"This was my favorite hotel of the trip, no contest. First off, the location is excellent, perfect for a vacation where you can easily spend a whole day at the hotel. It's right by the Fisherman's Wharf, very quiet. While there's no car access right outside, you can walk to Sands Macao to catch a taxi or public transport. The facilities are great too – a bathtub, a balcony… especially the balcony for drying clothes, which is a huge advantage over many other hotels. When traveling in summer, you change clothes daily and need to wash them, so this was incredibly convenient. The Portuguese-style decor is well-executed, with great attention to detail. The price and comfort level also far surpass hotels in the resort areas. The food presentation was lovely, a mix of Western and Chinese. Although the buffet selection wasn't vast, the quality was excellent. The service attitude was also wonderful; they specially brought me extra hangers for drying clothes, and when I needed more water, they delivered it immediately. There are also water dispensers in the public areas – I was very impressed with the attention to detail. This will definitely be my top choice for my next trip to Macau. No wonder it's Rosy Zhao's choice; I'm glad I followed the celebrity's recommendation!"

"What a gem! This was I think our 5th stay here and we've already booked our next stay soon! That's how amazing it is here in Artyzen. We just adore this resort and the staff are always hospitable and kind. They remember us by our first names. What a nice touch. We enjoyed our suite, pool, gym, kidsco, breakfast and eating by the pool. Thank you to Mr. Will, Jennifer, Maricris, Yang, the bell man who always help and assist us (sorry I forgot his name) and of course Mr. Patrick for always taking care of us and making sure we have an unforgettable stay as always. "The service was good, and the restaurant staff were all friendly and hardworking. There were too many people queuing for check-in; the self-service machine showed that my reserved room type wasn't available, so I had to queue again. The front desk staff were very polite and proactively followed up on the room cleaning status. The room was also comfortable, and the bathroom was clean. The buffet was decent, not as bad as some reviews suggested. The dinner dishes were innovatively prepared, and the breakfast offered a good selection of Chinese options, including made-to-order choices by a chef, as well as the usual Western selections. The location is also very convenient; it's easy to catch a ride from the lobby on the upper floor, and it's only a 15-minute walk to Senado Square. Overall, the experience was good, except for the 25-minute wait to check-in on a weekend."

"I have a well-established system for booking rooms, and as expected, our stay at Golden Dragon didn't disappoint my family this time either. For family members with rhinitis, rooms with carpets are a no-go, and while carpeting is quite common in Macau hotels, Golden Dragon met our needs perfectly. The hotel's facilities are comprehensive and very clean, making for a worry-free stay. The transportation from the hotel is convenient, catering to all kinds of travel needs. It's especially great that it's only a 10-15 minute walk to the ferry terminal, which is super convenient for us when traveling to Hong Kong by boat. Highly recommended!"

"Stayed here couple of times before. Hotel is decent and clean. However they downgraded the breakfast quite a bit (at least for westerners). For example the only bread choice is cheap, not fresh baguette. Also there is no yoghurt or bacon whatsoever. The eggs are ok since those are freshly cooked for each order. Also they decided not to offer bottled water on the room anymore and instead you have to go with a can to the outside floor to refill It from a third party water tank. There is even a note on the machine that the hotel does not take any responsibility for the quality of the water. Very strange. That’s why I give it 7/10, used to be 9/10 for me. Next stay in Macau I probably stay somewhere else."

"Every time I visit Macau, I stay at this hotel, and this time my experience was even better! First off, the lobby has been upgraded and is much more beautiful, bright, and comfortable. Then, during check-in, the front desk lady patiently explained the new room door lock system – you just swipe the card directly, unlike before where I'd worry about demagnetization if the room card was near my phone. The room, as always, was clean and tidy. My little one absolutely loves the two-meter large bed. When I needed extra items for the room, the staff was super patient, asking if I had enough. This hotel is so thoughtful, it's a must-stay every time I come! 👍"

"We checked into the Sky Seaview King Room, and when we plugged in the kettle's base, it sparked, emitted black smoke, and blackened my finger. My family was so scared they didn't dare to plug anything else in. After communicating with the hotel, we were offered a room change and a late check-out. They moved us to a Sky Seaview Twin Room with a slightly better view but significantly smaller in size. I discussed with the front desk that there was a price difference between twin and king rooms on the platform, and I felt the late check-out was justified, especially since my family nearly got electrocuted. However, the front desk stated that both room types were the same price and they couldn't control platform pricing, suggesting we contact the platform. Their attitude also made me uncomfortable. So, I contacted the platform's customer service, requesting to be moved back to the original Sky Seaview King Room. The platform customer service informed me that Sky Seaview King Rooms were only available on lower floors, or we could switch to a triple room without a sea view. We opted for the low-floor seaview king room. There might have been a misunderstanding between the platform and the hotel, as they then moved us to a triple room. From the exploding socket to the room changes, it took over two hours of hassle. All we wanted was to rest properly, but the soundproofing was terrible; we constantly heard people talking loudly in the hallway, and even on the lowest fan setting, the air conditioner's motor was noisy. The experience was truly awful, and I won't consider staying here again."

"The Waldo Hotel Macau boasts a convenient location, close to the Golden Lotus Square and the Hong Kong-Macau Ferry Terminal, making travel easy. The rooms are spacious and offer good value for money, while the service is decent. Although the facilities are a bit dated and soundproofing isn't great, its prime location makes it a practical choice for guests prioritizing convenience."

"The hotel exceeded my expectations. They provided a charging cable, slippers, toiletries, and even had a small indoor balcony with thick curtains. It's right next to Macao Polytechnic University, so a lot of guests stay here when dropping off their children for school."
