Hotels in Railway Station Area, Kunming

This hotel has a very modern decor, which is a shame because it's right next to a main road. It was incredibly noisy at night, making it hard to sleep with all the traffic. The worst part was being woken up by those loud motorbikes. The room itself felt a bit dated, and I noticed quite a few imperfections that made me a little uncomfortable. The hallway was also quite dim, which I wasn't a fan of. Service was just okay; the front desk staff were rather formulaic and unremarkable. I also found a large bag of *cough* 'adult' items in the room, which made me blush a bit – I guess I might have misunderstood the hotel's vibe. I wouldn't really recommend it for tourists.

Pretty good! The room was spacious and the bed was huge. The view from the window was charming and the soundproofing was excellent. The only downside was that multiple hotels shared the same elevators, but the value for money completely made up for this drawback. Recommended!

I loved the place. The location is pretty convenient to get to all major attractions. There is also a relatively big 24/7 convenient store on the first floor and dome places to ear nearby. The room is spacious- I especially loved high ceilings. But the best thing is a tea-place with panorama windows- it is really lovely to have a rest at this place, overviewing the city and mountains. The service and breakfast are also quite nice. I enjoyed the cosmetics and tea offered by the hotel - really good staff. The cleaning service was very decent - daily refills of mini-bar and tea, throughly washing and vacuuming, towels change. I would really love to stay here the next time I visit Kunming

This is a well-established five-star hotel in the area, once famous as Kunming's tallest building. During my holiday travels, I passed through Kunming and was deciding between a hotel in a scenic area and the Grand Park Hotel. Considering the potential noise in the scenic area, I chose the latter, and I'm so glad I made that smart decision. The front desk staff were incredibly warm, attentive, and thoughtful. We had a lot of luggage, and we were fortunate enough to get an upgrade to a corner suite, which completely alleviated our concerns about space. Both the public areas and the rooms are decorated in a simple yet elegant and stylish manner. The materials used are solid, and the maintenance is impeccable, so it doesn't feel old at all. It truly lives up to its five-star rating. The room offered expansive views, excellent soundproofing, and was spotlessly clean. The bedding was comfortable and soft against the skin, and the hot water supply was quick and abundant. Coming back after a day of sightseeing and enjoying a relaxing bath in the tub was just perfect. The location is right next to a subway station, with a direct one-stop ride to the high-speed rail. To the north, it's just one transfer to the Wuyi Road scenic area and commercial district, and to the east, one transfer to the airport. Taxis are also very convenient. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive. My trip was rushed this time, so I didn't have a chance to experience the pool or other amenities. If I get the opportunity to visit Kunming again, I will definitely choose Grand Park Hotel!

Facilities: Well-equipped, with a projector so you can watch whatever you like. Cleanliness: Clean and tidy. Environment: Very close to the train station, with a great surrounding area and good views. Service: Good. Stayed for two consecutive nights, and it was convenient for getting around.

Stayed here for a midnight check-in during my Yunnan trip and had a very pleasant experience. The lady staff at the reception was very helpful, polite and welcoming even though I arrived very late. The hotel is very new, clean and comfortable. Room size was surprisingly big and spacious. Location is also convenient, especially being near the train station which made travelling much easier.Would definitely stay here again.

The hotel located near tourist attractions, making it easy to go on foot. The room was spacious and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Since we can't speak Chinese, they contacted us with a translation app. The breakfast was excellent with a wide variety of choices. I suggest everyone to try crossing-the-bridge noodle. They also offer tea in the afternoon and desserts in the evening. Along the way from the hotel to Kunming old street you can see local lives. We saw groups playing chess right in front of the hotel, giving a vintage atmosphere. The only thing i'd like the hotel to improve is that the water in the shower wasn't hot enough.

Kun Hotel, MixC Mall branch, boasts an excellent location right next to MixC Mall, making shopping and dining incredibly convenient. The hotel environment is elegant and serene, with clean, odor-free rooms. The decor is simple yet sophisticated, and the soft bedding ensures a particularly restful sleep. The front desk service is gentle and attentive, and the hygiene is impeccably maintained. My stay here was a perfect experience; it's a must-choose when visiting Kunming!

The location is incredibly convenient, making it super easy to get to Kunming Station – no need to rush for your train. Public transport around is also great, perfect for getting out and exploring. We got a room on a high floor with an amazing view, and the owner even upgraded us! We could take in the whole city night view, which really set a fantastic atmosphere. For this price point, the hotel rooms are well-equipped, and having a laundry room is a thoughtful touch for travelers. It offers excellent value for money, making for a comfortable and convenient stay. Highly recommend!
