This hotel in Chongqing's Jiefangbei is so good, I didn't want to leave! It's super convenient – you can walk to Hongyadong right from the hotel. That really saved me a lot of hassle for transportation. The overall vibe is luxurious yet understated, and every corner is photo-ready. The decor details really impressed me. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows on the high floor offer an absolutely stunning view 🪟. The whole room is smart-controlled, which is very convenient. The soundproofing is also excellent, so I had a peaceful and sound sleep. There's a bathtub by the window, so you can soak while enjoying the night view of the mountain city. The bedding is super soft and comfortable against the skin 🛁. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options. You *must* try the local *xiaomian* (noodles) – the flavor is incredibly authentic. The front desk staff were incredibly attentive and thoughtful. Plus, there's a gym if you want to get a light workout in after eating. This place is perfect whether you're visiting Chongqing as a tourist or just looking for a short staycation as a local. #AtmosphereHotel #ChongqingArkleyHotel #ChongqingTravel #JiefangbeiHotel #HotelPhotography #BoutiqueDesignHotel #StaycationChongqing

Choosing the right hotel really makes traveling so much easier! The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and had no strange odors. The bedding was comfortable. The staff were very friendly and even turned on the air conditioning before we arrived. The hotel is close to the scenic spots, making it very convenient for getting around. The environment is quiet and safe, with excellent facilities and plenty of toiletries. My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and it's definitely worth coming back to.

The environment and service at Xiannvshan National Forest Park Bayu Homestay are both top-notch. The guesthouse offers pick-up and drop-off services to and from the scenic area entrance. Upon arrival, you're greeted by a tranquil courtyard surrounded by lush mountains and clear waters. The fresh air carries a faint scent of flowers and earth. The guesthouse features a modern minimalist design, with wooden pavilions and intricately carved window frames; every detail showcases the unique charm of the local culture. In terms of service, the staff are warm and attentive, from the thoughtful check-in guidance to meticulously planning sightseeing routes for guests, reflecting their genuine care. Here, you can savor authentic Bayu cuisine and experience a home-like warmth. In the morning, as the first rays of sunlight hit your window, you can stroll through the forest and embrace nature's bounty. After nightfall, the guesthouse glows with warm lights, reflecting the starry sky, making you feel as if you're in a dreamland. First, let's talk about the positives: the room had a separate trash can for takeout, which helped with odors. The lady at check-out was also pleasant. Now for the problems, and this is by far the most problematic four-star hotel I've ever stayed in. It's the first time I've written a lengthy review for a supposed four-star hotel. It's inexcusable that they still haven't ironed out these issues after being open for so long... No wonder many Globalists also complain about poor experiences at Atour. If you have platinum/diamond status with other brands, I honestly wouldn't recommend choosing Atour. This stay was a complete miss, and I won't consider any other hotels from this brand in the future. Here are the issues: 1. The Atour Xiao Cheng Xu smart butler wasn't enabled, so I couldn't use it to request items to be delivered to my room. (BTW, Xiao Cheng Xu is hard to use, which is a brand issue). 2. Before checking in, I specifically asked the brand's official customer service if Diamond members could enjoy their benefits (because Atour's member benefits only require personal use). So I came specifically to experience it, but I didn't expect such disdain for the member program and guests. Upon arrival, a younger front desk staff member sternly refused me, with a blank expression, saying there were no fruits or breakfast, and didn't mention supper or afternoon tea. They don't proactively inform you unless you ask. I'm not sure if they're intentionally trained this way or what. Also, the tabletops in the lobby lounge area were very dirty. 3. There was no phone in the room, and the 'Xiaodu' smart speaker was malfunctioning, causing my takeout to be delayed by an hour and a half. Attempts to call the front desk using Xiaodu also failed due to network issues and poor connection. It didn't work even after restarting it. If I hadn't added their enterprise WeChat, I would have had to go down to the front desk at 1:30 AM. 4. The notepad in the room had writing from the previous guest... The next day, housekeeping didn't replenish the towels or body lotion. This is the only four-star hotel where I've encountered this problem. Is their SOP based on budget hotels like Home Inn? Even though the hairdryer wasn't a Dyson, fine, but despite seeing that I regularly use a coffee machine, they only refilled two bottles of water... And the chain lock on the door was completely broken. When I reported it, they said engineering would fix it during cleaning, but it was still broken the next night. Regarding all these issues, there was no apology whatsoever. Their attitude gave the impression that they just want to rely on their location to do one-off business with most people.

