EL Nido Beach Hotels

"I stayed in H Hotel for few nights I must say we didn't expect much from this hotel but we were really impressed! The location is superb. It's just few minutes walk from the coast where the island tours depart. Also near the shops and restaurants which made things very convenient. The hotel is quite modern. They have dyson for blowdry and smeg kettle in the room. The bed is very comfortable I had a good sleep every night. We had the perfect view (sea-view room) from the room plus they have the best instant coffee in the rooms. There's no hotel that can offer that good coffee which is exclusively produced for H Hotel. The restaurant upstairs had an amazing view of the sea. The ambiance is so chill and the foods tasted amazing. We had few drinks too. Everything we had tasted absolutely good. The staff provided assistance with El Nido tours and answered all queries we had while ensuring that we get to enjoy our tour around El Nido. Hats off to the reception for really minding us very well. They are the best! We are so grateful of their recommendations. We really had a great time in El Nido.. big thanks to H Hotel staff!"

"This time, I brought my family to stay at the villa. It has two floors and two bathrooms, and the space is much larger than I expected! The first floor has a large sofa and a TV, making us feel at home. Even sitting outside to enjoy the breeze and admire the green trees is very pleasant. The whole family was very satisfied with our stay!"

"We had sea view rooms. One room had enough space but awful small bathroom, the other room was super small I couldn’t open my luggage on a floor, had to put it on a bed to open. The view is stunning, but be aware that because of the port it is noisy from the early morning and noisy in the evening due to cafes around. In general we had a good stay, staff was helpful, breakfast was good, wi fi not strong. Sink water stinks:( We booked all tours from the hotel reception, it was convenient and same price as everywhere, they also provided free towels for tours, you could rent a mask and a coral shoes"

"The hotel gives good value for your money considering its location. The hotel was clean, the bed was comfy and breakfast was good. It was close to where boats dock for the tours. With access to restaurants, shops, tour offices and rental shops. The sunset view in front of the hotel was also something to look forward to on great evenings. The staff were all friendly and helpful. Sets your expectations about the water potability which we appreciate, because it's better safe than sorry. I will definitely book the hotel again if their prices remain reasonable."

"There’s so much to like about S Resort El Nido! The room was spacious, the bed was super comfortable, the shower was perfect (very spacious, great shower heads and water pressure). We had a top of the range hair dryer & kettle, with a mini fridge, a TV with netflix, a drying rack on the balcony, and our rooms were cleaned and tidied every day. The staff were extremely accomodating and welcoming! We always received a warm welcome and were always offered assistance with anything we needed. I would highly recommend S Resort in El Nido!"

"Please observe sanitation esp. in the area where you serve your food/ breakfast. I've experienced seeing a little cockroach on the cereal bar area and also kindly improve on your breakfast offering. Thank you. :)"

"The hosts are the friendliest people alive. They were so kind and helpful so I felt so comfortable. The room was great and big. It has an air conditioner and a small fan inside your box. Your capsule has a curtain made of wood and it was so cool. They provide a small breakfast since 7.30 am. It usually bananas, buns and peanut butter. On the first floor they have a cafe and you get a 15% discount if you're a guest of a hostel."

"We enjoyed the experience overall. We could hear the waves from our tent when falling asleep and the beach is gorgeous. Air conditioning worked well in the tent. The gym is fantastic and there is also a pool with bar area available for the glamping guests. Having a shared bathroom was not as annoying as we expected, as only 3 tents share bathroom, but some showers never seemed to have hot water. Also the bathrooms could be upgraded as some seemed unfinished (ceiling / walls / locks). It would be nice to have clean mugs and coffee / tea refills available everyday."

"Pros: Our stay at Piece Lio was decent overall. The aesthetics matched the pictures online, and the studio was spacious with a lovely balcony view overlooking the rainforest. I really appreciated the Dyson hairdryer in the room, which made things much easier with long hair. The staff were friendly, polite, and kind, thank you guys! Cons: There were some small issues in the room, such as paint patches peeling off and small holes near the window shutters, which need attention, especially for a fairly new hotel. The biggest disappointment was discovering that there is no gym or spa, even though both are listed in the hotel’s description. This may not be a big deal for everyone, but it was for us since we had planned our trip around maintaining our fitness and relaxation routine. Instead, guests are given access to facilities within the same hospitality group. The gym and spa are located offsite, about 15 minutes away in town. While the hotel provides free shuttle service to and from that location, the drive feels much longer than expected due to island roads. The gym is small with basic equipment, and the spa, called Rituals Health and Spa, felt old and in need of renovation. Breakfast was average and not really to our liking. It was also inconvenient because most restaurants at Lio Beach do not open until around 10 a.m., leaving limited early morning options. We ended up eating at another nearby hotel restaurant, Molave, which was the only one open at that time. One of the staff members incorrectly told us there were other options available earlier, which suggests a need for better training and communication. Another issue was with a pre-booked van ride to one of the beaches. We had confirmed it via WhatsApp, but when we went downstairs, the staff had no record of it. To their credit, they handled the situation professionally and offered us a free one-way ride to make up for the inconvenience. Overall: The staff were warm and helpful, but management needs to improve communication, training, and most importantly, the accuracy of the facilities listed online. It feels misleading to advertise a gym and spa that are not actually part of the hotel. The lack of an in-house restaurant was also inconvenient, especially when you want a quick meal without leaving the property. If the hotel eventually adds its own spa and gym, it would be a much better experience. We did recommend it to friends for a short stay before their flight, but I would not suggest booking it if your priority is having fitness and spa facilities in one place. Overall, would return it they added the facilities! P.S. there’s cats! I’m not a cats person so it was a little uncomfortable to have them downstairs in the lobby area ."

"As a solo traveller I was taken of very well! They are quite attentive and the rooms were beautiful. They also do a free shuttle to Lio beach and to town. They can also arrange transfers to other places for a cheap price, so I wouldn’t worry about not being in the town centre. I would highly recommend ❤️"
