This trip was for business, traveling from the mainland all the way to Hong Kong on a very tight budget. It was tough going, staying in basic conditions, so on the last day, staying here near my client was a real treat, thanks to them. As soon as I opened the room door, a comfortable and cozy atmosphere enveloped me. I hope to have the chance to stay at this hotel again. Room for improvement: It's really not okay that Ctrip bookings for Hong Kong hotels are non-cancellable.

This is my third stay here, and I feel like the quality has declined. Check-in at 5:30 PM was a hassle. The front desk staff looked stressed, took ages searching on the computer, then disappeared into the back office for a long time, coming out twice and asking a colleague for help. It took nearly fifteen minutes just to get my room card. I stayed in room 1644, and the lighting was incredibly dim. There were very few lights in the entire room, and the single sofa area had no light at all. If you sat there at night, you'd be in complete darkness. At least put a floor lamp there! Check-out was also problematic. Around 11 AM, the line was very long. After waiting for a bit, I couldn't take it anymore, so I asked a lobby staff member if there was a fast check-out drop-off box for the key card. The staff member looked around and found that a colleague had forgotten to put it out. So, they loudly announced, ”Anyone who doesn't need a receipt can just hand me their room card!” The check-out line immediately shortened by three-quarters.

Good evening. This hotel, The Kowloon Hotel, has an excellent location. The MTR (subway) entrance is right outside, and it's just a 5-minute walk to Victoria Harbour – simply turn left after exiting the main entrance and walk straight ahead (it's about 5 minutes, not counting traffic lights). If you walk a bit further, the third bus stop is for the A21, which goes directly to the airport. To the right of The Kowloon Hotel's main entrance, there's a restaurant called Silver Dragon Restaurant, famous for its roasted goose leg. In Hong Kong, roasted meat dishes, coffee, and milk tea are almost always available for free with your meal. However, in my personal opinion, this hotel is very expensive. They wouldn't even provide two bottles of mineral water without charge, and you have to pay for toothbrushes and combs. The breakfast I had cost me HKD 148, which I paid myself. So it really depends on your personal preferences. If location is your priority, then this place is fine. Everyone needs to think clearly about what they truly want. Thank you all.

Taking city bus A21 from the airport and getting off at the Hong Kong Science Museum stop, the hotel is just a 3-minute walk away. The transportation is incredibly convenient, and it's also not far from Tsim Sha Tsui, making getting around very easy. The room was neat and clean, with complete facilities. On the first day of my stay, I even received a large bottle of complimentary mineral water. Since my flight was in the evening, I left my luggage at the hotel when checking out, and the staff were very helpful, providing assistance and even transportation suggestions. It was a very thoughtful experience. Next time I visit Hong Kong, I will definitely choose to stay at this hotel again. Highly recommended! Facilities: The hotel facilities are complete. Hygiene: Neat and clean, and it's a smoke-free environment. Environment: The environment is excellent, and it's convenient for getting around. Service: The staff are warm, attentive, and provide excellent service.

Jascha Hotel is located at the junction of Nathan Road and Haiphong Road in the heart of Tsim Sha Tsui, Kowloon. There are many sightseeing, shopping and attractions nearby. Location Inside Haiphong Mansion, right in the middle of Tsim Sha Tsui. Harbour City, Nathan Road, Kowloon Park, and the Star Ferry are all within walking distance. The MTR station is just minutes away, making it easy to explore both Kowloon and Hong Kong Island. Room & Comfort I stayed for three nights. The single room is very tiny and has no window, but it feels cozy if you don’t mind the compact space. Linens were fresh, the layout efficient, and the air-conditioning was excellent — strong and reliable, which made the stay comfortable. The toilet was clean, and there was a multi-type power socket by the bed, great if you forget to bring a travel adapter. If you’re tall, the bed may feel restrictive as you can’t fully stretch out your legs. Amenities Facilities are simple: air-conditioning and Wi-Fi. No kettle in the room. Guests receive a single-use towel, shampoo, and shower gel every day, which keeps things hygienic and straightforward. Room slippers and bathroom slippers are provided. The Wi-Fi was fast and stable. Outside the room, there’s a water dispenser (hot and room-temperature only, no cold water) and a microwave oven free to use. Hot water for showering is available anytime. Hangers and a hair dryer are provided. Daily room cleaning is carried out, which keeps the space fresh. With plenty of food nearby, dining is easy and varied. Check-in Late check-in is allow here till 1am but after 12am need to inform the owner early. The front desk isn’t 24-hour, so arrivals after normal hours require coordination. This can be inconvenient for late-night travelers, but manageable if arranged in advance. Service The owner is genuinely nice and friendly, which makes a big difference in a guesthouse setting. Staff were helpful, making the process smooth once checked in. Allow to store your baggage before check in and out so you can explore in peace. Atmosphere The surrounding streets are lively, while the inn itself feels cozy. Some noise may filter through, but overall the vibe is casual and welcoming — closer to a homestay than a hotel chain. Building & Access The lift system in Haiphong Mansion is split between odd and even floors. Joyce Inn is located on the 5th floor, so you’ll need to use the lift serving odd-numbered levels. Verdict Joyce Inn is about location and value. Clean, affordable, and right in the middle of Tsim Sha Tsui’s energy. Best suited for solo travelers or couples who prioritize convenience over amenities. My three-night stay was comfortable overall — I appreciated the daily room cleaning, the fresh toiletries, the friendly owner, the strong air-conditioning, the clean toilet, the multi-type socket by the bed, the fast Wi-Fi, the abundance of food nearby, the free microwave oven, the provided slippers, the hot shower anytime, and the hanger and hair dryer. The price was about 80 SGD per night, which is acceptable, though I do hope it could be a little cheaper. The single room’s size and lack of window may not suit everyone, especially taller guests, but it worked well for me.

