Drive 30 minutes East to experience high end shopping at La Cantera Mall, or visit Fiesta Texas theme park. You only live once! You will be staying in a 100 year old ranch house. It has been renovated with all the comforts of home. The ranch house sleeps 5 comfortably. The house has imperfections, but this is part of the charm. The shower is small, but does the job. An RV on the hill just above the ranch house can accommodate 4 additional guests, and has a shower as well. If you enjoy the outdoors, you are in for a treat. Remember, this is a rustic home on a ranch, you're not in a big city. Bird watchers will find this place to be a SEASONAL paradise ! There is a Samsung smart TV in every room, so you may watch all of your streaming apps.... This is a ranch.... Bring rugged hiking shoes or boots with rubber soles. There are steep hills and rolling pastures. You can get around the property on foot, Only guests 25 or older may rent the property. No parties, or events held here. NO SMOKING INSIDE THE HOUSE OR THE RV, NO GUNS and NO PETS Allowed. A "release of liability" waiver must be accepted before arrival. There are dangerous areas on the ranch with cliffs and seasonal water. There are old barb wire fences, rusty nails, spiders, scorpions, occasional snakes, porcupine, mice, coyote, raccoon, bobcat, skunk, hogs, wild turkey, deer and other indigenous wildlife on the ranch. This is typical of any land in the country. It’s possible that you will see some of these animals, they do exist on the property. There are times of the year when the creek is not running, and the pond is low. Apologies, but the weather cannot be controlled. Additionally, THIS IS NOT A SWIMMING PROPERTY. Then, all cooking can be done in cabin and/or on grills we provide, so no need to go to any restaurants... Even all our "extra-fun" Animal Adventures and Horseback Riding activities have been modified so they are "private" - just for you, by reservation and conducted outdoors and at "safe-distance".Upon each checkout, we ask all guests to cooperate in the safe-stay" procedures, with 3 simple steps: (1) wash their dishes with disinfecting soap we provide, air-dry and put them back in cabinets with doors closed, (2) put linens in plastic bags we provide and, seal and put by the door so we can promptly remove and (3) take all garbage to dumpster. Then we come in with face masks and spray every single surface with organic disinfectant and let the cabin air out while it takes effect, then go in and clean with disinfectant soap, all laundry is separately bagged and separately washed & dried in high heat. After cabins have been all cleaned out, we re-set beds with fresh linens and towels, new trash bags, cleaned / disinfected ac filters and filled up new coffee condiments.
