago. Being able to take a hot shower was a huge relief after the climb. Although there were strong winds due to extreme weather at the summit, the room windows were sealed so well that I only heard the wind, but didn't feel any drafts inside. A big thank you to the front desk staff for upgrading my room. From the room, I could see the twinkling lights of Tai'an, which was beautiful. The room was clean, and the bedding was very comfortable. I would choose this place again if I have the chance to climb Mount Tai in the future.

GGuest UserThe best place for a calm vacation on a beach for a affordable price.
This was a nice little hotel standing right in front of a beach. The placement can be seen as perfect as this large beach is wonderful itself and much better then the beaches at the city center. The only inconvenience to consider when choosing this or nearby hotels is lack of cafes and restorans nearby, so you'd better take breakfasts in the hotel, they were not bad, tasty and very filing, with serveral options to choose from. For other places to eat, except for a two nearby costly restorans, you'll have to wark to find one about 1-1,5 km or more. If you want to spend more time in the city center consider also the time to travel to it, about 1,5 hours on a bus, 30-50 minutes on taxi.
The service was decent, even though stuff does not speak english they were very welcome and supportive, helping me and calling taxi a couple of times when I needed it.
The hotel itself is clean. The room was cleaned daily, not perfectly as the floors in the room stayed a bit dusty all the time but that was not too much of an issue. The bedding was always clean, towels were clean as well and changed daily.
I have to say a few words about the beach and the see themselves. The beach is large and clean, there are trash bins which are cleaned daily. It have a sand of very good quality, indeed of a golden color. The beach longs for several kilometers and is from about 150 meters wide to 200+ meters wide depending on the tides. The beach is shallow but no too much, you can easily walk to a place where you can swim freely. It was August and the water was extremely warm and cozy. It was clean with little human made trash coming from the see, but due to temperature the water near the shore start blooming on a second or third day of my stay there. I had to walk 10-15 meters in a 50-80 centimeters deep water full of seaweed before I come to clear waters. I bit unpleasant but not a big deal. There were some jelly fish coming the shore, the see doesn't have dangerous ones though. The beach has some infrastructure, at least there is a place to wash your hands and legs and there are public toilets nearby the beach, but there are no safeguards on it. With an chinese specifics I would say that's a plus as they are too restrictive and protective here.

GGuest UserI called before checking in to confirm that parking was free. When I checked in, the front desk didn't even ask if I had a car. Turns out you need a parking voucher for the security guard to get free parking. When we drove out, we told the security guard we were staying at the hotel, but he didn't mention needing a voucher and just made us pay for parking.
This is the first time I've stayed at a hotel this price that doesn't even provide complimentary bottled water.

Just returned from a stay at Qingdao Yilan Xinsu Hotel—a solid choice near Shilaoren Bathing Beach and the International Convention and Exhibition Center 🤩. With an impressive overall Trip.com rating of 8.8/10, guests rave about its service, cleanliness, and convenience .
The location scores about 8.9/10—it’s roughly a ten-minute walk to the sandy beach and sits just 8.5 km from Qingdao’s downtown core and 14 km from Qingdao North Railway Station. Cleanliness is top notch with a clean rating of 9.0/10 .
🌞 What stood out:
• Rooms are spacious and bright, featuring big windows and modern décor in a sleek New‑Chinese style. Everything felt new and well-kept .
• The beds are comfy (2.2 × 2.2 m, pure cotton linens), showers felt luxurious, and the soundproofing was excellent. Also enjoy convenient rapid check‑out service with personal touches .
• The breakfast buffet gets solid praise—tasty and well-rounded start to the day ().
💤 Stay comfort: 9.0/10
• Clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed rooms made for a relaxing and bright stay.
📍 Location: 8.9/10
• Close to beach access and the expo center, plus shopping and transit nearby—but no parking if you’re driving.
🤝 Service: 8.9/10
• Staff are described as friendly and helpful; check-in and check-out are seamless.
🛎️ Amenities: 8.6/10
• Offers the basics—Wi-Fi, in-house restaurant (light meals available), and cozy space—but lacks a gym or pool .
⸻
✅ Quick tips:
• Ask for a seaview or beach‑side room—light is great, and views are peaceful 🌊🌅.
• It’s walkable to the sand and just a short ride from Qingdao International Convention Centre.
• No parking, so if you’re self-driving, plan to park nearby or use public transport 🚉.
• No fitness center or pool, but hey—you’re steps from the beach 🏖.
⸻
Final verdict: With modern rooms, sparkling clean spaces, strong service, and a primo location near Shilaoren Beach and the convention center, Qingdao Yilan Xinsu Hotel scores a solid 9/10. Great pick for business travelers or chill beach escapes alike! 😌✨

GGuest UserThis hotel is located in Jinan Gaoxin Wanda Plaza. You enter through Y1 gate and take the hotel's dedicated elevators (4 or 5) to the 19th-floor reception for check-in. The hotel is directly across from Shandong Energy Group, making it one of the closest hotels to it. The three reception staff were warm, generous, and provided excellent service. The room was clean and hygienic, and being on a high floor, it was very quiet at night. Breakfast, also on the 19th floor, was very rich and plentiful.
