Hotels near The Brick, Edmonton

"The accomodations were great. The staff, accomodating and professionl. However, when I typed my query into my computer asking for accomodations CLOSE to the event I was attending .... well....THAT was not the case. A solid 20 minute drive in a large city with which I am unfamiliar was not fun. In future I will change my search strategy."

"The hotel is ideally located to locations for downtown Edmonton and West Edmonton. The breakfast choice is very good for this standard of hotel. The rooms are spacious and general facilities are good such as gym and pool. There is no bar or food lounge but there are lots of restaurants nearby. What lets it down is that it is quite dated and looking a little wornout/tired. To some degree it is starting to look more Motel than Hotel and impressions are really important. In my view the rooms are in need of a modern renovation. Despite that I would stay again. I dont think it deserves the rating that it has on Trip.com and would put it at 7.5/10."

"It was just a trouble free, comfortable stay with front desk staff that were helpful, flexible and friendly. Great sleep on a good bed with good pillows and *extra treat*: sheets and blankets, not a comforter, which is always my preference. I find with comforters it's hard to regulate temperature because for the most part, they don't breathe at all, so I'll take blankets and sheets, any day. Slept like a baby."

"The staff is friendly, the hotel is comfortable and hygienic, and the bathroom equipment is new. The breakfast is also good, with many choices, and the location is close to West Edmonton Mall, which is only a 10-minute drive away. "

"Been here many times for overnight stays and we appreciate the value of what you've paid for. Something different I just noticed: the breakfast area is not as well kept as before with this younger attendant unlike the older lady before, not proactive as well in refilling food and supplies. Other than that everything's fine."

"The hotel is great overall, but it’s a shame that the hot tub is broken. Saw from previous reviews that it was already out of order for quite a while, looks like the hotel is not planning on fixing it. Other than that, the hotel is great price!"

"Staff are friendly and the location is good! I brought my little dog with me, so I love the room without carpet! The room was big and with free breakfast. For the amenities, they only provided shampoo and conditioner, but no shower gel. And if the hotel can be equipped with a microwave instead of sharing one ok the ground floor, that would be great!"

"Booked the room couple days before but when i arrived at the hotel, our room was given to another guest who the receptionist said had the same name as mine. I dont know how it happened as it is protocol for hotel staff to ask for id for verification. So it took it some time before they they gave us new room and i needed to come back at the front desk the next morning to fix the mix-up that they have caused. The good thing is Trip.com was very helpful and urgent in assisting me with my check-in problem. Trip.com agent went out and beyond the service she provided. And because of that, I will be a loyal Trip.com client."

"We had a great stay at Best Western Plus last weekend during the snow storm. I asked for a hygiene kit from the front desk and she gladly offered the shaver and the cream I desperately needed. I will be back this summer and I will stay at this hotel again"
