"The room was clean, and the location was convenient, right next to a Chinese church. The breakfast was fantastic! The staff were all very welcoming. The rooftop pool was clean, had attentive service, provided towels, and you could even order food there. SM Big Mall is definitely worth a visit!"

"Not the first time staying here, and will go back again. Location is perfect, all the necessities can be found within a walking distance. Amenities: All the important amenities are available except for hand towels and you have to beg for towels and pretty much the replenishment of amenities after the room is cleaned, far different from the last time when it was still Belmont. First room we were given had a very mouldy smell and which gave the kids and I instant headaches. They eventually changed it after about 4 hours of waiting and intervention by Trip.com. This really put a damper on things. Breakfast: Great, the variety is good, but it’s the same pretty much everyday. The beach: Within 5 minutes walk, but don’t you dare lose of misplace the beach pass paper tag, they’re very uptight about it. The beach if not the best beach, very rocky which makes swimming pretty uncomfortable. However, the pool area is awesome and there are sun loungers all around and that makes up for the unpleasant beach. They provide swimming towels too! I must say it has developed a lot since the last time I was here and I can only hope they will keep improving."

"I really liked the hotel. The breakfasts were a bit basic, but enough! The service was excellent, everyone was smiling and polite. There's a free shuttle to/from the airport. Magellan's grave is very close by! It's a good neighborhood! I recommend this hotel! The only downside is that it's a bit noisy. The windows are single-paned and don't block out much street noise."

"We enjoyed our 4 nights stay in savoy,though the rooms are not that spacious,but enough to move around with luggages, the food is also tasty, everyday they have different menus,the amenities and the view, on the 18th floor is wow...you can see the landscape of cebu by day and by night..memorable indeed..we enjoyed our pool and beach time too.. we will definitely come back again, all the staffs are so nice and polite..special thanks to the feont desk Jeremy, we enjoyed our last 2 nights stay because of him."

"This was my second time staying at Solea Hotel. Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The breakfast was very good, with a wide variety of food choices, and the room rates are affordable, which makes the hotel a good value for money. However, I was slightly disappointed with the check-in process this time. We booked three rooms, but upon arrival, only one room was available. We were allowed to check in to the first room and were asked to wait there while the other two rooms were being prepared. Although the official check-in time is 3:00 PM, we only received the keys for the remaining two rooms at around 5:40 PM. The staff kept telling us that the room keys would be “to be followed,” but despite several follow-ups, the waiting time took around 2–3 hours, which was quite long. Since the rooms were booked online in advance, we were expecting them to be ready on time. That said, this was the only time I experienced this issue. During my first stay, everything went smoothly and I had no complaints. I still appreciate the hotel’s amenities and affordability, and I hope the check-in process can be improved in the future."

"I have been using Costabella for nearly 20 years and have always considered it a pleasant, well maintained hotel. In fact I even got married here! However, during my most recent stay, the experience fell noticeably short of expectations. We booked a poolside room and, after check in, I was genuinely surprised to find that the room was on the third floor. Based on my many previous stays, I had always understood poolside rooms to be those adjacent to the pool at ground level. If you are booking a poolside room, be aware that this may not be the case and expectations should be managed accordingly. The room itself was a little dated in style, but it was clean, comfortable, and well looked after. Housekeeping was consistent throughout the stay, which helped offset the older décor. The pool area is relatively small but generally well maintained. Unfortunately, it was extremely crowded throughout the day due to the large number of day pass visitors. As a result, there were no chairs or loungers available for hotel guests for most of the day, which was disappointing. On a positive note, the beach area was clean and pleasant. The food was the main let down. The buffet breakfast would rate no more than 4 out of 10. Much of the food had not been replenished, including empty juice and coffee stations, and what remained was cold and unappetising. However, it was better on the second day. Dinner was equally disappointing. Several main courses were served cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen twice. In the end, we cancelled two seafood dishes altogether, as reheating raised concerns about food quality and safety. The steak, which was once a highlight of Costabella for me, was extremely tough and far below the standard I have previously enjoyed. Overall, Costabella still has many positive qualities, but this stay did not reflect the standards I have previously associated with the resort and this will be my last visit. Unless the quality of the food and the management of guest capacity improve, I would find it difficult to recommend Costabella based on this recent experience."

"The location is good because its near the terminal and you can find different restaurants near by, even a grocery store is just outside the hotel so its really convenient. The room is also clean and spacious. We book a studio type room so there’s a mini kitchen and a washing machine (but there is an extra charge if you want to use the washing). We dont have much picture inside the room but I included a picture outside the hotel and the view outside the balcony."

"It is a nice location to travel to town or even just stay in the hotel. The breakfast has variety choices and wont get bored easily. For the photo of the towel, actually we request for 2 more bottle of mineral water but I don’t know why the house keeping talk about towel. And we check in for two adult but the house keeper insist only give one towel and not even a hand towel. At the end, we call to receiptionist to request the towel and they mentioned they suppose to provide 2 towels. Their internal communication within department shall be enhanced for this. Others cleanliness and hygiene is still acceptable"

"The room was fantastic—spacious, modern, and incredibly clean. The bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, making it easy to get a great night's sleep. The shower was also excellent, with great water pressure and plenty of hot water, which is always a plus after a long day. Breakfast at the hotel was also great. With big variety and good quality of the food. From fresh fruit and pastries to hot dishes, everything was delicious and well-prepared. However, the check-in process was a bit slow. It seemed like the front desk was understaffed or perhaps dealing with a system issue, which caused some delays. Additionally, I was disappointed to find out that the swimming pool was under renovation during my stay. It would have been nice to know this in advance, as I was looking forward to using it after a long day in a car. Despite these minor inconveniences, I enjoyed my stay and would definitely consider returning."

"The resort’s splendid. It was my 2nd time coming here. But I was pretty disappointed with the check in time. We came to the hotel around 3 pm in the hope that we can directly check in without any hassle but it was pretty disappointing that we had to wait for one hour to get our room and we were given a different room than what we booked. One thing about the floor inside the hotel hallways to the elevator .. was wet , it could be dangerous if people slipped. Though I still enjoyed the facilities specially the pool. THANKS"
