**Wonderful Stay at Gaia Hotel Basel!** We had an excellent stay at Gaia Hotel Basel. The hotel's commitment to sustainability was impressive and evident in every detail. Our room was comfortable, well-equipped, and beautifully designed, with thoughtful eco-friendly touches. We loved the delicious breakfast with organic and locally sourced options, and the convenient location near the train station made exploring Basel easy. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always willing to help. Gaia Hotel Basel perfectly combines comfort, sustainability, and great service. We highly recommend it and would happily stay again on our next visit to Basel!

We were usung public transport and this hotel was perfect.  It is only a 2 minute walk from the Central Station.  Plus there was a tram 1/2 block from the hotel that took you downtown.  We were given a “Basel Card” which gave us free transport, even to the airport. In addition, what was called a continental breakfast was much more.  Scrambled eggs, bacon, yogurt, various breads and an excellent coffee machine were all included.

This hotel was a great value for our stopover from France to Zurich, Switzerland. The rooms were clean and quite spacious, with lovely views of the Basel cityscape from the window. The hotel's decor felt very refined and elegant throughout. Breakfast was absolutely fantastic and very plentiful! All the staff were also very friendly and helpful.

Hotel Euter Basel is incredibly convenient, located just a one-minute walk from Basel SBB train, bus, and tram stations. Its distinctive light blue exterior makes it easy to spot. The rooms are very spacious and fully equipped, featuring a mini-fridge, coffee machine, and two complimentary glass bottles of water. The hotel also provides guests with a free public transport card and museum discount vouchers, which are fantastic for sightseeing and saving money. The breakfast is outstanding and very generous. The staff are all extremely polite. I would definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Basel!

Our first visit to the lovely city of Basel and the hotel is well situated on Clarastrasse, which was just a short 10-minute tram ride from the Basel SBB main train station. It is well connected to many parts of the city with the tram stop just a minute from the entrance. There is a Coop supermarket and a nice Klara food court with a great atmosphere for meals on the same stretch. The room was clean, bright and spacious for our family of 2 adults and a 8yo. We slept very well as there was no noise our room faced a residential courtyard. Lastly, kudos to the warm reception we experienced at check-in and check-out. Thank you for an overall lovely 2 nights at the Pullman. We will choose to stay here on our next trip to wonderful Basel.

The hotel is located at a beautiful neighborhood and it is very convenient. On top of that, staffs are very helpful and friendly.

I had a pretty good experience staying at Basel Youth Hostel. The location is convenient, with easy access to public transport and just a short walk to the city center and the Rhine river. The building is modern, clean, and well-designed, with a nice mix of comfort and functionality. The staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth. My room was tidy and quiet, with comfortable beds and good storage space. I also appreciated the free Wi-Fi and the availability of common areas to relax or get some work done. Breakfast was simple but fresh and satisfying — a good start to the day. I also liked the eco-friendly approach the hostel takes, which added to the overall positive impression. Would definitely recommend it to budget travelers looking for a safe, clean, and well-located place to stay in Basel!

Basel is very small, just a 15-minute walk from the city center. This hotel is located on the edge of the city center, making it especially convenient for walking and public transportation. There is a beautiful lady at the front desk, gentle and polite. The room size is probably okay in Europe. Although the facilities are not new, they are very clean. There are capsule coffee in the room and the toiletries are provided by L'Occitane. The hotel is across the road from the Rhine, and there is a street behind the hotel similar to the bustling weekend market.
