"Such a wonderful, peaceful stay, with the most friendly and helpful English speaking hosts! Kindhearted owner Liuting (Eva) cooked us very tasty vegetarian meals, and her partner Dima gave us some lovely travel recommendations in the region. Liutings brother and sister were also very sweet. Nuodeng is the perfect combination of nature (nice walks in and around the village) and culture (old temples, beautiful old houses and stairs- it's smart to bring a backpack instead of suitcase). Also very suitable to work away from home for a few days: strong wifi and plenty of little work spaces up and downstairs in the property, with the most beautiful views over the valley. The cute animal companions made our stay complete: I loved the cat cuddles, and dog Xiaohua even joined us on multiple walks. On our departure day, Liuting helped us so much with organising a shared taxi too. And on top of everything: the food and stay was so affordable, great value for money. We hope to come back one day!"

"It’s a great location, situated in the CBD of the ancient town, making it convenient to get anywhere on foot. The bedding, décor, and service were all extremely satisfactory. Initially booked a standard view room, but upon arrival, the room type was upgraded. Thank you so much! There was nothing to complain about during this trip. We would be willing to come back to Nodeng next year just for this place. Before leaving, we had to ask the landlady to send out some packages, and it was handled swiftly. The recommended food was also delicious. We stayed for two nights, and the breakfasts varied each day, showing great attention to detail. Every day, we chatted with the owners, explored the town, indulged in local cuisine, and enjoyed the scenery – it was a wonderful experience."

"The view of the inn is super beautiful! The lady and her family are all very kind, gentle, and their cooking skills are great! We were lucky enough to catch freshly killed local chicken and stewed it with mushrooms. Oops, it was super delicious! The raw ham was paired with fairy mint and cherry tomatoes. I couldn't stop eating, and the two of them finished a large portion. The young lady was afraid that our food would be too salty, so she specially made mint tea for us 🍵 It was delicious! The B&B is easy to find. It’s right next to the big green tree, halfway up the mountain. The scenery is super beautiful. Whether it’s sunset or morning light, it’s a worthwhile trip! Good food, good accommodation and good looks!"

"Staying in Nuodeng was truly one of the highlights of our one-month journey through China. The house is perfectly located, right next to the few charming restaurants and cafés of the village, and offers breathtaking views over the valley and the ancient rooftops of Nuodeng. What made this stay unforgettable, however, were the incredible hosts. Their kindness, daily attentions, and constant smiles touched our hearts deeply. Our children absolutely loved spending time with them, and it felt like being welcomed into a family rather than simply renting a room. The rooms themselves are beautifully arranged and practical, with different options to suit families or groups of all sizes. Everything was thoughtfully prepared to make our stay as comfortable as possible. "Satisfaction beyond expectations, the whole is very new and there is no smell. The bedding is comfortable and the bathroom is large. There is a parking location in front of the door, which is convenient for self-driving. The boss is warm and kind. It is about 20 minutes from the parking lot of the Nuodeng Ancient Village Visitor Center. It is a good choice not to live in the ancient village. It is highly recommended."
