The location is convenient for shopping and dining, but it's a bit of a walk to the metro station. The soundproofing isn't great, so it was a bit noisy at night."

"First and foremost, a huge thank you to the butler for upgrading our room – we were absolutely delighted! Nanjing is a city rich in history, and for personal reasons, I hadn't quite gotten around to planning a trip there. This time, my eldest, who's in junior high, wanted to explore Nanjing, so we decided to make it a family summer vacation. The hotel's location is superb, and the interior is wonderfully quiet. After the rain, the air was exceptionally fresh and clear! It truly felt like sleeping at the foot of Sun Yat-sen's Mausoleum, close to our ancestors. Just a 5-minute walk left from the hotel entrance takes you straight to Gate 5 of the Mausoleum, from where you can immediately cross the famous '网红桥' (Internet-famous bridge) and reach the hundred-year-old stone statues – incredibly convenient! The Meiling Palace is also nearby, probably just a 20-minute walk from the hotel, so its convenience goes without saying. The Nanjing Museum is only about 2 kilometers away too. If time permits, you can really take your time and soak it all in. Nanjing is a city surrounded by plane trees, a city full of green vitality everywhere you look. I'm already looking forward to my next visit! Oh, and if you're traveling with kids, a visit to Yuhuatai (Rain Flower Terrace) is a must! One last thing, the hotel's self-service laundry facilities are incredibly convenient!"

"My parents live in Nanjing, so I visit frequently. This time I chose Mercure, as I've always had a good impression of the brand. Although this particular Mercure is a bit far from my parents' place in Muxuyuan, it wasn't an issue since we were driving. The hotel was, as expected, very clean and hygienic, and the staff were warm and courteous. I especially appreciated that the room was larger than most hotels. The bathroom was well-partitioned, and the layout was comfortable and practical. They even gave me an extra breakfast! There's a garden outside the window, which is nice for a stroll. The breakfast buffet was also great, with everything you could want. The laundry room was very convenient too. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit."

"The location is fantastic, right near Xiaolingwei subway station, just a five-minute walk away. Two stops down is Muxuyuan, where you can easily visit the Sycamore Avenue, Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum, and the Music Stage – all just a 15-minute subway ride. Plus, there are food stalls downstairs, making it super convenient for a late-night snack. The hotel partners with Cotti Coffee and Laoxiangji for breakfast, offering nutritious set meals from Laoxiangji. The front desk and Cotti Coffee are on the same floor, so it's really easy to grab a coffee and relax. The room was very clean and came with a mini-fridge and complimentary tea and beverages! It had a built-in TV, voice-activated controls throughout, and even a robot delivery service for takeout – a true godsend for anyone who loves convenience. There are also self-service laundry and drying machines on the same floor. The bathroom in the room had a separate wet and dry area, and the smart toilet was spotless."

"Nestled in the bustling city, Hotel Cozi 建国璞隐 (Jianguo Puyin) offers a unique blend of oriental romance and tranquil escape. The entire hotel exudes an ancient charm, with its exquisitely designed gardens showcasing the elegance of Jiangnan. White walls and black tiles, pavilions and flowing water, lotus leaves filling the pond, and winding corridors – every corner is meticulously arranged, making every snapshot a picturesque scene. Away from the street's clamor, the courtyard is peaceful and serene, and the guest rooms are simple yet warm, providing a very comfortable stay. A delightful surprise was the hotel's intangible cultural heritage handicraft activities, where we got to personally make sachets and paint round fans, experiencing the charm of traditional craftsmanship up close. Service was attentive and thoughtful, and the staff were kind and humble. There's no need to travel far to a water town; here, you can experience the unique tranquility and poetic beauty of a Chinese courtyard. It was a truly healing journey, highly recommended for travelers looking to slow down and relax."

"The hotel's cleanliness was impressive; the room was spotless. The staff were very friendly and responsive, whether it was for check-in or answering questions. They even provided complimentary fruit upon arrival, and food deliveries were prompt. The facilities were excellent, with soft, comfortable pillows. Its proximity to tourist attractions also made getting around very convenient."

"The environment, facilities, and cleanliness are all so-so. It's alright. The wall between the bathroom and the bed is a glass panel, and surprisingly, there are no blinds. The window sill glass is a bit broken and hasn't been replaced, which definitely leaves a less than pleasant impression on guests. There are many small details that aren't quite right. Prices increase sharply on weekends, and it's a bit of a walk (about 10-15 minutes) from the nearest subway station."

"The service was terrible. Most staff had a sour expression, no smiles at all. There was no concierge to speak of, and no one to greet guests or help with luggage or opening car doors. The security guards at the entrance were old guys glued to their phones. It's a world of difference from staying at a Shangri-La. The worst was the lobby bar. The summer craft class description stated it was suitable for two adults, but the lobby bar staff insisted it was only for children and adults couldn't participate, even when there wasn't a single child or participant for the first half hour. Their service attitude was appalling. I've never encountered such a five-star hotel. If they don't know how to do it, they should go learn from Yangzhou Yingbin Hotel. The only good thing was the auntie who delivered items to the room; she was very responsive, polite, enthusiastic, and always smiling and thoughtful. She deserves all the praise, a stark contrast to the stiff, state-owned enterprise-like staff on the first floor. Haven't they been trained? Or is it all about connections? The only positives were the environment, being situated in a garden with fresh air and lush greenery, and the Dyson hairdryer, although it was a bit old. Good thing I wasn't staying long, or I'd be fed up with these people. The room facilities were old with cracks, and the carpet and sofa had stains (not the cleaning staff's fault, it looked like the kind that wouldn't come out and needed replacing)."

"Hidden gem within the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum! I absolutely adore this hotel. The front desk staff were all incredibly warm and lovely, and they provided very detailed travel tips. The room itself was a wonderful surprise – super comfortable for sleeping, and it even had a private courtyard. The courtyard was shaded by large trees, making it feel like you were completely immersed in a forest. At night, we even had a cute little cat visit us, which was just adorable!!! I especially loved the rocking chairs. The hotel's ancient, charming style perfectly complements the scenic area. Breakfast was delicious and eco-friendly (no waste). It's also perfect for introverts because if you need anything, you can just grab it from the common area. I'm currently working under a tree, and it's simply beautiful!!!! Another huge plus is that the hotel is inside the scenic area. You can walk just 50 meters to Gate 7 of the Ming Xiaoling Mausoleum. Waking up and stepping directly into the scenic area without paying and with fewer crowds is incredibly convenient. I will definitely be back!"

The rooms are spacious, the bedding is comfortable, and it's surrounded by many attractions. With convenient subway access, visiting various scenic spots was a breeze. The pool was clean and safe. Breakfast offered a diverse selection, was clean, and delicious. Every detail was meticulously taken care of, making our family's stay comfortable and pleasant. We will definitely stay here again on our next visit to Nanjing!"
