"⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Stay at Cafe & Hostel Kimi to Ichigo I had a wonderful stay at Cafe & Hostel Kimi to Ichigo and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Osaka. From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly accommodating, friendly, and helpful. They made the check-in process smooth and were always available whenever I had questions throughout my stay. The hostel offers check-in from 3:00 PM and check-out at 10:00 AM. One feature I especially appreciated was that guests are still welcome to use the spacious common area until 8:00 PM after check-out. This is incredibly convenient if you have a late departure, need a place to rest after shopping, or simply want to relax before heading to the airport or station. The facility itself is clean, modern, and very well-maintained. One of my favorite features was the large common area, which provided a comfortable space to relax, work, eat, or socialize with other guests. The common area also offers complimentary hot and cold water, as well as tea, which was a thoughtful touch and a nice way to unwind after a day of exploring the city. The bathrooms and toilets were spotless throughout my stay. The shower rooms were equipped with all the necessary amenities, and the sinks and vanity area were spacious, making it easy to get ready without feeling crowded. I stayed in the all-female dormitory, which felt very safe and secure since it remained locked at all times. The bunk beds were surprisingly spacious and comfortable, providing plenty of room for a good night’s sleep. The Wi-Fi was strong and reliable throughout the hostel, making it easy to stay connected. For those looking for an affordable breakfast option, the hostel offers breakfast for around ¥500, which is both practical and reasonably priced. The hostel also provides convenient luggage storage services. Guests can leave their luggage before check-in and after check-out, making it easy to continue exploring the city without carrying heavy bags around. Long-term travelers will appreciate the laundry facilities. A washing machine is available for ¥200 per cycle (30 minutes), and detergent can be purchased for ¥50 per packet. I personally recommend using two packets of detergent if you have a larger load and want your clothes to smell fresher. A dryer is available for ¥100 per 30 minutes, but if you’re washing several days’ worth of clothes like I did during my four-night stay, I would suggest allowing around two hours of drying time. One thing future guests should note is that towels are not provided free of charge, so it’s a good idea to bring your own. However, towels can be rented at the hostel for ¥200 if needed. The location is another major advantage. The hostel is only about a 7-minute walk from Namba Station and other nearby train stations. Dotonbori, countless shops, restaurants, convenience stores, and entertainment spots are all within easy walking distance, making it an excellent base for exploring Osaka. Overall, Cafe & Hostel Kimi to Ichigo offers excellent value for money, outstanding cleanliness, great facilities, and warm hospitality. Whether you’re a solo traveler or visiting with friends, it’s a comfortable, safe, and welcoming place to stay. I would happily stay here again on my next trip to Osaka."

"Service is very nice and helpful. I got a lot of tips that were very valuable to me. Near the metro line. Shower is provided only for women with excellent cosmetics for people who care for the skin. I recommend. If I ever welcome to Osaka, I'll be sure to come back."

"I've stayed in two hostels in Osaka, the other being Acro Capsule. Both are quite close in location, with Acro right next to Dotonbori. At this hostel, the front desk on the first floor has Japanese and Indian staff. The first floor also features shoe lockers (where you take off your shoes), a dining area (with breakfast), and the front desk provides disposable slippers, bath towels, and hand towels. The female dorms have separate showers, makeup areas, and toilets, and all essential disposable toiletries are provided. Inside the room, the beds are on the left, and on the right is a luggage storage 'area' (not a wardrobe) with a small safe for valuables. Acro has a more convenient location; there's a Don Quijote within a 1-2 minute walk, and it's closer to Dotonbori. The accommodation conditions at both places are comparable. At Acro, luggage storage is outside the room. There are individual lockers, but they are very narrow. Suitcases and backpacks need to be placed on a nearby luggage rack, which doesn't have a lock."

"I found the room to be quite clean, and the self-check-in process was very smooth. I have no issues with the host/establishment at all. It's also pretty close to the subway. The only downside is that it can get a bit noisy when there are more people, especially around 11 or 12 at night when some guests are still tidying up or chatting (this is more of a guest issue). If you're looking for a really good night's sleep, I'd still recommend a hotel."

"I had a wonderful two-day stay here. The hygiene was impeccable, and the room was quite spacious. My favorite part was the communal kitchen in the common area. I wasn't quite used to Japanese food, so it was a lifesaver that the kitchen was fully equipped. I could prepare my own meals."

"[Not worth it if over 300 yuan per night] Hygiene: It's clean, but compared to hotels and hostels in Japan, I'd say the hygiene level is average. Environment: The overall space is quite small. The corridors and toilets are all quite tiny. The beds are bunk beds, and the ceiling height isn't very generous either. Service: The service was just so-so. The person who checked me in was *********, and their attitude was a bit cold."

"Was a good hostel with comfy beds and plenty of room. Common area is spacious with cooking appliances which is good. Staff are so so lovely! I read many reviews about the train running across it but do not take these lightly!! I’m pretty good at sleeping through snoring, parties etc but the train is so insanely loud and the entire hostel shakes. I would sleep solidly from 12-5 then wake up every couple of minutes as the trains started again."

"The room was spacious and the neighborhood was quiet, yet not too far from the subway station. Wandering through the small streets felt very much like being in Japan. The front desk staff was incredibly patient and communicated with me using a translator. The bathroom and shower were very clean. However, it's worth noting that this room only has a private shower, not a private toilet."

"The location is great, easy to find. Lots of shopping and eateries in Tennoji. It is also directly accessible by JR Haruka if you are coming from KIX. The tatami room we booked was spacious and comfortable. Lots of space to lay out and hang our things. Check-in was straightforward, front desk was polite and helpful. There was smell of cigarettes near the lift, but we were happy that the room and corridor did not."

"It's in a good location near to Nippombashi and Shinsaibashi metro. Bed was comfortable and spacious, showers are clean and well maintained. It's good except that it seems like there are travelers or resident living in the dorm which are weird and strange in my opinion."
