Excellent value for money! The hot water was consistent and the Wi-Fi was fast. The lobby was clean and simply designed. The smart toilet, a Geberit, was as comfortable as the one at home. You could clearly hear people laughing or talking loudly in nearby rooms. This is definitely something that could use improvement.

The Westin Qingdao has an excellent location, very close to May Fourth Square and the commercial district, making it super convenient for getting around, sightseeing, shopping, and finding places to eat. Staying on the Executive Floor offered outstanding views; I could take in the stunning sea views right from my window. The Executive Lounge experience was superb, with a wide variety of food. The staff were attentive and responsive, providing meticulous service throughout my stay. It was a comfortable and pleasant stay, perfect for a trip to Qingdao.

The only downside is that after running water in the bathtub, there was a musty smell coming from underneath it. Service: The front desk staff were all very understanding and considerate. There's a direct通道 connecting to the airport right next to the breakfast area, and it's about a ten-minute walk.

All in all, the kids loved it and had a blast. My wife, on the other hand, felt the hotel was a bit dated and wasn't too fond of it, finding parts of it a bit unclean. However, it's really just the wear and tear of time, as the hotel has been open for 15 years, so it's bound to show its age. Overall, I still think it's a very good place, and I might even go back in the future.
