It’s an absolute bliss to stay in Suginoya, a luxurious ryokan in Saga. Our saga beef sukiyaki dinner was truly memorable as the quality of the meat was top notch- so soft yet flavorful, something we will remember for a long time. We enjoyed relaxing in the private and public bath, soaking in the zen vibes of the hotel and lounging in the spacious and comfortable room. Staff was friendly and tried to converse in English as best as possible. 100% recommend as we felt fully pampered here like it was our honeymoon all over again!

Guest UserI stayed at this hotel for a few days during my trip, and I highly recommend it! The location is fantastic. One exit from the JR station leads directly to the Combox shopping mall (where the supermarket on the first floor offers 50% off at 7 PM and 20% off at 6 PM), and also to what seems to be the most bustling street in the area – probably a main thoroughfare. At night, the trees lining the street outside are beautifully decorated with light strips. The JR station itself has plenty of great food options, so even if you're a bit late for lunch, there's no need to worry. On the other side, just a 2-minute walk away at the intersection, is the Comfort Hotel. Although it's not large, and the rooms are small and compact in a Japanese style, they are very clean. The rooms seem to have central heating; it felt warm as soon as I entered, as shown in picture three. Both check-in and check-out are self-service at machines by the entrance, which can be switched to Simplified Chinese, making the process smooth and seamless. If I had any issues during my stay, the hotel staff were patient listeners and actively helpful. The breakfast was also excellent; while not a huge variety, the taste was great, as seen in picture two.

As most of the Toyoko Inn, this one locates next to the JR Saga station and is pretty convenient for traffic.
The room is relatively big compared to other hotel with new stuff.

My first experience in Saga. I got a good deal on a flight ticket during the cherry blossom season. I landed in Fukuoka and then headed south to Saga. It was very convenient and there were not many people during the cherry blossom season. The hotel was just opposite Saga Station. I was still debating whether to change to a comfort inn, but found that it was fully booked for the days I wanted to stay. So I thought forget it. A business hotel for 300+, with a bath at night and meals included in the morning, what more could I ask for!

Although there is a price range in the Huluyu hot spring, there are plenty of private houses and open-air baths. Although it is not a polite form of reception, it is very kind and inconvenient. Especially the food is very good

Anonymous UserThe hotel boasts an excellent location, offering incredibly convenient access for exploring both the city center and surrounding areas. The rooms are a good size, immaculately clean, and the housekeeping service is exceptionally thorough. Both the front desk and room service staff were very warm and attentive. The breakfast was also particularly delicious. This is definitely a highly recommended hotel.

Check-in was simple. Bicycle rental was 500 yen per day. The building is right next to the main road, with cars passing by all night, so the soundproofing is terrible. The room and kitchen are separated by a curtain, making it very noisy—noise from all sorts of sources. However, the hostel atmosphere was nice, and they provided free earplugs. Everything else, like towels, cost extra, and the towels actually had a distinctly sour smell, which was disgusting. This was the first time I'd stayed in such a poorly hygienic place in Japan. Towels cost 100 yen, and a small cup of cola costs 300 yen. I recommend bringing your own towels.

Saga is a quiet and pleasant city. The hotel facilities are a bit old, but its location is excellent, very close to the JR station and with bus stops nearby, making it convenient to visit attractions like Saga Castle and the Hot Air Balloon Museum. The hotel service is great, and they offer a public bath, which is a nice touch. The breakfast spread is quite generous. The 10:00 AM check-out time is a bit early, but they do offer free luggage storage, which is helpful. Overall, I'm satisfied!

Very good, is the ideal place for backpackers. A room A alone, big enough, clean facilities, although I will slightly hear someone talking next door, but it does not prevent a person from sleeping. Although the stairs upstairs (2nd floor) are a bit steep, but once a day, go upstairs and go downstairs. According to the information provided by the email, you are not a senior backpacker and have no ability to do things. You must contact the administrator in advance. The location is also very good, about 1.4 kilometers from the station, providing instant coffee. The fly in the ointment is that there is no refrigerator. If you go to Saga, you will still live here.
