"My partner and I came to Linyi for a trip. After comparing various options online, we decided on the Lizhi Hotel. The price was very affordable, offering excellent value for money. We drove from Langya Ancient City to the hotel, and it was probably only about a ten-minute drive. There's a parking lot right in front of the hotel, which made parking very convenient. The only minor downside was the lack of breakfast; I think it would be a significant improvement if they opened their restaurant soon. However, the service was truly impeccable. Check-in was very quick and efficient, and we even received a small souvenir gift at check-out. They truly embodied the principle of 'customer first,' and I was extremely pleased with this aspect."

"**Location & Value** Good location and size for the price point. The building is actually a residential condo with local residents, which gives it an authentic feel. Connected to the mall at level 6, so convenient access to dining and shopping. Corridors are very dark. **Rooms & Comfort** Rooms are true to photos. Beds are firm but surprisingly comfortable. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets provided. Fair warning though—this property is really more of a service apartment than a hotel, so manage expectations accordingly. **Cleanliness Issues** This is the main concern. Housekeeping mops the floor daily, but the water appears dirty and the floors end up grimier than before. If you're traveling with a child (as we were), you'll need to clean the floor yourself—and housekeeping will undo your work the next day. Frustrating cycle. **Breakfast & Food** Skip the hotel breakfast package—it's just delivery that you could order yourself. Better options are walking distance away. McDonald's is only 3 minutes on foot. **Service** Service is minimal to nonexistent. Asked about getting a local phone number for deliveries and the front desk was unwilling to help. Taobao/package deliveries get dumped in a communal basket with no sorting—you have to search through yourself. **Condition & Maintenance** Advertised as newly renovated in 2025, but visible wear and tear suggests low-quality renovation work. Concerns about long-term durability without proper maintenance. **Summary** Good for budget travelers who don't expect hotel amenities and don't mind doing some housekeeping yourself. The location and price are solid, but the cleanliness and service gaps are real issues."

"The room was incredibly clean, with no dust on the surfaces or in the corners, and the floor was dry and odorless. Toiletries were well-stocked. The mattress was just right, not too soft and not too firm. The windows had excellent soundproofing; even though we were right next to the airport, I couldn't hear any plane noise and slept soundly through the night. Hot water came out quickly with good pressure, and all the lights and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The decor was brand new and minimalist."

"I rarely leave reviews, but I wanted to share my experience. In short: excellent value for money. **Hotel Environment:** Good. The hotel lobby has a 'Liaozhai' (Chinese classic tales) theme, and the rooms are well-equipped. **Hotel Service:** Excellent. The front desk staff paid warm attention to my needs, for example, making sure I wasn't next to the elevator. They even gave me a lottery ticket (too bad I didn't win!). My room came with four complimentary bottles of water. Check-out is officially at 2 PM, and I only woke up past noon, yet no one disturbed me [facepalm emoji]. I later found a note in the room saying you could order free wontons at night. All these little details really warmed my heart – truly deserving of my great Zibo! (See photos). **Location:** The most important thing is that the hotel is close to the train station, and the soundproofing is decent. It's about an 8-minute taxi ride from the train station, and despite being close, it's not noisy at all. I, for one, had a very peaceful night's sleep. Great value for money! I'm very satisfied! It'll be my top choice next time."

"When I came to Weihai three or four years ago, I booked this guesthouse, and I was very satisfied with it at the time. So this time, I chose it again. However, the check-in experience was not as satisfying as the last time. The first obvious issue was the elevator – it took forever to catch one. The second was the room's cleanliness; the glass door of the bathroom was completely grimy, and the shower area was right outside the bathroom door. After showering, the entire bathroom floor would be wet if you needed to use the toilet. Plus, the shower drain was clogged and didn't drain, leading to standing water. The third problem was the sewer smell. It was somewhat tolerable with the windows open during the day, but at night, with the windows closed, the smell filled the entire room. Luckily, I only stayed for two nights. If you're booking the same room type as mine, I suggest you inquire about these issues beforehand. The location is convenient; the beach is right downstairs, and there are people singing on the beach at night. For this room type, parents with small children should be aware of the steps, as kids might trip easily at first."
