"This hotel is perfectly located, just about a 5-minute walk from Haneda T3 terminal! If you're arriving by flight, you'll find it on the Arrivals (到着) level. If you're coming from the city via the Keikyu line, head to the Arrivals level first. Look for HANEDA AIRPORT GARDEN/羽田空港花园 (as shown in pictures 2-3), go inside, and just keep walking straight. There are many shops along the way, perfect for picking up souvenirs. Eventually, you'll see a Lawson convenience store, and the hotel lobby is right behind it. The distinctive decorative pillar (as shown in picture 5) is quite beautiful~ The room wasn't huge, but we only had one 30-inch suitcase for two people, and we were able to open it and place it comfortably. We chose this hotel because we had an early flight the next morning and didn't want to get up early in the city. Plus, you can enjoy the hot springs (public bath)! As someone from the south, this was my second time trying a naked hot spring experience after Yangzhou, and I even got to drink the milk that's often seen in anime after a hot spring bath – truly a dimension-breaking experience. In summary, this hotel is indeed excellent in all aspects and highly recommended for business travelers! What I especially want to share and praise is the hotel's service – it's incredibly humane and considerate! When checking in, you can use the self-service machine – it supports Chinese, just scan your passport and fill in your information. The room provides wet/dry slippers, toiletries, and even loungewear/pajamas if you plan to visit the hot springs. We had a last-minute request to add a person to our room (a friend who was with us at the hot springs couldn't get back to their accommodation in the city due to a Yamanote Line service disruption that day). The hotel doesn't seem to have triple rooms, and there was no space for an extra bed in our current room, but the front desk, even late at night, responded very promptly and responsibly to our request. Ultimately, they moved us to a slightly larger room and added a bed! While we waited, they proactively contacted us to update us on the progress and estimated waiting time – honestly, if my colleagues at work were this reliable, I'd have no worries! All in all, my stay at Villa Fontaine this time far exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely lean towards choosing this place again when I visit Japan in the future! P.S. Before booking, I saw on Xiaohongshu that this hotel has a seal-themed room, but I couldn't find it anywhere on Ctrip, or even on their official website 😢"

"This was my first stay at Toyoko Inn, and this particular branch seems to have just opened in 2026. The room was quite spacious and the facilities were new, with a view of the Skytree. They offer free laundry machines (washer/dryer), and it's very close to Akabane Station with many shops around. The only minor drawback is that the breakfast area is a bit small and can get crowded, but the free breakfast itself was decent. I'd definitely come back again."

"As clean as it gets for a dated hotel. Truly needs refurbishment. Location is alright, shuttle bus provided for town access. Service as expected of Japanese hotel standard. Nice hotel garden with onsen. However please note, this is the first 4-star hotel that provided me with only 2 pillow for my room. Additional pillow requires charges. Though I booked for 2 adults and 2 kids."

"This is my fourth stay at Edoya – I'm a loyal fan! The large public bath, complimentary breakfast, and excellent location are major plusses. It's conveniently close to the University of Tokyo and Yushima Tenmangu Shrine. With several subway stations within a 15-minute walk, getting to/from Haneda or Narita for early or late flights almost never requires a taxi. These are all the benefits I can think of. Unless something unexpected happens, I'll definitely choose Edoya again for my next trip to Tokyo. I noticed a sign at the entrance saying the hotel was established in 1967. I hope it grows into a century-old establishment – keep up the fantastic work!"

"As a frequent traveler to Japan, I'm quite familiar with Japanese hotels. While the room was small (which is typical for hotels in great locations), it cleverly featured bunk beds, and surprisingly, the beds were quite spacious. It was perfectly fine even with kids! The location is absolutely fantastic. As soon as you step out, there are tons of menus everywhere, and you can walk to anything you want to eat. Ueno itself is a place where you'll never struggle to find food, and personally, I think it's hard to go wrong – everything is delicious. You'll feel like your mouth and stomach aren't big enough! Although the price went up for the last two days, it was understandable given the season and crowd. After all, the location is the value. The photos below are from my previous visits, feel free to check them out and ask any questions! 🙋‍♀️"

"Check-in took an incredibly long time. The front desk staff kept saying 'Let me check for you,' and it ended up being a full 30 minutes. "Our stay at The Prince Park Tower Tokyo was excellent overall. The environment was quiet and elegant, and the views were stunning 🗼, truly giving us that Tokyo city getaway feel. For Tokyo, the room was quite spacious and very comfortable, with the view being a major plus – we could see the Tokyo Tower, and it was especially beautiful when lit up at night. The hotel's cleanliness was impeccable, and attention to detail was evident. We were also very satisfied with the service; the staff were friendly and efficient. Amazing
GGuest UserIt was our first time staying at Hotel Villa Fontaine Premier Haneda Airport, as we usually stayed at the adjacent Villa Fontaine Hotel. The Premier property definitely feels more upscale and refined. Check-in was smooth and pleasant. Unlike the sister hotel next door, the front desk here is staffed with courteous and attentive personnel. Since we arrived before the official check-in time, we left our luggage with the staff and went shopping. Upon returning, our suitcases—and another one delivered by Yamato Transport—had already been brought up to our room, which was a very nice touch. We stayed in a Deluxe King River View room. It was spacious, with a large and comfortable bed, a generous washroom featuring a deep bathtub, and a long sofa by the window that was perfect for relaxing or having a quick meal. The air conditioning was quiet and efficient, and the overall room design felt modern yet cozy. The wardrobe wasn’t particularly large but sufficient for coats and travel clothes. We didn’t try the breakfast as we had an early flight at 7 AM, but the convenience store downstairs made it easy to pick up yogurt, fruits, and light snacks. Another charming feature was the aroma pouch-making station in the lobby, where guests can choose from several fragrances — it’s a small but thoughtful detail and a lovely souvenir idea. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hotel’s location couldn’t be more convenient, especially for travellers catching early flights — it took only about 10 minutes to reach our airline’s check-in counter after checking out. The hotel also provides easy access to Tokyo’s major shopping areas like Shibuya and Tokyo Station. We’ll certainly be back on our next visit to Haneda!

