3-Star Hotels in Porto District, Portugal

We didn't est at the hotel. The room was perfect, bed was comfortable. A bit of a walk ftom centre of Porto. Price was very good with introductory discount. Thank you.

As soon as my son and I arrived at Porto, we entered the accommodation and felt so good. It was a very clean and pretty accommodation. The location was so good that I walked to São Bento Train Station and the Dom Luis Bridge for sightseeing. It was a very satisfactory stay as there were many restaurants and shopping centers near the accommodation. Highly recommended!

What a unique concept of a hotel. I really enjoyed my first experience in a Zero Hotel. The rooms are small, but it’s meant for you to get out of your box and explore the area! Towels were soft, bed was comfortable, and the breakfast is well worth it. My only suggestion would be to address some of the rusting metal in the bathroom — I know the look is rustic, but the parts rusting were not part of the “look.” The location is great—you’re very close to all the touristy things but a little removed from the main streets. Friendly check-in staff.

I can't appreciate it because I haven't been. I tried to book it twice and the second gave me another day. I tried to cancel it from the same and I couldn't. I tried to contact trip.com and I couldn't. I have spoken to the hotel and they say they can't cancel it.

Very good, very good location, see the São Bento train station and the Porto church on the front and rear balconies, all walks can be walked. The kitchen is fully equipped and can be eaten by yourself. You can see the priest tower by pushing open the window, and the night view of the Douro River is beautiful! Porto is a beautiful city where you can drink coffee, drink beer and daze!

The hotel is located in the heart of Porto, just 15 minutes walk from the Trindade station and 5 minutes from bulhao. Very clean room. Good litter . Excellent breakfast . You even choose what you want to eat : bread , egg , jam , cheese , honey , cereals , yagurt , growing , pasta , confectionery , butter ..... And a real happiness with orange juice . Last year I had the most wonderful stay at Menina Colina, and was excited to return. Unfortunately I now wish I had reserved elsewhere, as it has been nothing but a disappointment. Prices are so much higher than a year ago, but I thought I got what was a good deal on the garden room. Turns out it is greatly overpriced for what is offered, as it has none of the exquisite design or attention to detail that the interior rooms have. It also seems to be neglected in terms of maintenance. The coffee machine was leaking, and after reporting it, it was made out to be my fault as I was using it incorrectly. I had to physically show a member of staff the leaked water for them to agree to replace it. I was really annoyed that they felt that they needed to demonstrate to me how it works rather than just replacing it immediately. The next disappointment was that the room was initially not serviced at all, and no explanation was given. When you are paying $165 for a mediocre room (not even including breakfast), one would at the very least expect the bins to be emptied. The bathroom also had a terrible smell that permeated the room, and mosquitoes were a problem too. Management did offer me lunch or attendance of their fado show, but none of these arrangements fitted into my busy programme. I thought a small financial compensation would have made more sense. That did not happen, and nothing further was mentioned or discussed on check-out. The final issue was the online check-out which they require. When I tried to complete it, my bill was for my entire stay, although 3 of the 4 nights had already been paid months in advance. So my conclusion is unfortunately that Menina Colina’s standards have dropped significantly, and that it is overpriced for the lack of attention to detail that is evident in several areas.
