An experience that exceeded expectations. This is the birthplace of the Blossom Hill Inn. Before my trip, I read reviews saying the hotel was a bit old (because the residence is a family-run business in the medical field and is a historical building, so renovations are not convenient). However, after checking in, I found that Blossom Hill Inn has made great efforts to improve its facilities and guest experience.

First of all, the service was very thoughtful and attentive. Since the hotel wasn't fully booked that day, the staff helped us choose a room we liked.

The amenities in the room also showed that Blossom Hill Inn has put a lot of effort into them. There was welcome fruit and drinks, a Laifen hairdryer, a smart toilet, disposable toilet seat covers, their own brand of toiletries, and a heated towel rack. The breakfast was also very generous.

We returned to the room quite late that night, and the owner even prepared a bedtime dessert, which was very heartwarming. If I had to point out a drawback, it would be the common problem in old town areas—soundproofing, which is unavoidable with wooden structures.

They even prepared a souvenir upon check-out. For this price, it completely exceeded my expectations. I look forward to seeing them again!

The room has a large bathtub. For those who travel hard, it is wonderful to take a comfortable bath at night. The hotel service is also very good, and breakfast is provided. The panoramic view of the ancient city is unobstructed.

This was my first time staying at a B&B, and it was a really good experience. I chose this one because it's part of the HUAZHU group, and the architecture is very unique. The guy working there was great; my flight was delayed, so I didn't get to the hotel until 10 PM, but he waited for us in the cold wind. The location is excellent, very close to Zhongyi Market. Although the breakfast selection was small, they had warm rice noodles and eggs, which was enough for me. They also offered hot drinks in the evening, and when we checked out, they even gave us a small gift: a wind chime and three bags of ancient tree pu-erh tea.

Lijiang is a place that can make people soft and calm down slowly, and Huajiantang makes us feel at ease. After walking in the ancient city, we went back to the inn to rest and sit in the yard to drink tea. Whether it is the proprietress, the front desk lady, the brother, or the aunt, it is very comfortable to get along with them. I sincerely recommend it.

The biggest surprise of my Lijiang trip! I chose this guesthouse on a whim, and the courtyard and rooms were both beautiful and comfortable. The owner and staff were incredibly friendly.

Even before checking in, the owner proactively contacted me and came to pick me up from Zhongyi Market. It's very conveniently located near Zhongyi Market, but the guesthouse was remarkably quiet, completely isolating me from the outside hustle and bustle.

Every evening, the guesthouse served sweet soup. Sitting in the beautiful courtyard, sipping the soup and chatting with the owner and other guests, the owner even tailored our itinerary to our schedule and helped with reservations.

We felt right at home. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Lijiang!

For more than 200 years, the pure wooden structure building, the yard is simple and not decorated with pompous decoration. Quiet in the middle of noisy, it is very convenient to go to various places in the ancient city. Lijiang in December was a bit cold in the morning and evening. When I came back at night, the store plugged the electric heater in advance, and I was warm when I entered the house. Next time I go to Lijiang, I will choose to live here. I hope I can have more time to drink tea in the yard.

The hotel's location is super close to the North Service Center, and their service is really top-notch! Since the old town's paths aren't suitable for suitcases, the hotel actually went to the North Service Center to pick up our luggage directly. They even thoughtfully upgraded our room upon check-in and gave us fresh welcome fruit. Plus, there are so many adorable cat 'staff members' wandering around the hotel – they're super cute and aren't afraid of being petted! The hotel environment is also beautiful and very picturesque. When we checked out after exploring the old town, they even offered to deliver our luggage to any exit we wanted, so we didn't have to come back for it. Just a quick call and our suitcases were brought right to our chosen exit! So incredibly considerate! I'll definitely stay here again if I get the chance! Already missing Wangzai (the cat) after just leaving, haha!

Pros: Heartwarming Service, Extra Points for Pet-Friendliness

I must particularly praise the hotel's service. From check-in to check-out, the staff were consistently enthusiastic and responded to requests promptly. What's especially noteworthy is how friendly the staff were towards pets, proactively addressing the needs of guests traveling with animals. This was the most satisfying aspect of my stay.

