"This is a wee gem of a hotel. Close to the old part of town and close to restaurants and bars, well a very short ten minute flat walk. The wonderful thing about this hotel was my room on the sixth floor was absolutely quiet which is a rare thing for a hotel room these days. The room very modern, big TV, toiletries and even free laundry ,8 pieces a day not included is underwater and socks. Breakfast is adequate with fresh fruits,cereal yoghurt and a large range of Asian dishes. You won't go hungry. The gym is very small, two treadmills take up most of the room so only enough space for one to do weights but I managed and even has cable machine and free weights up to 20 kgs. The hotel provides a free bus to and from the amazing terracotta warriors and also to the airport. Amazing value ,you won't be disappointed. English is limited but one star was Anna who spoke English and was so helpful.I also dealt with Shu when I checked in and she was delightful and professional. Great valued wee gym in an amazing part of China. I took advantage of the bus to the warriors but got a Didi taxi back to the hotel for around $13USD. If you are outside of China make sure you set up your Ali pay, link your credit card, get the metro. Ard if you intend to use it on the app. Google doesn't work or any google related apps unless you are on a e sim. I got a local number and sim as all wifi require a china +86 number. One last thing to walk the walls amazing but 14klm. If you are over 65 they won't rent you a bicycle ☹️☹️☹️"

"My friends and I booked this hotel to see what Xian has to offer, and to see the Terra Cotta Army! Our flight back home was suddenly canceled due to weather, but extending our stay was super easy! Staff here are exceptionally helpful and friendly, and very welcoming to foreigners! Nina was available 24/7 if we needed anything, which I was very grateful for! The bar makes a stout drink if that's what you're after, and the view of nightlife is beautiful from the rooftop bar! The rooms are clean and very luxurious, there's a nearby pedestrian street with plenty of bars and restaurants to try, and the location is basically in the heart of downtown Xian, just inside the south gate! I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit Xian!"

"The gym is not a gym. It is a laundry room with a cheap looking bike in it. Might be a treadmill as well. The laundry room is very useful. There are 3 washers and 3 dryers. There could be a system to help manage people's washes so that the machines were not left standing full as when I tried to use them they were all in use for most of the evening. The biggest problem I had in an otherwise good stay was that the amount of dust in the rooms. On all surfaces (pictured some dust on the phone and a thick layer on the projector) there is dust. When I reported this a quick wipe of the projector was done but no apology or anything like this and no other areas were dusted. The room (and probably hotel) needs a deep clean. The projector worked easily enough for me and was good, though I took my own hdmi cable that I plugged into the back, rather than using their system which I had no idea how to use and didn't see any instructions. Overall this hotel was good enough and good for the price but not as good as the rating suggests or the list of amenities could be."

"We chose this hotel for our family trip with kids. It's easy to find and very convenient for sightseeing. The room was clean and comfortable, the environment quiet, and the service attentive. The facilities are brand new, and the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices. Our kids enjoyed their stay too. Overall, it was a great experience and highly recommended for families."

"This hotel in Xi'an perfectly met all my expectations for my trip: a 1.8m king-sized bed plus a pull-out sofa bed, a fridge, and a microwave. It was great for bringing back leftovers for a late-night snack. It's convenient to get to the North Station, Muslim Quarter, and Big Wild Goose Pagoda by taxi. Hopson One and SKP are just a short walk away. The subway station is about a 15-minute walk. Overall, it's very convenient for getting around. Being next to the city wall, the night view is stunning. The service was exceptional. When the staff heard we needed to use the sofa bed, they immediately came up to make it. A special thanks to Luo Li at the front desk, who gave us welcome fruit, provided small toys knowing we had a child, and even upgraded our room on the last day. Many thanks! The delivery robot was tirelessly helpful in bringing food up, saving us from having to go downstairs. Oh, and it's right next to the Dongcangmen Morning Market, a five-minute bike ride or a 15-minute walk. I specifically went there one morning to explore and eat, and finally got to try the much-desired Hu La Tang (spicy soup) and fried dough sticks with egg. If you want a quieter room, choose one not facing the main street, but then you won't get the city wall view. I booked the room over three weeks in advance, and the price was excellent. Booking closer to the date would have been much more expensive."

