"Stylish hostel with a cool, youthful vibe. Big shoutout to the staff - genuinely friendly and professional, from security to reception, which really sets the tone.
The room is exactly as expected: AC works great, quiet and keeps a comfortable temperature. There are nice areas for working and chilling. The fire pit spot is a nice touch, looks cozy and well-designed. Also liked the hidden entrance to the bathroom, pretty creative.
Lockers are big and convenient, though I don’t get why some guests just leave their stuff on the floor instead of using them - kinda ruins the look. Each bed has two outlets and a light, mattress is on the firmer side, which I personally liked.
Showers are clean, semi-transparent doors are… an interesting choice :)
Cons: no ashtrays in common areas, there was a puddle under the sink - kills the vibe. No shelves in the showers, which is inconvenient. The view facing the gas station could be improved with some plants.
There’s a small deposit for towels and the bed.
If you position this as a boutique hostel, here’s what would level it up:
• add paper towels near sinks
• include basics like towels, slippers, toiletries for free
• use proper aroma diffusers that match the interior
•make showers and toilets more private (right now feels like a mall setup)
•mosquito control is a must
•fix the gap between the bed and the door
Then the price would feel fully justified. Right now it feels slightly overpriced: it looks like part of a high-end hotel, but the details don’t fully match. Also, the location isn’t exactly central - there’s a mall, riverfront, and a nice bridge nearby, but the beach is about a 35-minute walk.
Pro tip: there’s an ATM, fuel station (including for e-bikes), and a small food spot literally 5 meters away."