Sshadow_zhuI chose La Vista next to Tokyo Bay, having previously stayed at their Hakodate location and been thoroughly impressed by their breakfast. After comparing hotels within central Tokyo, I decided this was the place. The breakfast didn't disappoint, and the service and facilities were also great. Oh, and they offer free ramen from 10 PM! While it's a bit far out – about a 30-minute bus ride to Ginza and at least an hour to other areas by subway – there's a subway station right outside the door, so it's fine if you're not in a hurry. The room size was standard, and there's a hot spring on the top floor where you can see both the Tokyo Skytree and Tokyo Tower. Soaking in the onsen while watching the sunset was amazing.

GGuest UserExtremely satisfied! 1️⃣ The room was very spacious, especially for a Japanese hotel. 2️⃣ It had a Japanese-style design, but without tatami mats. The bathroom featured a wet/dry separation. 3️⃣ There were complimentary soba noodles available from 9:30 PM to 11:00 PM, and they were delicious. 4️⃣ The hotel has a hot spring bath (onsen) with separate facilities for men and women. They also offer free popsicles and lactic acid drinks there. Soaking in the onsen was incredibly relaxing; I used it three times during my two-day stay. 5️⃣ The location is excellent and convenient. It's in Ginza, and you can walk to the bustling main street in about 10 minutes. 6️⃣ I heard the breakfast is also very good, but I didn't book it this time. I'll definitely opt for a breakfast-inclusive stay next time. Overall, I'm very satisfied, and I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

GGuest UserQuite a disappointing stay. I initially thought it was a Dormy Inn because the first characters of the name were the same, and it was also a hot spring hotel, which made it very confusing. The service here was a world apart from Dormy Inn. The room was incredibly small. The breakfast in the pictures looked very rich, and I thought it would be a lavish buffet, but it turned out to be just a bento box, and they didn't even provide cutlery. The price wasn't cheap either. It really ruined my mood. The hot spring was also tiny, and they didn't even provide hair dryers in the hot spring area.

MmtmlCleaning is chargeable at 1.5k yen per clean. Otherwise no cleaning whatsoever - but they do give you new towels and a trash bag daily (hung on your door knob). Breakfast is pretty cute and homely - I liked it when I tried it at a different province, so I rebooked dormy inn. They have a luggage scale at level 2, so very convenient if you have been shopping like crazy. The shopping street around the area is pretty interesting, and I love uneo park. However, some pretty strange stuff during my stay: 1. They insisted on entering my room for an ”inspection” but didn't specify why. When I called to ask, they said it was a bedframe inspection. As a solo female traveler my preference is not to let random people into my room, especially if they're not going to clean after these external people enter, but reception said they couldn't wait until my stay was over a few days later. When I came back to the room, my blanket was shifted and untucked entirely from one side, and my electronics were moved around. 2. A bug appeared on my sink mirror, so I gave feedback to the hotel staff as mini bugs means there's more bugs, and suggested that they fumigate. They said ”oh... sorry” suddenly all proceeded to look away from me and pretend I didn't exist, which was super weird treatment, and very rude lol. I didn't even ask them to change my room, the point is that these bugs are likely to have infestations, and if I came back in another trip to this hotel, I would not like to see more. They didn't even bother asking me what floor I was on, so 100% they don't seem to have any intention of dealing with this. Very weird and poor behaviour - I think it was too much to expect Onyado Nono service in Dormy Inn, so I don't think I will come back.

GGuest UserThis hotel is super convenient! It's just a 3-minute walk from Ariake Station on the Yurikamome Line. However, walking to Odaiba Gundam takes about 35 minutes, so it's best to take the Yurikamome Line there. The hotel's 6th floor is connected to the mall's 5th floor (the Sky Spa is right at the connection point), so you don't even need a coat to go for a meal (on the 5th floor) or shopping (there's a great fresh food supermarket on the 1st floor) – super comfortable!

GGuest UserThis is my second time staying at Dormy Inn, and the hot springs, ramen, Yakult, and ice cream are still available. However, the service is truly disappointing. Since my check-in day happened to be my birthday, I emailed the hotel to inquire about a possible room upgrade, but received no response. When I asked about the unanswered email during check-in, the first English-speaking staff member seemed dismissive. Then, a Chinese-speaking receptionist told me that even for a birthday, they only offer a small card and nothing else. Alright, I guess I had high hopes. They directly gave me a corner room where the window opened up to a wall. I stayed for four nights. On the morning of the third day, I explicitly requested housekeeping, but when I returned, only the towels had been replaced; even the trash can wasn't emptied. Because I used a Trip.com voucher, the price was discounted. If this is why the service was poor, I hope the platform and the hotel can communicate better. If they can't handle promotions, they shouldn't offer them. Am I being discriminated against for using a voucher, or is it because I'm Chinese? The breakfast was overpriced and low quality. When I asked a staff member if they had wasabi, they said no. Can you believe that? In the room, you can't even tell if it's sunny or rainy outside. Judge for yourself.