"I chose this hotel for my trip with the kids this time, and I was very satisfied with the overall environment and facilities. The hotel's public areas were clean and elegant, and there were no strange odors in the hallways. Our room was spacious and bright, the bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were well-maintained with stable hot water supply. The air conditioning ran quietly, and the soundproofing was good, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. Basic amenities were fully provided, making our stay very comfortable. During our trip, I suddenly needed to print my child's after-school homework. I searched everywhere but couldn't find an open print shop nearby and was quite anxious. I decided to try contacting the front desk, and the staff were incredibly patient and proactively helped me out, successfully printing my child's homework and solving our urgent problem. It's clear that they put a lot of thought into their service, even considering unexpected needs for families traveling with children. Both the physical environment and the thoughtful, convenient services exceeded my expectations. Staying here with kids felt very reassuring. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time and highly recommend it to anyone who needs it."

"First, the good points: The hotel's location is excellent, right by the Bell and Drum Towers, which is very lively and convenient, especially being near the H exit of the subway. The service is definitely the highlight; everyone is incredibly polite, enthusiastic, and attentive to every request. The daily mini-bar drinks and afternoon tea are lovely touches that deserve high praise. Now for the room: it's advertised as 35 square meters, but it honestly doesn't feel that big; it's a bit small, typical for a Huazhu property. The bathroom and toilet doors are semi-transparent, which could be a bit awkward if you're staying for a business trip. The toilet flush is incredibly loud, even more so at night. As for breakfast, the variety is decent, but many of the dishes and bowls were not clean – I even took photos, and this really shouldn't be happening every day. The restaurant service was good, but the staff tend to speak quite loudly, which feels a bit inappropriate. I won't comment on the airport pick-up service as there were many restrictions. Overall, if you don't have high expectations for the facilities, it's definitely a place worth staying, because the location and service are genuinely excellent. I would still recommend it."

"Just got back from Xi'an with my family, and choosing the Orange Hotel Crystal (Xi'an South Gate Stele Forest Museum) was the best decision we made on this trip. From check-in to check-out, the whole family was very satisfied – I have to give it a huge thumbs up! The location is superb. It's just a few minutes' walk to the Stele Forest Museum and the South Gate (Yongning Gate) city wall. Getting to the Bell Tower and Drum Tower takes only six or seven minutes by taxi, and it's a direct four-stop subway ride to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Grand Tang Mall. When traveling with kids, you want to avoid hassle, and this location truly made things effortless! The service was incredibly thoughtful and responsive. The front desk staff were warm and friendly, and check-in was super quick. When my child wanted hot milk in the middle of the night, a call immediately brought it to our room. The smart delivery robot was very convenient for sending items, and my child had a blast watching it. The complimentary self-service laundry room and gym were incredibly practical for family travel; we could wash and dry our clothes after a day out and wear them again the next day. The breakfast buffet offered a rich variety of options, including Xi'an specialties like Youpo La Zi (chili oil noodles), Liangpi (cold noodles), Liangfen (jelly noodles), and Roujiamo (meat burger). There was even an auntie who could cook fresh noodles and rice vermicelli on the spot. Children under 1.4 meters eat for free, so our family of three enjoyed a comfortable meal before heading out to explore. Overall, this hotel has a great location, attentive service, fantastic breakfast, and offers incredible value for money. If you're coming to Xi'an with kids, you absolutely can't go wrong with this choice! We'll definitely stay here again on our next visit."

"Beautiful place, calm and quite although outside small street full of life and next to very popular small temple. Excellent location, walking distance to Bell snd drum tower , muslim quarter, city walls. Combined authentic and modern design. Very nice and helpful stuff, some speak English well. Excellent comfortable bed, very good and quite AC. Has also terrace overlooking old city wall, I enjoyed there sunrise and sunset."

"Huajian allowed us to enjoy Xi'an to the fullest, located centrally enough to be super accessible, but not in the busiest street allowing for peaceful rest. Their communication was fantastic and the house tea they provided prompted us to buy a whole tea cake. Overall fantastic choice. They helped me as a foreigner to setup the food delivery app so that we could order food to the hotel. Easy communication over wechat for any issue! Also the rooms are absolutely massive, bigger than expected, but AC manages to control the temperature quickly and efficiently. Fully refunded my deposit with no issues."