Though small, this place has everything a big hotel offers. Victoria Harbour is just a 5-minute walk away. At 400 yuan for two nights, it's great value for money. There's also an underground mall next to the building, which is very convenient for meals. For a short visit, especially if you're getting an Octopus card, I'd recommend staying here. You get what you pay for, so don't expect too much for such a low price.

This hostel's location is absolutely unbeatable! It's just a few minutes' walk from Tsim Sha Tsui MTR Exit A, at 48 Haiphong Road. For anyone hitting the streets of Hong Kong, the convenience of getting around is a perfect 10. Even though I stayed in a dorm room, it was much better than I expected. The room wasn't damp and felt very cozy. I was on the 3rd floor in the male dorm, and I didn't find the street outside noisy at all at night. Everyone gets a locker with a key, which made me feel totally secure. Both the room and common areas were kept very clean; the cleaning lady was incredibly diligent. But what I have to praise the most is the landlady! She is genuinely super nice, incredibly kind, and gentle. My flight on the day of check-out was in the evening, and I still had plans for the afternoon. I asked if I could store my luggage, just to try my luck, and she immediately said yes, completely free of charge and without a deposit (this really touched me!). It allowed me to continue sightseeing without the burden of my bags. As for amenities, they are very traveler-friendly: free WiFi (stable signal), Mainland China sockets and universal adapters are provided, along with basic toiletries like toothbrushes and slippers. The common area has a fridge and microwave, making it convenient to store and prepare any food you buy. Overall, for this price in Hong Kong, to enjoy such a prime location, clean environment, and thoughtful service, the value for money is truly exceptional! It's especially suitable for backpackers looking to save on accommodation while still wanting a secure and conveniently located place. A big thank you to the landlady for her care; I'll definitely choose this place again next time I visit Hong Kong!

This hotel is super convenient! It's just a few minutes' walk (around 300 meters) from Wan Chai MTR station, and there are bus and tram stops right downstairs. Plus, there's a Starbucks just below, which is a lifesaver for coffee lovers. I stayed at the Empire Hotel Tsim Sha Tsui the night before, and in comparison, the Empire Hotel Wan Chai was more affordable and felt a bit newer. The room was small but spotless, and for Hong Kong hotel prices, it was excellent value for money.

Thanks for the birthday cakes for my dad. Location is great, everything is nearby. Great staff service, they greet you whenever they see you. Very old hotel but is well maintained. Room carpet definitely need to change as it has the typical old and dirty smell. Amenities is great. Gym is well equipped and 24hrs which is great. The hair dryer is way too old and weak. Maybe is time to change to a new one. There's filtered tap water in the room which is very good and environmental friendly. Overall is great. Check out is 11pm BTW. Realised most hotel in hkg and Macau need to check out at 11am which I find it weird as most hotel in the world check out at 12pm. Check in was 3pm but the room was only ready until 4pm. So that's kinda ridiculous when theres no extention of time to check out at 12pm.

We stayed here last September 2025, masasabi kong maganda na tong place na to and very safe ang lugar.. If your itinerary mostly in Tst, perfect tong place na to. Some of the tourist attractions halos Walking distance lang.. Si ate who assisted us ay super mabait. Since we arrived early, We asked her for early check in, then she allowed us without any extra fee.. 🥰 The elevator is too small, it can only fit 4 pax without luggage and 2 pax if you have big luggage. From Airport ride A21 bus, then baba lang mismo ng bus stop sa tst. Tawid sa kabila, yun na mismo yung bldg. I like the cr. Wala lang bidet so be ready, bring your own tabo 🤭 they prepared shampoo, body wash, toothbrush at toothpaste, free bottled water and pwede ipalinis ang room everyday. Pag tawid sa kabila mtr agad, then kowloon park. Free entrance.. sa likod naman may 7/11 na, also bake house...

AAnonymous UserThe hotel's location is excellent, and the entrance is very noticeable. It's close to the Wan Chai MTR station, and there are many great restaurants nearby. We arrived a bit early, and the front desk agent, Lina Liu, kindly arranged an early check-in for us since there was a room available. After dropping off our luggage, we were able to go out and explore right away. She also gave each of us a canvas bag; her service was warm and attentive. The room itself was great – clean, tidy, and bright, with disposable toothbrushes and toothpaste provided. As someone with sleep issues, I slept soundly for ten hours. All the front desk staff were very helpful and quick to respond to any requests. There's an outdoor pool and foot bath in the side wing, which was very relaxing for a massage after a day of walking. I didn't take any pictures of the hotel, so the images are of the nearby streetscape. I'll definitely come back again.

