"This is a well-located hostel, very close to the metro, making it especially convenient for getting to the Louvre and the Eiffel Tower. There's an Auchan supermarket right by the metro station, with a wide variety of items; I even found dried noodles and soy sauce there. A special mention goes to the market held right outside on Tuesdays and Fridays, offering all sorts of snacks, including rice and stir-fried noodles. The hostel kitchen is excellent, equipped with various cups and plates, two ovens, two microwaves, and a powerful four-burner induction hob. It has a good selection of Western-style pots and pans, great for cooking, and there's also an electric kettle. The beds are standard, the bathroom is tiny, and the shower stall is particularly cramped. Overall, it's pretty decent; everyone is quite friendly, and the surrounding area feels safe, so going out at night isn't an issue. Across the street, there's a pharmacy and a bakery, making it a very convenient neighborhood to live in. It's also at most a 20-minute walk to Gare de Lyon; I walked both ways, even arriving at 11:30 PM, and felt perfectly safe the entire walk."
