"This hotel is quite close to Wendu Water City and features a Chinese-style design with a lovely environment. There's even a small park called Xiushui Lake in the middle. The room was a good size – not too big, not too small – and beautifully decorated with relatively new facilities. The hot springs are conveniently located downstairs with four different pools, just a short walk away. You can enjoy them both day and night, which is really comfortable. Breakfast was also good, though the restaurant is a bit small. If it gets crowded, you might have to wait a bit. It's busiest around 9 AM, so I recommend going a little earlier or later for a better experience. The hotel has a small gym, but some space was taken up by a Hanfu experience area. I suggest the hotel maintains the gym better, adds some small fitness equipment like dumbbells, and ensures it's clean, tidy, and relatively spacious. People often like to work out even when they're on vacation."

"Beijing Wangfujing Courtyard with Private Hot Spring and Japanese Zen Garden Location: Nestled in a hutong off Dengshikou, it's quite unassuming from the outside. Very close to the subway station and not far from the main road, so getting a ride-hailing car is easy. Room Amenities: I stayed in the audio-visual room. It had a private hot spring tub, which was a good depth and size, and the water temperature was stable. You could look out at the courtyard from the window, creating a great ambiance - ̗̀(๑ᵔ⌔ᵔ๑) Room Size: The room was genuinely spacious. It's quite surprising to find such a large room and courtyard in an area where every inch is so valuable. Value for Money: At nearly 1000 RMB during the off-peak season, I think it was pretty good value, especially considering the private hot spring and the beautiful Japanese zen garden. WiFi: Quite strong and smooth. Service: The staff had a good attitude and were very responsive to requests."

"The staff is friendly, when one of them saw that my daughter's slipper did for her foot, he proactively offered another pair to her. Have daily housekeeping service and breakfast was included. "Advantages: It is quite convenient to drive here, with plenty of parking spaces and charging stations. The hotel service is very good. The platform shows that we can check in at 3 o'clock. We arrived at 12:30. I wanted to try it and it was done quickly. The room is very clean and well-equipped. Children's slippers are provided separately for children. The view outside the window is very good, and there is a spring scene downstairs. The hot spring pool of this room type is separated from the room, on the opposite side, and two room cards are given for easy opening. Bath balls and disposable bath bags are given. The hot water is very fast, and the cold water tap has to be pressed for a long time. It is more comfortable to take a bath outdoors in this season, and it will not be stuffy. You can also look at the stars when you take a bath at night, which is very atmospheric. There is a little fisherman next to it, you can take the children to fish, and there is also a picking garden, where you can pick some fresh vegetables, strawberries, and eggs. Huazhu Club members sent breakfast, which tasted OK. Disadvantages: There is always a faint smell of smoke in the room, and I don't know where it comes from."

"The ski package this week was such a great deal! Had two fantastic days on the slopes. The hotel itself is quite nice, and the breakfast, which was included, offered a decent variety. The central air conditioning kept the room comfortably around 23℃. It's a bit of a walk from the lobby, but you can call the front desk for a shuttle. You can access the outdoor hot springs from the B1 level. Storing your ski equipment in the lobby is convenient as it saves you a lot of walking. They even have hot tea in the lobby, which was a lovely touch. Overall, a really good experience, though it's a shame this affordable package won't be available next week."

"Hotel located in quiet area. Staff don’t speak English but we felt welcomed and service was warm. As a foreigner be ready that to use a hot spring you need to undress fully. The room had a big plasma TV with big selection of movies. Bed comfortable and nice. We had a nice time. Thank you"

"I booked two rooms, one as part of a package and one regular. The hotel called ahead to let me know check-in was at 3 PM. When we arrived, the front desk upgraded our rooms, and they were quite spacious. There were some incredibly thoughtful details: my mother had forgotten her charging cable, but then, to our pleasant surprise, she found the hotel had provided three different charging cables right on the nightstand! Just that alone made us so happy. The bathroom also thoughtfully included disposable toilet seat covers! The room even had a dedicated area with teaware for brewing Gongfu tea! Since my mother is older, we didn't plan to go to the hot springs in our room. Instead, we just walked around and had dinner. We asked for directions twice, and the staff kindly escorted us. When they saw us looking for water, they brought some over enthusiastically. The next morning, while having tea, I felt so grateful – thank you very much! My child went to the hot springs and was very satisfied with the environment. The temperature throughout was perfect, allowing you to wear short sleeves without catching a cold, and the various hot spring pools had different temperatures to suit everyone's needs! A special shout-out to the Langlizi buffet restaurant. The selection was comprehensive. Although we seniors couldn't eat much, everything we wanted was there, and the group purchase price was very affordable! Since it wasn't a weekend, it wasn't crowded at all, which was very satisfying. The restaurant staff were also very dedicated. I'd give this hotel a perfect score. As it was our first time staying here, we didn't realize that Xishan Hot Spring Hotel and Langlizi were the same establishment. We had to search for parking for a while, so I hope the hotel can inform first-time guests about this. Free parking is a huge plus! Overall, we were extremely satisfied! Oh, and there was also a small snack platter upon check-in, thank you!"

"Chestnut Village is very quiet during the off-season with very few people around. You can hear the sounds of lambs and birds in the mountains, which is incredibly therapeutic! Plus, the price for a stay at Chestnut Village Qinran Homestay is really low right now, much cheaper than peak season. Each room also comes with a complimentary breakfast for every guest. The staff at the cafe and restaurant are all super friendly and provide excellent service!"

"The location was easy to find. It was quieter since it is situated a little away from the activities at the base. However it is at the entrance of the Great Wall tram gate, so very convenient for an early start, or an evening tour of the Wall. My stay was midweek over Christmas and the whole town was relatively quiet. This meant the Hot Springs were also quiet which was spectacular! The rooms were a little chilly at night, but a soak in the springs and a little peach blossom wine solved it. I highly recommend this Inn. They were happy to use their translation apps to answer any questions."