Cons: Details Need Improvement, Experience Compromised

1.  **Hardware Shortcomings:** The soundproofing isn't very good. I could easily hear doors closing in the hallway at night, which affected my sleep quality.

2.  **Limited Dining Options for Pets:** Guests with pets are restricted to only a few tables near the front desk for dining, lacking a sense of exclusivity.

3.  **Flawed Breakfast Registration Process:** There was no one at the restaurant entrance to check guests in. An auntie suddenly approached me to ask for my room number while I was getting food. After I had settled down with my food, I went back into the restaurant for a drink and was asked again. The process is redundant and lacks proper standardization.

4.  **Pet-Friendliness is Superficial:** Although pets are allowed and the staff are enthusiastic, designating only the area near the front desk for pet dining falls short of genuine ”pet-friendliness.”

Overall Impression

The professionalism of the service team and their pet-friendly attitude are commendable. However, the shortcomings in hardware facilities and service details are quite prominent. If the soundproofing could be improved, and especially if the pet dining area planning could be optimized and service procedures standardized, the overall experience would be significantly enhanced.

The location is superb, right by the bustling Pingjiang Road, making it convenient for getting around while still offering a quiet retreat. The hotel itself is an ancient mansion from the Qing Dynasty, full of antique charm. The rooms are spacious, and according to the butler, they were renovated a few years ago, so they still look very new. The hotel doesn't have its own restaurant; instead, breakfast is arranged at the local specialty spot, Xin Zhenyuan. The set meal includes pan-fried jumbo shrimp buns, mini wontons, and soy milk, which were all delicious! The best part of this experience was definitely the butler service – prompt and accommodating! Since the hotel is in an alley where cars can't reach the entrance, a staff member will help you carry your luggage to a spot where you can catch a taxi. I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit Suzhou!

The hotel's location is absolutely unbeatable, nestled right beside the 5A-rated Shanghu Scenic Area. Opening the window reveals a picturesque江南 (Jiangnan - a region south of the Yangtze River) landscape; your eyes are met with shimmering blue waters, pavilions, and waterside structures – it's breathtakingly beautiful. We stayed in the 'Octonauts-themed Suite,' and the moment we walked in, it captivated our child's heart. The room was decorated with posters of Captain Barnacles and Kwazii, and there was even an exclusive children's toiletry kit. Room service was also incredibly prompt, making our stay very convenient.

The service was truly exceptional. Right after checking in, a shuttle cart was ready to pick us up, taking us and our luggage directly to our room. During check-in, they not only offered complimentary tea (chilled plum juice, so refreshing!) but also thoughtfully prepared a small toy for our baby.

The hotel also offers unique parent-child experiences like 'Flower House Daily Life,' where kids can enjoy free crafts. While the little ones are busy with activities led by instructors, adults can relax and participate in yoga and lakeside cycling, or find a rare moment of tranquility in the Flower House Library.

This place is definitely a 'kid-friendly paradise'! The Shanghu Feixiong Amusement Park, which children adore, is just a few hundred meters away! On the day we visited, we played from afternoon until sunset. My child ran wild in the non-powered amusement area, fished for shrimp, and rolled around in the sandpit, happily entertaining himself the entire time – a truly 'free-range parenting' experience. When tired from Shanghu Scenic Area or Feixiong Amusement Park, you can always take the shuttle back to your room to rest, easily switching between 'play till you're tired, then lie down; rest till you're bored, then play again' mode. Next time I have the chance, I'll definitely come back to experience cycling around Shanghu and taking a bamboo raft tour on the lake!

This hotel brought us to Xushuguan, and we learned that this place was originally a Suzhou Cultural Garden. The hotel is located in it and is adjacent to the Grand Canal, so it is a small attraction. The night view of the canal bridge is good, it is quiet at night, the breakfast is of high quality, and Huajiantang is trustworthy in all aspects. It's just a little far away from Suzhou city.

