"When I checked in (July 23rd, 12:30 PM, the female front desk staff nearest to the entrance), the service was great. Seeing I was alone, she offered to change my twin room to a king-size bed and even allowed me to check in early. However, when I checked out (July 27th, 10:00 AM, the female front desk staff furthest from the entrance), the service attitude was poor. She initially spoke to me in English, but after seeing my check-in slip and realizing I was from mainland China, she switched to Mandarin. Her Mandarin was fast and unclear, so I didn't understand her question about whether I needed to store my luggage. When I repeated that I needed to store luggage, she rudely said, ”I just asked you if you wanted to store luggage!” which made me feel very uncomfortable. Apart from that, due to Typhoon Signal No. 9, all shops were closed, but the hotel provided breakfast (60 HKD). There are many shops nearby, including a 7-Eleven, and the room was quite spacious. They don't provide disposable toothbrushes or toothpaste, but there's a machine at the front desk where you can buy them."

The location is excellent, just a short walk from Yau Ma Tei MTR Station, making it very convenient to explore the city, visit attractions, and find local restaurants nearby. The hotel has a modern and stylish design, and the room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. Although the room size is compact, which is common in Hong Kong, the layout is efficient and provides everything needed for a pleasant stay. The bed was comfortable, and the amenities were good. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and the overall service exceeded my expectations. For travelers looking for a clean, convenient, and good-value hotel in a central location, WAKE Concept Hotel is an excellent choice. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Hong Kong."

"The location is excellent: it's about a 7-minute walk from Jordan MTR Exit B1 (depending on your pace, it might take a bit longer with luggage). The hotel is situated in an area with supermarkets, pharmacies, McDonald's, and various shops, making it very convenient for any needs. On the ground floor, there are numerous restaurants offering all kinds of cuisines, even pizza. Additionally, there are bars in the lobby where you can enjoy a drink if it's raining or you don't want to go out; truly, everything you need is already within the hotel. The room is spacious considering Hong Kong standards: I was able to open a large suitcase on the floor and move comfortably around the bed. I was traveling alone, but even for two people, it would have been perfectly fine. The room perfectly matched the photos online."

"A few years ago, I visited Hong Kong and stayed at Cordis for the first time, absolutely loving it. This time around, there was no question, I chose Cordis again. It's in a prime Mong Kok location, super convenient for transportation and shopping. The hotel lobby connects directly to Langham Place, and just outside, you'll find SaSa, Mannings, DONKI, and Matsukiyo. Famous local eateries like Fei Jie and 18 Seats Doggy Noodles are also within a 10-minute walk. Langham Place's basement connects to the MTR Tsuen Wan Line, offering direct access to Yau Ma Tei, Tsim Sha Tsui, and Central without any transfers. The hotel has been open for about ten years or so, and it's generally well-maintained, though of course, it can't compare to a brand new hotel – that's a matter of personal preference. A pleasant surprise this time was finding ice machines in the hallway on our floor. The room facilities are quite comprehensive, though having to stand in the bathtub for a shower is a minor drawback. The bedding is very comfortable, especially the pillows; I slept incredibly well. The front desk staff are all very nice, communicating in Mandarin, offering cold towels, and proactively greeting guests. However, the ground floor staff didn't offer to help with luggage proactively, which was a slight oversight. All in all, if you're looking for ultimate convenience, choosing Cordis is definitely the right decision."

"This hotel is a 10 out of 10, but I'd give it 100! It's right by the subway entrance, making travel super convenient. The two guys at the front desk were incredibly kind and patient. I even lost my room card, and they didn't charge me anything (last year in HK, I lost a card at another hotel and had to pay 200 HKD 🥹). When I extended my stay, they not only remembered me but also gave me a small gift – so touching! The A/C was already running when I entered the room. The best part is the incredibly reasonable price; it was more comfortable than a place I stayed at before that cost over 3000 HKD!"
