"Overall a nice stay with a few hiccups along the way. •Beautiful room but the AC wasn’t blowing cool air as needed, but I was provided an option to move or a large fan for my room~ thank you. As a complimentary thank you a beautiful bottle of champagne was sent to my room. I appreciate that gesture. •Breakfast was delicious. •When calling a car, plan to wait as the que can take awhile due to the central location. ( watch your time)  Thanks for a nice stay overall."

"Although the single room didn't have a window, it wasn't stuffy, and the bathroom area was quite spacious, which was perfect for a solo traveler. The hotel's location is excellent, making it easy to find and convenient for getting a taxi. The front desk staff were all very friendly and helpful, and they genuinely allowed a late check-out until 2 PM."

"Great location within walking distance from Jingan Temple line 2 metro station. Lots of free goodies such as soft drinks, tea, coffee, water. Helpful front desk staff. Plenty of nearby cafes restaurants, shopping options and even table tennis, badminton, basketball, tennis, archery!!! Bring your own racquets though. There is even a Nike running lab nearby. The kids enjoyed the friendly resident cats in the lobby."

"Very convenient downtown location. My sister and I really enjoyed our stay. The service attitude was excellent! Check-in was polite and the service was thoughtful. They were very helpful and understanding when answering our questions about our stay. Facilities are great, very tranquil. The lobby has a woody scent. The room interior was clean, and the lighting was bright enough. Check-out service was also excellent. I'll definitely stay here again if I have the chance."

"I recently stayed at Yitel Premium and absolutely loved it! The location is amazing—right in the heart of the pedestrian street, so it's super convenient to walk anywhere. It's also really close to a famous Xiaolongbao restaurant, and DiDi drivers can pick you up right in front of the hotel. The hotel itself is very clean, and housekeeping did a great job cleaning my room every single day. The best part was that my stay coincided with my birthday, and the staff was so sweet to upgrade my room for free! The service here is top-notch. I also loved the complimentary tea and coffee in the lobby, and the free washing machine was a huge plus. The only minor things were a slight cigarette smell that probably came through the AC vents, which was understandable. However, the only real downside was that my room faced the main road, so the traffic noise was quite loud. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I highly recommend it!"

"I booked this hotel based on a friend's recommendation, and I'm glad I did. The room facilities are well-maintained, and the customer service is excellent. They even offer room service until after 10:30 PM! We also enjoyed a delicious dinner at the Chinese restaurant on the second floor – my kids loved it! While the breakfast buffet isn't super extensive, the quality of the food is very good. The location is fantastic, right next to Jing'an Temple and Jiuguang Department Store, making it super convenient for dining and shopping. Public transport is also easily accessible. The only minor downside is that the road outside can get quite congested, especially when trying to hail a taxi. It's fine if you're not in a rush, but it can be a bit of a hassle if you're on a tight schedule."

"This hotel's location is truly excellent. It's just a few minutes' walk from Metro Line 2, and the best part is it's only a 5-minute walk to Nanjing East Road. We could easily go back to the hotel to rest when we got tired from shopping and then head out again. The cleanliness is also superb, and the service is great. I really liked the scent of the toiletries too. I'll definitely choose this place again when I visit Shanghai in the future. Highly recommended! My child was very happy. The breakfast was also rich and varied, and the front desk staff were so kind and friendly. Five stars!"

"My flight back from Shanghai was quite late, so checking out early wasn't convenient. After I explained the situation, the front desk staff very graciously extended my check-out time by two hours, free of charge. It's peak summer travel season, so the hotel is clearly busy, yet they still managed to provide such a thoughtful and flexible service – that's truly rare. I've stayed in many hotels, but only Atour has offered such a warm and generous extended check-out service. The hotel itself is very comfortable, with meticulous and attentive service, and all facilities are complete. Its location is also excellent, making it super convenient for getting around and sightseeing. I sincerely appreciate this heartwarming gesture from the hotel; my experience was absolutely fantastic. Next time I'm in Shanghai, this will definitely be my first choice again!"

"The location is great, close to everything. They upgraded me to a king-size bed, which was a nice touch. The hotel has a minimalist style and the cleanliness is acceptable. All the staff members were very friendly. This was my first stay at Atour, and the biggest impression was the excellent bedding. The pillows were comfortable and the duvet was silent, which is so important for light sleepers. I would definitely stay here again if I have the chance."

"The night duty manager at the hotel was excellent, efficiently and politely resolving the issue of our room not being cleaned. As an apology for the oversight, they offered two complimentary breakfasts, which they said were not usually included. However, upon arriving at the restaurant, we were met with disdain from the restaurant manager, who stared at me impolitely as if I was going to steal from the buffet. Another female manager behaved similarly. I wanted to ask, do I owe you money? Why is the male manager so enthusiastic towards foreign guests? Do I, a fellow Chinese national, not deserve your service? And to the other female manager, you are very observant; you immediately brought two cups of coffee after your supervisor arrived late. Don't guests who are not your supervisors deserve your service? As a Chinese person, I find such behavior utterly shameful."
