Visitors to Zhanjiang will find that the Zhanjiang Old Street Corner Youth Hostel is a fantastic accommodation choice. With Zhanjiangbei Railway Station just 9km away and Zhanjiang Wuchuan International Airport only 41km away, transportation is very convenient. There's plenty to do nearby, with Chikan Old Street, Datong Street and Cunjin Amusement Park all within a short distance. When guests have some time on their hands they can make use of the onsite facilities.
"A rather below-average hostel, even compared to other hostels and youth hostels in China. The bathroom and the dormitory weren't particularly clean. There was apparently no drinking water, no kettle, and no kitchen, or at least no stovetop and sink. However, I didn't actively ask for these things. I had to wait a while for check-in, as no one showed up at reception for a long time, despite my WeChat message (I couldn't call, unfortunately). The building itself is quite run-down.
On the positive side: a towel was provided (unfortunately a wrapped disposable towel, not very sustainable), there was a working air conditioner, a hairdryer, reasonably good Wi-Fi, and a washing machine upstairs, which I didn't use; there was also plenty of space to hang clean or otherwise wet laundry, including lots of hangers.
Furthermore, the accommodation is well-located if you want to spend time in the lively old town.
Next time, though, I would probably book a hotel room for only a little more."

Our hostel offers modern self-service kitchens, self-service laundry, simple and fashionable public spaces, and free tea, coffee and other beverages. Meiyun Youth Hostel is situated in front of the sea and the city, with a Changdachang Supermarket, Rongji Mall, Rongji International Cinema, Ruixing Coffee Shop, KFC, and Meixue Ice Cream Shop downstairs. It is conveniently located with ample parking spaces, close to Zhanjiang North Railway Station. The bus stop Rongji International Plaza Station at the bottom of the apartment building where the hostel is located has buses such as Line 22, Line 2, Line 21, Line 30, Line 42, and Line 65, which run to Chikan District, Mazhang District, Potaou District, Zhanjiang Railway Station, Mazhang Railway Station, Wanda Plaza, and Huaduhui Mall. The nearby Xihaiyang Road bus stop has Route 16 buses that directly reach Jinshawan Beach. Meiyun Youth Hostel looks forward to your visit.
"The first time I went out to travel and live in this youth hostel, in Jirong International Plaza, next to Starbucks, the overall experience is very good! Downstairs there is Starbucks Michelle Ice City McDonald's, etc. The elevator goes out and turns right to the fishing port park and the clock tower punching point. All the way down are the sea view promenade and the sea view road. The bay sea view is beautiful and very good. The hostel is fully equipped, hair dryer, washing machine, water dispenser are free, as well as towels and bath towels. The boss and the front desk sister are very hospitable and the service is very thoughtful. The only minor flaw is that the hot water is always intermittent when taking a bath. It should be that the high water pressure on the floor is unstable. I hope that this facility can be improved in the future!"

The hot water for the bath is particularly good. Go out for a day and take a comfortable hot bath. The price is super high."

From the timely pick-up service, to the efficient check-in at the front desk, to the quiet environment of the room, and finally to the sufficient parking space, every link makes people feel worry-free and comfortable. The hotel obviously listened to the opinions of the guests, and did very well, the room was very quiet, I asked the front desk to know that the original hotel did a comprehensive sound insulation in September 2025, it had to be great, give the hotel a thumbs up, this hotel is worth recommending.

GGuest UserThe room is very spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling windows directly see the busy traffic in the city. It is very convenient to have a washing machine. The cleaning sister is professional and diligent, clean and comfortable. The front desk lady is warm and thoughtful, and the overall price is first-class. The nearby catering service industry is extremely developed, dazzling, and food is everywhere. Very satisfied with this trip, come to Leizhou for a business trip, you must continue to live!

GGuest User還沒打准考證的時候我就提前訂了房間，當天中午到他和我說沒有我的訂單號，後來認真查了，原來他們給我的訂單點了入住，所以沒有給我留房。（也就是說我人還沒到他們就提前點了入住）他們後來解決的方案是給我收拾一間他們平時偶爾休息不對外開放的客房，當時附近全都沒房了，我就認了。整體來說衛生環境很差，被子很薄有味道，被套被煙頭燙了一個洞，房間裏還有股味道，那些犄角旮旯是泛黃的。不知道是給我的房間是這樣子還是所有的房間都是這樣子。男老闆的服務態度是很好的，積極解決問題，態度打滿分，但是以後工作人員還需認真核對信息，環境有待加強。祝生活愉快！
