"The room was clean, cozy, and had good soundproofing. The bathroom was also spacious and clean. However, a fire alarm went off around midnight, scaring me sleepless. I was too afraid to stay and too afraid to leave. Later, I thought that since the room was on the third floor, jumping out wouldn't be too bad, until the alarm was cleared! I couldn't fall back asleep until morning."

"We had a great stay at Holiday Inn Downtown Toronto! The hotel is conveniently located near the heart of downtown, making it easy to explore nearby restaurants, shops, and attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. The only small downside was the hotel parking, which was a little pricey at $40 per day. However, there are plenty of cheaper parking options nearby, so it wasn’t a major issue. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely stay here again!"

"The room was clean. I had hoped for a room with a bathtub, but it seems to be assigned randomly, so I got a shower-only room. The view wasn't great (I could see a large building under construction), but the room was sunny. There's a restaurant on the first floor which I used for dinner and breakfast before leaving. The portions were generous and the prices reasonable. There was a mini-fridge, but it didn't cool very well. In the mornings, there's self-service coffee and tea in the lobby. I heard there's also a wine service in the evenings, but I didn't get to use it as the timing didn't work out. The location is good, and the surrounding area is safe and relatively clean."

"The location is terrific and very convenient. The iconic landmarks are all within about half an hour's walk. Simple breakfast is provided daily. There are separate sections for working or socialising which are good. Only setback is that it can be quite disruptive if you are a light sleeper. Noises are inevitable given all pods are in the same space."

"Great: 1. Unbeatable location. That stretch of Bloor St W has restaurants, coffee shops, used bookstores (my favorite!), and more. Subway station, streetcars, and a Bike Share Toronto hub just around the corner. Christie Pits park nearby. Incredibly walkable. 2. Clean room and useful amenities. Love that slippers were available from the amenities closet. (Slippers seem to be common in hotels in Asia, so I was delighted to find them here.) 2. Responsive customer service. My room had a small issue (intermittent loud buzzing sound of mysterious origin in the night). When I raised this with the Nomas WhatsApp number, Umesh was responsive and offered to move me into a different room. Thankfully the sound eventually vanished after a couple nights! I have no opinion on: 1. Bellis. I didn't eat at the Bellis bar (mainly because I wanted to check out the other offerings nearby). 2. Lockers. I didn't try the lockers, but they looked useful. I saw someone describe this hotel along the lines of ”it's a bar with hallways and rooms.” Isn't that what all hotels are, ultimately? Could be better: 1. My room was near the washrooms for the bar. At night, shrieky bar customers would congregate near the washrooms to chat. Had to get up to shut the soundproofing hallway door a couple of times. Not too big of a deal because the soundproofing is effective. I'd definitely stay here again!"

"The room was spacious and clean, and the front desk service was decent. It's quite close to the city center, and Eaton Centre is within walking distance. My only complaint is that the heater was very loud; it got cold if you turned it off. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but it was enough to fill you up. It was the same every day, though. It would be great if they could vary it a bit and offer some vegetables!"

"I went to Toronto to play, the location is very good, look at the map, go to a few more famous attractions are very close, there is a subway nearby, you can buy a subway day pass 13 dollars a day to sit casually, including the long tram. The rooms are not big, the facilities are average, and the sanitation is acceptable. The breakfast in the restaurant is fairly plentiful. After all, it is a big city. This price is also satisfactory."

"Excellent experience from check-in to check-out. The hotel is stylish, spotless, and located in a great area. Every staff member I interacted with was welcoming and attentive. A special thank you to Sheyai for going above and beyond to make my graduation trip even more memorable. I truly appreciated the kindness and professionalism. "The shared shower room is *too* shared, meaning there's nowhere to put your personal toiletries. A simple breakfast is provided in the morning, which is nice. I liked that the beds have curtains. It's great that shower towels are provided for free. There's a 24-hour convenience store right out front. However, there are homeless people around 24/7 next to it... It's unnerving when they all stare at me at once... I felt scared both day and night. Some homeless individuals stand by the convenience store door, holding it open, then demand money after opening it for you. I know how to open a door myself, and I never asked them to open it for me... I was sharing a room with someone from a country known for poor hygiene, and they had a strong, unpleasant body odor. It was truly agonizing. My request to switch rooms was not processed, apparently because there were no other rooms available."

"The location is excellent, very close to the subway station. The room is comfortable and clean, with windows that can be opened for fresh air. The host is friendly and polite. Highly recommended for those looking to explore and travel around downtown Toronto.👍👍👍"