GGuest UserThis hotel definitely exceeded my expectations! For a price over HKD 1,000, I was expecting a tiny room in Hong Kong, but to my surprise, it was a suite. It had a living room with a sofa, coffee table, and dining table, and the bedroom had a super large bed. Plus, all the details in the bathroom were very clean. The hotel staff were very nice, and their Mandarin was good. Breakfast was semi-buffet style, where you could order one set meal, and all four I tried were delicious. You could even see parrots flying outside the window while having breakfast. The biggest advantage of this hotel is its convenient location. It's about two bus stops from Admiralty Station (or walkable, really), a 200-meter walk from the Peak Tram Macdonnell Road Station, and within walking distance of Hong Kong Park and Hong Kong Zoological and Botanical Gardens. Highly recommend!

YYas_miniThis was my second time staying at the hotel. And I was glad to see the upgraded an refreshed the towels. The hotel itself and room itself is kept well. The bathroom is clean and tidy. Only the half shower door isn’t very practical and all the water still goes out. The rain shower was broken in my room. The bedding was clean and comfy. But only two pillows are provided not 4. One of the towels had orange stains on it . The cleaning could be better as I found the counter tops still stained with glass or can marks . Clearly showing the counter tops were not wiped down. The floor had hair and there was dirt in some corners. The downside of this room is that it gets a lot of condensed. So on returning the floor would have moisture and condensation on it. It was just so annoying. Other than that it’s in a super convenient location.

WWhere are the JacksWe are a family of four. Stayed for 6 days in their family room. Room size is big for Hong Kong standards at 28 square meters with two double beds. 4500 Pesos per night, great Value for money. Different themed floors and rooms. Greece, Africa, cozi penguins etc. It has a playroom for kids. gym and sauna, also a swimming pool, but it's closed, open during summertime or July. Service is great. Staff are all nice. Spoke to them in english and Mandarin. MTR and Bus are only in front of the hotel, or about 300 meters. Connected to V CITY MALL, and connected to other malls, tuen men plaza, tuen men park etc. all via connecting Bridge. You can take the 33AX bus going from and to the airport. Only cost 17 HK dollars. Oh we went to a local catholic church for the easter sunday mass. It's in front of V City Mall. MTR takes you everywhere in HK very convenient yet cheap because it's not your usual touristy area like Tsim Sha Tsui.

GGuest UserWe had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. My husband and I stayed in one room, while my parents stayed in another. The bathroom and shower were very clean and comfortable. The view is definitely better on the higher floors — my parents stayed on the 31st floor and had a lovely view, while our room on the 12th floor didn’t have much of a view, but honestly, we were mostly there just to sleep. There was bottled water in the room upon arrival, but when we asked for more the next day, we were told to get it from the gym. Also, the cone-shaped paper cups in the gym were not very practical — that could be improved. On the positive side, the hotel has a gym for those interested. The location is very convenient. We used the tram frequently to explore Hong Kong, and it’s very close to the hotel. There is also a shopping mall nearby, plenty of places to eat, and a supermarket right across the street. The room overall was nice. There was a slight humidity smell, but that seems to be common in Hong Kong. Keeping the air conditioning on helps a lot. It would be great if the hotel had universal power outlets. Greetings from Turkey — Turkish guests would definitely enjoy staying at this hotel.

LLuna Blanca Ysmeralda⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had a great stay at Venetian Hostel in Tsim Sha Tsui! The location is honestly one of the best things about it — it’s right in the center of everything in TST. There are so many food places just outside the building, so finding something to eat was never a problem. The MTR is also very convenient, only about a 2-minute walk from TST Station Exit D2, which made commuting around Hong Kong super easy. If you’re coming from the airport by bus, you can simply stop at bus stop #14 (Mirador Mansion), which is very close to the hostel. Another thing we appreciated was the housekeeping. They collect the trash every day, so when we came back our bins were already clean. They also changed our bedsheets and towels even though we didn’t request it, which was a really nice touch. Just a small tip: they sometimes offer room upgrades when you arrive, but you can always say NO if you want to stick with your budget. We stayed on the 13th floor, and that floor has a free water refilling station (which the other floors don’t have), so that was a big plus for us. The only downside is that the elevator in the building can be very slow, especially during busy hours. But overall, the stay was comfortable, clean, and very convenient. Great option if you’re looking for a budget place in TST!

Bbb1979_2006I booked two adjoining double rooms. Though small, they had everything needed, and the hotel felt quite new and comfortable inside. It's located next to a highway, so there was some noise (rooms facing the small road on the opposite side would probably be quieter). I'd say the air conditioning unit was even louder. For breakfast, they offered one pastry and unlimited coffee refills. There was no bottled water in the room, and toiletries and slippers were not provided. It's about a 10-minute walk to Prince Edward MTR station. The value for money is much better than some of the older hotels.
