Hotels near Imaizumi Park, Fukuoka

Access: 5 minute walk from the Hakata Hub Station (subway, bus, JR, etc.). Shops: Convenient access to shopping malls such ad Kitte, Amu, etc. 30 second walk to 7-11, Ikkosha ramen shop 2 minute walk. Standard Japanese hotel room. Yes, it’s not big, but perfectly fine. All rooms here are pretty much the same. (Unless if you’re willing to shell out 20k minimum for US brand hotels). If you need big look somewhere else.

The room was clean and tidy, and the service was warm and attentive. I had a great stay and highly recommend it! I particularly want to mention that due to my own health reasons, I suffered severe insomnia for two consecutive nights and couldn't continue my trip, so I had to check out early and return home. During the checkout process, a front desk staff member named Zhang patiently and warmly assisted me. He went above and beyond, thinking of everything for me and doing his best to communicate with the booking agent, ultimately securing a successful refund. I want to express my special thanks to him here. I've uploaded a picture of his name tag. I also want to thank Trip.com's customer service for their kind communication throughout; I didn't have to worry about a thing. Their handling was efficient and sincere, definitely a five-star review!

I booked a twin room in the front building. Even with the windows closed, I could sometimes hear traffic outside, and there were often loud motorcycles late at night. It wasn't enough to disturb my sleep, though. The room was very clean and spacious, with two beds and enough room to open two large suitcases, which was great. I also pre-paid for breakfast when booking. Although it was the same for all six days, it was delicious! Every morning, they had roasted beef slices, along with fried chicken or other side dishes. A cup of Japanese coffee or matcha with milk was a nice touch. The location is super convenient, situated between Watanabe-dori and Yakuin stations. There's a 24-hour supermarket nearby, and it's a short walk to the Tenjin shopping area. It's a highly recommended hotel!

This hotel has just been renovated and is very close to the Tenjin shopping district, within a 10-minute walk. However, once you step out of the room, you are immediately outdoors (like an outdoor staircase), so those who mind should choose carefully. The room we picked has a small kitchen area, and you can borrow utensils from the front desk for free, which is a nice touch.

I stayed here for two nights right after landing in Fukuoka, and even as a solo traveler, the room felt incredibly cramped. I quickly switched hotels on the third day. The room was tiny and dated, giving off a vibe reminiscent of a guesthouse from the last century. You basically stepped out of the door and were immediately at the bed. My suitcase could only perch precariously on a folding luggage rack. The cleanliness was mediocre. The bathroom seemed quite clean and looked like it had been thoroughly scrubbed, but the room walls were very dirty with black marks. It wasn't until I opened my suitcase and its wheels rubbed against the wall that I realized where those black marks came from. Even though it was a non-smoking floor, the air in the room wasn't great. After just one night, my tonsils became inflamed. Those with sensitivities should definitely avoid this place. Toiletries and bathrobes were self-service in the lobby downstairs. The small packets of toner and lotion were surprisingly good, and the compressed exfoliating mitt was also quite useful. Drinking water wasn't provided, but there was a self-service laundry room. The hotel's location is pretty good, though. Le Labo is directly across the street, and there are many trendy shops and restaurants nearby. Tenjin shopping district is also within walking distance. It was quite cheap when I booked it, so I won't complain too much. It's suitable for backpackers.

Very conveniently located in the Nakasu/Hakata area. Easy walk to the shopping district. Our room was much smaller/tighter than expected. It listed suitable for 4 to stay so i was expecting 2 Twin beds. Instead we had 2 Singles which meant one child had to sleep on the floor. They brought blankets to try to make it more pleasant. The breakfast area is not very big. On days that there were tour groups leaving, it was a wait to get a seat and the food would be finished so fast. There were not enough staff to keep up with refilling the food. Otherwise, the food was actually quite good and enjoyable. They also had complimentary wine during happy hour which we appreciated.

The front desk staff were very welcoming, and the location is excellent. The only minor issue is that the bathroom exhaust fan doesn't have a separate switch, so if you're sensitive to noise, you'll need to ask the front desk to turn it off. Overall, it's a great place and highly recommended.

This is our second stay here in two years, and now it's packed with Koreans. There were Korean staff at the front desk, but no Chinese-speaking staff this time. The cleanliness was a bit of a surprise; it's the first time I've encountered something like this in Japan – there was still lipstick on the cups, and the landline phone was covered in dust. It's a bit of a walk from the subway station, but a taxi to the airport was less than 3,000 JPY.

Hotel very close to domestic airport. Walking takes about 15mins. There's complimentary airport shuttle bus in the morning. Last departure at 10am. From domestic airport, need to transfer another shuttle bus located at platform 1 to international airport. Breakfast started serving at 6am which is good for those with early flights. Rooms are clean.

Extremely satisfied with this stay! 👍 I've stayed at this hotel's Ginza location in Tokyo before, and this was my first time at the Fukuoka Tenjin hotel. The room was cozy, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious! The bathtub 🛁 was large enough for a relaxing soak. Downstairs there's a 24-hour sushi restaurant, and a 7-Eleven right in the building – so convenient! I'll definitely be back to stay again! Highly recommend!