I really need to vent about the service here. First, the good points: The location, ambiance, design, decor, and breakfast were all excellent. It's a beautiful, centuries-old building, entered through a side door next to a church – truly a hidden gem in the city. Everything started off wonderfully. Then, I was shocked by the service process. We had booked an activity and dinner a day in advance, but the staff member who was supposed to guide us the next day had no idea about it. It was my birthday, and I had informed the hotel beforehand. I appreciate them offering a complimentary birthday cake. However, I watched the employee walk for several minutes in the rain without an umbrella, carrying the cake. This meant the cake was exposed to the rain for that entire time. When it arrived in the room, it looked exactly like the picture – soggy and ruined. What should have been a nice bonus turned into a rather disappointing birthday memory. It feels like the staff training is only halfway done. They have all the right facilities, which makes the poor service even more regrettable.

This was my first time booking a hotel in Chongqing on my own. I wanted to be near Hongyadong with river views and easy access, so I found Beichen Riverview Hotel. The price was reasonable, and I didn't have high expectations, but the room completely exceeded them! I missed the closest parking lot, so I called the front desk. The lady there told me the Cangbai Road parking lot was cheaper and even came to meet me there personally. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was high quality, and I got upgraded to a riverview king room – facing the big river felt amazing. The service attitude was excellent. It was a wonderful stay. I'll definitely recommend it to friends.

Moxy Hotel truly holds a prime spot in the heart of Jiefangbei. From the hotel, it's just a one-minute walk downstairs to the delicious food street, and within a 10-minute stroll, you can reach Hongyadong and the metro station, making sightseeing and dining incredibly convenient. The revolving restaurant on the 29th floor was a delightful surprise during our trip. It slowly rotates over 90 minutes, offering panoramic views of Chongqing's cityscapes by day and a dazzling display of city lights by night. The blend of the historic 'Nine-Level Heaven' charm with its trendy design created an amazing atmosphere. What impressed me even more was the consistently thoughtful and enthusiastic service from all the staff. The front desk team proactively offered welcome drinks, showcasing their attentiveness and warmth in every small detail. This hotel truly made our trip to Mountain City exceptionally comfortable.

❤️ I've always seen cave hotels online, and today I finally got to experience one! The moment I opened the room door, it felt like I was transported to Turkey. The room has a unique style – the cave-themed decor made sleeping a truly special experience! 🕌 Every area of the room is distinctive. The earthy yellow walls really make you feel like you're in a real cave. The lighting is beautiful and very stylish. The LED strip under the bed creates a floating bed effect! 🛁 And there's even a huge bathtub where you can soak while enjoying the view from the 22nd floor, with a panoramic view of the Luohan Temple complex. 📌 The hotel offers a 24-hour gym, laundry room, and self-service tea bar. Plus, they even provide free luggage delivery to the airport! (A great perk for those catching a flight, just remember to arrange it 4 hours in advance). 📍 The hotel is conveniently located right by Exit 2 of Xiaoshizi Metro Station (Line 1), next to Luohan Temple, on the 21st floor. Very easy to find!

Top-notch view! ✨ Just checked out and I have to rave about this amazing guesthouse! The location is incredible, only a five-minute walk to the beach. Evening strolls watching the sunset were so therapeutic. The room was clean and cozy, and the smart home features were super convenient to use. The floor-to-ceiling windows framed the entire sea view perfectly, and waking up to the sun in the morning was pure bliss~ The owner even thoughtfully prepared local snacks and a travel guide. The value for money is absolutely fantastic, I'll definitely stay here again next time! 👍

This Le Meridien stay completely exceeded my expectations. It's a five-star experience that offers incredible value for money. The hotel's location is super convenient, just a few minutes' walk to the subway station, surrounded by shopping areas and chain restaurants, so getting around and finding food is a breeze. Suki at the front desk was very efficient and even proactively recommended great places to eat and visit – there's so much good food in Chongqing, I'm a big fan of 'feichangji' (a local chicken and intestine dish)! The room was spotless and odor-free, with fluffy, soft bedding that let me fall asleep quickly. The soundproofing was excellent, so I wasn't disturbed by any hallway noise. The bathroom had a well-designed wet/dry separation, 24-hour hot water with stable pressure, and the complimentary toiletries were very pleasant to use. Overall, it was an experience beyond five stars. I'll definitely prioritize staying here next time I visit the city.
