I had a fantastic stay here! The hotel environment is elegant and quiet, and the room was spotless with a very comfortable bed that ensured a great night's sleep. The staff were all incredibly warm, friendly, and attentive. Its convenient location also makes it a great choice. Overall, the value for money is excellent. This is definitely my top pick for accommodation when traveling, and I highly recommend it!

Best breakfast in China! Xiaoming was very helpful with anything we needed and very generous. There are e-scooters to use, which you really need. Guilin traffic is not for the feint heated though and this is certainly not the place to learn to ride an old e-scooter. At first I wondered why I had booked a place so far out of town but in the end, with the scooter it didn't really matter. The room has seen better days and the lack of ventilation means high humidity from the shower mist, meaning sweaty nights, which isn't good. Didn't like the fact the music was left on ALL night below in the breakfast room as you can hear it in the room!

This hotel was absolutely the right choice. To put it simply, while it's not a new hotel, it's incredibly well-maintained. The lobby is beautiful, and the reception staff are professional and incredibly attentive. They were always helpful, answering all our questions and resolving any issues we encountered during our stay. The rooms are very spacious, and all the amenities are clean and hygienic. The interior decor is well-preserved, and the bathroom has a great wet/dry separation. The floor-toceiling windows offer fantastic views. The rooftop dining room has an amazing view; we ate there two out of three nights. The prices were even better than the local restaurants outside. A special shout-out to the front desk staff – their service was exceptional!

It was a fantastic location. We were upgraded to a deluxe room by the owner Mr Jeff, who spoke good English and was very helpful to us. His breakfast was traditionally Chinese Guilin Noodles along with orange juice and some home baked raisin bread. He even cooked us some eggs for a bite late in the night. Very hospitable human being. He took us to a place he recommended down the road over the bridge where we were able to have some lunch. We were hungry as we took the high speed train from Kowloon to GuilinXi. He also arranged for us to take the river cruise from Guilin To Yangshuo and even arranged a vehicle to the wharf which is quite far from the hotel. We spent New Year’s Eve in Guilin city by the Li River around the Sun and Moon Pagodas.. made many friends. The local community is very friendly and welcoming. We felt that were were actually at home.

The hotel was clean and tidy, and the location was super convenient. I really enjoyed the breakfast too. I especially loved the bed – it was so comfortable to sleep in. There was no noise at all, which made for a very pleasant stay. The front desk staff were really friendly and even provided bottled water, small drinks, and snacks. I was satisfied with everything. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time. The tatami room window was frosted, which was fine by me as I just wanted to rest after work. If that's an issue for you, I'd recommend booking a double room instead.

A truly delightful stay... To be honest, the hotel environment and decor were quite nice. Located on a west-facing hillside, the space boasts a fantastic design perfect for taking photos. My first impression was great! It's perfect for relaxing, taking pictures, and checking in on social media. The owner even provides a car service from the station, which was a nice touch! + The staff helped with my luggage to the room, and the view from the window was amazing! The owner brought coffee to the room, and the staff even brought ice and bought me a Coke – all very thoughtful! + BUT! For such a high price, the service and quality didn't quite match the cost! The area around the lobby reception was a bit messy! -1 Late at night, I found many small flying insects in the room, especially on the bed and even under the floor lamp. I had to contact the housekeeper, who gave me mosquito repellent... They eventually changed my room, but I still got bitten by several mosquitoes. -4 They said they'd start work at 8 am, but it was almost 8:30 and there was still no one at the front desk! -0.5 They promised to help book discounted attraction tickets, but after I asked early this morning, they only told me I needed to arrive an hour early when I was about to leave... Okay! I paid and waited for about ten minutes... then they said I needed my ID and name to confirm! Shenzhen's shrewish staff can't stand not being able to finish their sentences at once! In the end, I had to queue up to buy tickets myself! -2 Okay! After packing up and checking out, I left! The owner called halfway there... and I found out there was a gift bag for check-out, but the front desk just took the card and went back to their seat... Check-out and service ended, and this price...! -2 Okay! I hope the owner goes for training to improve the service at these high prices. It takes forever to order food nearby, maybe they could add a small drink and snack shop or something! I've stayed here before, haha! Just my personal opinion!

The hotel is a bit remote, but that’s something you already know when you book. Getting around with Didi or taxis is very easy and you can reach the city center, train station and other places quickly and without any hassle. The surroundings are beautiful, quiet and close to nature, which makes it a great place to relax away from the busy city. The staff were very helpful and friendly, which made our stay even more pleasant. 🤗 The rooms are a little dated, but still very nice overall—especially the view, which was absolutely wonderful! The best part, however, were the animals at the property 💕 Every evening when we came back from our activities, we left the door open and let the two cats come into our room. They were incredibly cute and cuddely and made the stay even more memorable.

My stay this time was exceptional. It's rare to receive such thoughtful care at a hotel. The front desk staff who checked me in was a lovely and gentle young woman. She communicated with me in detail before check-in, fully accommodating my actual needs. After helping me with check-in, she enthusiastically helped move my luggage to the room and explained the room layout and where things were located, making me feel right at home. The room itself was clean and tidy, ensuring a comfortable stay. When I checked out, she even helped me communicate with the local driver, which greatly reduced my travel stress – I'm especially grateful to her! The auntie at breakfast on the 27th was also very kind and thoughtfully helped guests season their Guilin rice noodles. Additionally, the hotel's location is excellent. It's very convenient to walk to attractions like Elephant Trunk Hill, Jingjiang Prince City, Two Rivers and Four Lakes Scenic Area (Twin Pagoda Park), and Zhengyang Pedestrian Street. Plus, it's not too far from both Guilin Station and Guilin North Station.

The hotel's location is pretty good, very close to the scenic area, just a few minutes drive away. My friends and I came to Guilin for a trip and after comparing several hotels, we decided on this one. It exceeded our expectations! The dry and wet separation design is very thoughtful, and the mattress is just right – not too soft, not too hard. I had a great night's sleep and felt refreshed. They also have a self-service laundry room, which is super convenient for lazy people like us, haha. The snacks and coffee in the lobby are good too!
