"The service was incredibly warm and friendly. The breakfast was delicious (though not ideal if you're a big meat-eater, as there wasn't much meat), and for our two-night stay, the hot dishes were never repeated. Plus, you get a great ocean view from the restaurant seating. The hotel is located in Cijin. We took the ferry from Hamasen MRT (light rail) station to Cijin, walked through the old street to the hotel. There's a FamilyMart and 7-Eleven nearby, so you don't have to worry about going hungry. The beach is just a five-minute walk away, and they even provide buckets and shovels for playing in the sand. Just a quick note: there are two ferry routes to Cijin – one from Gushan Ferry Terminal (NT$30) and another from Pier-2 Art Center (NT$80). The ferries from Gushan, though a bit older, are much more frequent (less than a 10-minute wait between boats, and I'm not sure about off-peak times) and run for much longer hours (I heard from 5 AM to 2 AM). The hotel room was quite spacious but a bit dated (my only complaint), though it was very clean."

"Location is excellent as its near all tourist places, even though the place is quiet and nice to stay. We also got free bicycle renting to explore things around there too, this is not note in hotel facility, but hotel has got it. My mom needs to sit on wheelchair, but the place is quite convenient to her to get service in hotel. The room is clean, bed is great, toilet equipped with warm seat as well. I like the soap and shampoo at hotel, smell is so nice. At the guest lobby my kid is happy with snack, drink that provided, also i can have coffee at all the time from there as well.. i think we made right decision that we stayed here for 2 nights, the time was great there. thanks for good service."

"The harbor views are absolutely breathtaking, and breakfast is health-conscious and nourishing, perfect for relaxing and taking stunning photos. However, the room only provided two miniature bottles of water, and there's no water dispenser, so tea enthusiasts will be left parched 🥲. You have to pay extra for toothbrushes and toothpaste. The 10 CNY set was a terrible purchase; the toothpaste was so dry, it felt like it had been sealed for an eternity. At 10:40 AM, there was a 'friendly' reminder about extending our stay, then at 11:00 AM sharp, the power was cut, feeling like a timed mission in an RPG ⚡. "The hotel location is quite convenient; there is a convenient stall a short stroll away and is near to the metro at Kao Hsiung park. The lightings were quite nice as it is near CNY period. Room that I book kinda cozy but the way it is design makes it rather comfortable. The bed is comfortably huge. Toilet and bath is two separate rooms and would be a pleasure for those who like such arrangement. Breakfast is base on set menu booking, there is only 4 to select from. The misgiving I had is that trip.com didn't allow had to option of a room with single breakfast therefore I had to pick a room with either 2 sets a day or no breakfast. If your staying more days, do take note of the breakfast arrangement though I have to say the meal is quite healthy and well packaged. Another thing which I like is the AI display audio system which can play music of your preference, for me I played some nice new age music to make my day more relaxing."

"The stay was wonderful! It was my first time travelling solo, and I booked a single room. I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious it was. There was plenty of room to move around comfortably, and the bathroom was also very large. One thing to note is that the air conditioning turns on automatically when you’re in the room and cannot be switched off manually. Also, be careful when entering the bathroom, as the floor is slightly elevated compared to the main room, which can be easy to miss at first. (the bathroom floor and room floor is not the same height). Another thing to keep in mind is that the hotel reception is located on the 5th floor. Upon arrival, you need to take a short flight of stairs to reach the area where the elevator is located before taking the lift up to reception. This may be less convenient for elderly guests or those with mobility issues, especially if they are travelling with heavy luggage. Overall, I had a very comfortable stay and would happily recommend this hotel to solo traveller and couple/friends travellers😍👍"

"Great location, 2 minutes walk away from the pier 2. The culture shops in warehouses are 1 minutes away. It is also right next to the international music center with beautiful architecture, as well as a park around. Light rails and bus stops are also close by. Great trail along the water way. The rotating bridge, the longest in Aisa rotates every day 3pm SHARP, is right in sight. Plenty restaurants and shops on the other side of the water way across the bridge. Many noodle shops (at least 3) as well as convenient stores are within walking distance. The hotel room is relatively small, but cozy. It is clean and has good layout inside. The room has a good view of the street. The hotel staff are also friendly, quite accessible and helpful, with one exception when one of the days it ran out of tooth paste, which is unreasonably expensive if you had to buy one in OK shop right next to the hotel. The hotel provides a coffee machine with free ground coffee, very convenient if you want to grab a cup of Americano or cappocciino in the morning right out of the bed. The hotel also provides laundry facilities in the basement with a washer and a dryer, even though the capacity is way over the amount of worn clothes in several days. Had wished the hotel had a simple gym, well, I guess I have to do without this time. Overall it has been a good staying experience."

"The location is near the Wenwu Temple station of the light rail, requiring an additional 5-6 minute walk. This time, I stayed in a double room by myself, and the space was quite large for me, as well as clean and tidy. The room provided bottled water, and there was also a water dispenser available on each floor. The downside is that slippers were not provided. Because I had read the reviews beforehand, I brought my own disposable slippers to use."

"The location is wonderful and it's less than 2 minutes walk to the LRT station. Room is just nice for 2 persons but it smells a little. Toiletries are upon request but the hotel is not charging and it makes so much sense."

"We had a wonderful stay at Legend Hotel Pier 2. We were pleasantly surprised when our room was upgraded because it was a quieter season, which made our trip even more enjoyable. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The hotel also felt very safe and secure, giving us peace of mind throughout our visit. Its location is another huge plus -- it’s within walking distance of train stations, bus stops, and even Pier-2 Art Center, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. The staff were also warm, welcoming, and always happy to help, and the breakfast exceeded our expectations with its delicious selection. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again."

"The lobby environment is superb. The front desk staff are friendly and easy to communicate with; they greet us almost every time we enter or leave. Overall, the environment is excellent. The double bed is large and very comfortable, with enough space for two people to move around. It's definitely worth revisiting. It's very close to the MRT station. The convenience store is about a 5-10 minute walk, but there are several bubble tea shops and restaurants downstairs, which is very convenient. It was a pleasant surprise to find a water dispenser in the room, perfect for making instant noodles. The room space is smaller than it appears in the photos, but still sufficient for two people and a large suitcase. It would be even better if a luggage rack was provided. Also, the air conditioner in the room blows directly onto the head of the bed, but we solved this by simply sleeping in the opposite direction. The curtains let light in during the morning, and the front desk said they don't provide eye masks. Those who require high sleep quality might want to consider this. The bathroom is very spacious, with a separate shower and toilet. However, the lighting is insufficient for applying makeup, so we ended up doing it by the window using natural light."