I stayed at the hotel on the last day of the National Day holiday, and the experience far exceeded my expectations, earning a 5-star rating. The Huajianting Hotel, under the Huazhu Group, is located in the Shajiabang Scenic Area, very close to the core attraction, Hengjing Old Street, yet offering a quiet retreat amidst the bustling city. The scenic area is exceptionally peaceful at night, thanks to the triple-layered soundproofing of the windows, so there's no need to worry about noise at night. Guests should navigate to the Huajianting Luhua Bay Reception Center upon check-in. Parking is available in the dedicated parking lot next door; a QR code scan at check-out entitles you to free parking. There are two ways to enter the hotel area: by electric cart or by boat. The front desk staff, both handsome and beautiful, will promptly assist you. The hotel opened in 2024, boasting top-notch facilities, a prime scenic location, and exceptional staff service, proactively providing attentive service to make you feel right at home. Since the hotel is located within the Shajiabang Scenic Area, the hotel stay includes admission to Shajiabang. During peak season, tickets cost 100 RMB per person, making the hotel stay a great deal and saving you the entrance fee. The scenic area offers a variety of performances and activities suitable for all ages, providing ample opportunities for sightseeing and leisure during your stay, making it especially suitable for family trips. I would definitely stay here again if I had the chance.

I've stayed here several times, always in a family room. The room layout is excellent, with two levels – an upstairs and a downstairs. The bathroom is only downstairs, which smartly encourages the use of the stairs. The hotel's courtyard view is stunning; I almost felt like I was at the Forbidden City. The service is incredibly thoughtful and attentive. Even during the busy Chinese New Year, when staffing is tight, the hotel's service and management quality really shone through. I chatted briefly with Liu, one of the front desk staff, and learned that she had been working for over ten consecutive days. Despite the triple pay, she was exhausted both physically and mentally. Yet, the quality of service didn't dip in the slightest. Thumbs up to Liu and her colleagues! 👍 Overall, everything about this hotel is outstanding, truly reflecting the flagship brand and top-tier management of Huazhu Club. When I return to Nanjing, I will definitely stay at Hanamaki Old East Gate again. And no, I'm not a shill, thank you.

The service was excellent! The facilities were also great, not old and rundown. They even offered delicious sweet soup every night! The hotel is right by the Qinhuai River, and the view from the fourth floor is particularly nice, perfect for a little break. The breakfast selection wasn't huge, but my child absolutely loved the noodles and mini wontons. In the evenings, after dinner, you can take a lovely stroll around Fuzimiao Temple.

In Wuxiang Water Town, I told the hotel's nearest parking lot the day before. I took the dog out to play for the first time. The experience was very good. The room is comfortable. There is also welcome fruit, fresh and delicious! There are not many varieties of breakfast, but it is enough. Every staff member is very enthusiastic.
Standing on the terrace at night to see, I don't think the lights in the water town are very beautiful. Because it is the off-season to play, there are not many people in the water town, and it is good to hang around.
There is a wetland park near the water town, which is also interesting. The nearby Wuxiang Mountain is not high, you can drive up. When we arrived at the foot of the mountain, we saw a parking lot. We still wanted to stop in. We saw that there was a car driving up the mountain in front, so we also drove up. There is a Tianchi landscape on the top of the mountain. Tickets are required. But we didn't go in with the dog. There is a reservoir at the foot of the mountain, the water surface is relatively large, there is also a parking lot nearby, and it is a bit wild to walk around the reservoir. The key is not to have tickets!

The surroundings are green and serene, with a 7-minute walk to Pipa Lake (琵琶湖) and a 15-minute walk to the Zhongshan Botanical Garden (中山植物园). Pipa Lake is free to enter and absolutely beautiful—wild yellow lilies bloom across the water, while the old Ming Dynasty city wall creates a striking contrast against the lake.

The hotel restaurant is nice, its breakfast buffet offers a good selection of quality food at a very reasonable price.

The rooms are clean, and the large bathtub and automatic toilet with a seat warmer are definite highlights. The staff are friendly and attentive.

I would definitely stay here again if I return to Nanjing!
