Hotels near Golden Sand Beach, Qingdao

This was my first time staying at an Atour Light hotel. The style is really interesting, with a predominantly blue theme, making it feel more geared towards a younger crowd. The room size was pretty standard, not particularly large, but the cleanliness and service were excellent in every aspect. The front desk staff was very enthusiastic and quickly helped with any requests we had. However, the biggest issue with the room was the poor soundproofing. You could clearly hear people laughing or talking loudly in nearby rooms. This is definitely something that could use improvement.

Excellent location, close to May Fourth Square with many shopping centers nearby, including Hisense Plaza. We had a huge steamed seafood feast that was both delicious and affordable – we practically had to be rolled out! And those fruit-flavored beers? Absolutely incredible, better than any other drink. The combination of fruitiness and low alcohol content is simply superb!

I spent a weekend here, and it was a great experience! My apartment was absolutely fantastic, offering breathtaking views from the 42nd floor. Waking up to that sea view every morning was truly a highlight of my stay. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax after a long day. The facilities and services provided by the hotel are top‑notch. The hotel staff are helpful and professional. I am glad I chose this hotel for my trip! I genuinely enjoyed every moment spent there. Stayed here with my boyfriend and the overall experience exceeded our expectations! ✨ The hotel's decor is exquisite and feels luxurious; every photo we took turned out beautifully. The room was spacious and bright, and amenities like the mini-fridge, screen mirroring, and Dyson hairdryer were definite bonuses. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the bathroom's wet/dry separation made our stay incredibly pleasant. Breakfast was delicious with fresh ingredients, and the service was gentle and appropriate. The environment was quiet and serene, perfect for a peaceful getaway for two. I've already recommended it to my friends and we'll definitely be back!

The hotel's location is fantastic, offering partial sea views. It's super convenient as the subway lines 2 and 3 are right downstairs. Plus, it's next to MixC shopping mall, so finding places to eat is a breeze. The front desk staff and telephone service agents were all incredibly warm and welcoming, and the cleaning ladies were also very nice. The breakfast spread was extensive and catered to different tastes, though they seemed a bit short on cutlery, as I had to grab some from other tables. I suggest they improve on that. Overall, highly recommended!

Grand Barony Qingdao Airport has an incredibly convenient location with an indoor connecting corridor leading straight to the airport terminal, so we can walk over easily. The hotel also provides shuttle service for guests carrying lots of luggage; simply tell the staff ahead, and they will make proper arrangements. Dining options inside the hotel are limited, but we could easily take Didi to taste delicious local food nearby. Every staff member is polite, warm and ready to offer helpful support. It’s an ideal pick for airport stays.

The interior walls of the rooms and hallways are quite old, showing signs of use and age, but the bathrooms are well-maintained and very clean, although the walls show signs of dampness and the carpets retain the smell of dampness from the sea during rainy seasons. The staff were very helpful and provided excellent service; they were cheerful, smiling, and very polite. I was quite impressed with both the male and female receptionists I encountered

Location is great because our intention was to be in the Laoshan District. Might not be easy if most of your plans are in the touristy areas such as the Tsingtao Brewery Museum. Anyway, there is Metro (underground subway) which helped us address that in case we wanted to have a look at downtown. The hotel is a 10 min walk from either Haiyou or Haichuan stations in Line 2. We’re not so much of a fan of Chinese food for breakfast, so the free breakfast was not fascinating for us. They did have eggs and bread. There is an elevator to help us carry or luggage all the way to our floors. And the room was neat and clean, and they clean it every time we’re out.

The room's location is pretty good, quite close to Licang District center, Wanda Plaza, and Licun Night Market, and transportation is also very convenient. The front desk service attitude was also good. The downside is that the room isn't very soundproof, and the TV in the room didn't work. I reported the TV issue to the front desk, but it still couldn't be watched properly. Overall, the experience was decent, and the room price wasn't expensive for a National Day holiday trip.

We had an apartment on the 3rd floor. There was some dirt left in the bathroom, the drain was partly clogged by hairs which you dont immediately see, because it is under a cover. Inside the apartment there are stairs leading to a second level but upstairs there is nothing except for an additional bed and no windows. Its a little unhandy that you need to go to the 9th floor of the neighbouring building to check in. The view from the main apartment is pretty nice, one can see the sea from the bed! Location is also nice, close to the seafront.
