Hotels near Freyung Square, Vienna

"The location is very convenient and travel-friendly, with many attractions within walking distance. The rooms are quite spacious, which is great for luggage. The service was standard, nothing bad to report. There are also restaurants nearby. The only downside is that the hotel's shampoo isn't very good; my hair felt strange and didn't seem clean after washing. I recommend bringing your own, along with your own slippers."

"We stayed at Simm’s Hotel in Vienna last weekend for business and were very satisfied with the overall experience. The hotel is modern, clean, and efficiently organized. The room was spacious, quiet, and well-equipped, providing a comfortable environment to rest and work. The location is very convenient, with a metro station directly next to the hotel, allowing quick and easy access to the city center and business areas. Breakfast was of very good quality, offering a solid and varied selection. The service was professional, courteous, and efficient throughout our stay. Check-in and check-out were smooth and well handled. Overall, Simm’s Hotel is a reliable and comfortable choice for business travelers in Vienna. We would gladly stay here again."

"Good service"

"Hotel isn’t too far from the airport. The hotel receptionist was still available to check me in just before 12 midnight. The front desk staff were nice and helpful all through my stay. The hotel was warm and cosy but there were times it was a bit too warm and there wasn’t an AC to turn on. The bathroom was nice and clean, water pressure was great. The bed was comfortable and clean. I had a lovely view of another building across my room. The only thing was the rug having either stain patches or white patches (stains irritate me). The wardrobe hangers need to be improved. I get that it’s an old hotel but it’s still in good condition. They offered storage after check out which was a good add on. You can walk to some attractions from the hotel and public transportation isn’t far from it either. Overall I had a lovely stay."

"Very good stay in Stephanie’s Hotel. It’s not as old as described and actually the facilities are quite new. Although it’s a bit far from city center, easily to take U4 to get there within 20mins. I like the breakfast very much, local specialties are provided during the breakfast and very good. The staff is very professional and always with smile. The room is clean and quiet, single room is perfect for solo trip. Overall very good and highly recommended!"

"Convenient location, 1 min from train station. The staff are incredibly friendly. Their brand positioning is more like efficient and neat. Very easy check in process. While they have many self check in machines, the staff would come assist you if there’s no other customers waiting for them. There’s not much facility in the room. Not even tea bags are provided and if you need hot water, you needa get it in the lobby. Suitable for transiting but not long stay."

"Facilities: The room has air conditioning and a small fridge. The bed isn't the super soft type you often find in European hotels; it's firmer, more to an Asian preference, and quite comfortable to sleep on. The room size is decent, making for a very comfortable stay. Cleanliness: If you skip a day of housekeeping, you get a free drink at the bar. Environment: It's very close to the train station, just a three-minute walk. Breakfast is simple but sufficient."

"We were only at the hotel for less than 12 hours. Location is great for seeing old town Vienna. Importantly, the hotel provided a taxi booking for a 4 AM departure to the airport. The staff were very helpful. This is a classic old-style hotel with character. We enjoyed the short time we had there."

"I can generally describe it well, service and claims were good."

"Excellent property in a quiet neighborhood and just 2-3 subway stops from Vienna's top attractions. The team at Weltwien was proactive, helpful, and accommodating, even emailing me months in advance to provide me with useful information for checking in/out outside of staffed hours. Checking in myself was a breeze, instructions were sent via Whatsapp. Special mention for Natascha who was a delight to communicate with. The apartment was spacious (large balcony), extremely clean, beautiful, and well equipped (full kitchen with pots and dishwasher). The bathroom was lovely and had a towel radiator. The TV was smart and easy to use. Weltwien is now one of my favourite apartment hotels in Europe! Only complaint was that the bedroom could be brighter (more lights). Laundry rooms are available on 2 floors, with detergent and ironing board provided. Highly recommended."
