"The room is tiny, just right for one person; any more and you'd be fighting for space. My 28-inch suitcase couldn't stay open, but there was room to store it when closed. There's hardly any staff around, which actually made for a very relaxed stay. The location is decent; if you're up for a walk, you can get to Shinsaibashi in less than half an hour. The closest subway station is about 500 meters away, a straight shot. There's a FamilyMart right next door, which is super convenient. The soundproofing isn't great, but the hot water in the bathroom was perfect for a bath."

"The location is very convenient, right in front of Zoo-mae Station and within walking distance to Tennoji. The room was very simple, just a tatami mat. My room had ventilation, but the heater wasn't working, so the room was quite cold. The restroom was shared by both genders, and there was only one... The shower situation was the most inconvenient. Women could only use the bathroom for one hour, from 9-10 PM. Because there are more male guests, men had a longer shower time (5-9 PM)."

"Excellent value for money! Great location 4 min walk from subway station and 2 minutes walk from bus stop. Clean bathroom, toilets and powder room despite its high occupancy during new year eve and long weekend. Friendly English speaking staffs at reception , Breakfast, towels, slippers and safety box with key are provided free. There are face cleansing products and face lotion provided in shower and powder room too. Many k-beauty products are available to try for free on request basis , I tried the collagen machine for free as well. Overall I’d rate it 9.5 over 10. It’d be good if check out time can be extended to 11am and breakfast time to 10.30am."

"The hotel's location is quite good, right next to Shijō Station. The nearest exit is about a five-minute walk away. The breakfast in the morning was decent; they provided a plate that was enough to fill me up, and also offered coffee and tea. The front desk staff spoke English, so communication was smooth. Guests of various ethnicities stayed at the hotel. However, the triple room had issues with unstable water temperature, and every time I wanted hot water, I had to let it run for a long time. The last person to shower in the evening couldn't take one due to the water temperature, which was quite disappointing."

"The locationn is very close to shopping areas such as Namba, Shinsaibashi, and Kuromon Market. There's also a large, inexpensive supermarket nearby, located behind the building. The accommodation is clean, towels, liquid soap, and shampoo are provided. The bed is a good size, not too narrow. My room was on the second floor and had limited space for luggage. There's a corner outside the room with tea and coffee service and a refrigerator, but it's quite cramped. You can buy food and heat it up there. Because the accommodation doesn't have much common space, you need to be mindful of noise levels."

"The location is great and convenient for transportation! The staff are very friendly and patient. Even though my English isn’t very good, they still answer my questions carefully. The room is clean and tidy, with fresh bedding. There’s no strange smell, and the facilities are complete—just unpack and move in. The shared kitchen is absolutely wonderful. The location is excellent, close to many attractions. The luggage storage service after check-out was a good experience.棒，下次去大阪还会再去。"

"I stayed for 5 days in Osaka and I booked a private bedroom with private bath on trip.com, and on the night I checked-in to the hotel I was first assigned to a bedroom that literally had a shower (bath) BUT NO toilet. I had to show the receptionist my booking description which reads “private bathroom” and they switched me to a room it’s the full bathroom with a mini tub. Just take note when you book the room that they do have different type of rooms including one with a shower but no toilet. The new room I was assigned was fine, clea bedding and all, with a small fridge and hairdryer . The location of the hotel is both good and bad, good the good is that it’s in a convenient location to attractions and shopping centers, walking distance to the Osaka Castle and Shinsaibashi, but the bad is that it is right next to a very busy highway, literally right under the bridge. Had I known this I probably would pay a bit more and go with a different hotel. But, if price is your priority and you don’t mind being next to the highway then there isn’t much to complain about. Staff are helpful and the hotel is generally well kept."

"The female staff was really super friendly. I didn't even know that it had been transferred to post-payment, so I had a lot of trouble paying at the accommodation, but they waited for me and tried to resolve it somehow, which was really nice. When I came back after going out, they even left me this note, which touched me ㅠㅠ If I go to Osaka again, I want to use it again. The accommodation was clean and very close to the station, so I had no trouble finding my way. I highly recommend it."

"The hostel is located in a quiet neighborhood, with a small temple nearby that adds to the charm of the area. There’s also a cozy home-run bar just downstairs, which gives the place a welcoming, local feel. The rooms and common areas were extremely clean, which made the stay very comfortable. Overall, a peaceful and well-kept place with a nice local touch."

"I had a wonderful stay at White Hostel Shinsaibashi! From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded expectations. Cleanliness: The hostel was spotless. The rooms, bathrooms, and common areas were consistently clean and well-maintained. You can really tell that they prioritize hygiene, which made our stay very comfortable and stress-free. Location: The location is perfect—very convenient and close to Shinsaibashi Station, shopping streets, convenience stores, and great restaurants. It’s easy to explore Osaka from here, especially popular areas like Dotonbori. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Service: The staff were friendly, accommodating, and professional. They were always willing to help with directions and recommendations, which made our trip smoother. Check-in and check-out were quick and hassle-free. One thing we really appreciated was that we were allowed to leave our luggage near the reception area before check-in and even after check-out. This gave us the freedom to roam around and explore without carrying heavy bags or spending extra money on coin lockers. It was a huge convenience! Amenities: The facilities were excellent for a hostel. The beds were comfortable, and the common areas were cozy and functional. Just a small note—towels are not free, so it’s better to bring your own. If needed, you can rent one for 200 yen. The internet connection did cut off from time to time, but it wasn’t a deal breaker and didn’t affect our overall experience. Overall, this accommodation definitely deserves a 5-star rating. It offers great value for money, a fantastic location, and a welcoming atmosphere. I would absolutely stay here again on my next visit to Osaka!"
