KKR HOTEL is conveniently located just above the Takebashi metro station. Although I wasn’t able to book a room with the palace view, the city view I got was amazing. The clear and broad skyline was a pleasure to look at everyday.
The hotel room is very spacious, which is a plus for Japanese hotels.
One negative aspect during my stay is the water pressure of the shower and faucet. It is VERY WEAK and it seems the staff could not help nor fix. It is rather annoying.

This was my first time staying at a capsule hotel. I'm not sure since I didn't see them, but I think there were proper single rooms on the 3rd floor. I chose a cheaper floor, which resulted in a bedroom with a low ceiling. Aside from it being a bit cramped, everything else was great – the cleanliness and management of the shared facilities like the showers and restrooms were excellent. There are three subway stations nearby, making it convenient to go anywhere. The area around the hotel is mainly offices, so it's quiet. I could sleep peacefully, and just a short walk away are the bustling Kanda area and Tokyo Station. If I go to Tokyo again (alone), I wouldn't hesitate to book this place.

I stayed for a few days and felt very comfortable; this hostel is pretty great overall. They have a buffet, so food is very convenient. The staff are all very friendly and patient when you have questions. Downstairs, there's a coffee shop and a water dispenser, which makes daily life very easy. The room was clean and tidy, and didn't feel cramped at all. I stayed in a six-person room, but there were only four of us, so there was plenty of space. The window faced the street, and the view was decent. Overall, it was a very reassuring stay.

The location is good, with a university nearby. It's about a three to five-minute walk from Jimbocho Station's A2 exit. The hotel entrance is on a corner, and there's a 7-Eleven right across the street, which is super convenient. Check-out is at 11 AM. I booked a king-size bed, which was very large, though the hallways, as is common in Japan, are quite narrow. A 28-inch suitcase can be opened if laid sideways. The lobby has a lounge area with water and coffee, as well as disposable towels. Upon check-in, you receive pajamas, free drip coffee, and toiletries. If you're staying multiple nights and need housekeeping, you must notify the front desk before 10 AM. Even if you're a minute late, they won't clean your room, at most they'll just empty the trash bin. The room was very clean, and overall, I'm very satisfied.

This was my first time experiencing a capsule hotel, and I was amazed by how well everything was organized. The hotel is designed with a clear separation for two genders: male guests stay on the second and third floors, while female guests are on the seventh and eighth floors. There is a shared common room where everyone can relax, work, or chat — the transparent glass walls offer stunning views of the surrounding area, making it a delightful place to unwind.
Each guest is assigned a personal locker, which can be accessed using a unique card with a QR code linked to the capsule number — a thoughtful and secure system. Male and female bathrooms are located on separate floors, but there are also toilets conveniently available on the capsule floors for nighttime use. It’s impressive how much thought went into the design of this space.
A nice touch was the complimentary tonic booster drink for guests. Overall, the capsule experience was unique and enjoyable. I do wonder if capsule hotels for couples exist — that would be an interesting concept to try!

The hotel was very good. I was able to leave my bags in the reception area when I arrived earlier than expected, so I could go and explore hands free.
It was clean, it was in a good location, slightly hard to find at first but after that all good. Fast WiFi, it had a charging port for usb on the bed and then it had a plug on the desk.
It had a shower and bath area. It came with shampoo, co conditioner, body wash etc.
The only bad thing I have to say is that the bed was quite hard compared to what I’m used to. A lot of people prefer that but I didn’t get the best nights sleep because of this. That’s the only thing I will say though. The staff were super helpful, housekeeping calls at 10am to clear your bin which is great!
All in all very good I would stay again.

This is a great hotel! They provide toiletries, pajamas, and even charging cables and curling irons, so you really don't need to bring anything when staying at a Sotetsu series hotel. Although this particular branch in Jimbocho is a bit of a walk from the station, the area is full of bookstores and restaurants, making for a fantastic atmosphere.

Located in Shimbashi Station, Minato Ward, it's only about 1km from Tokyo Tower. Shimbashi Station offers incredibly convenient access to Shibuya and Shinjuku. There's also a smoking room, the hygiene is decent, and the facilities are comprehensive. They have coin-operated washing machines and a large public area with a microwave and a refrigerator. The toilet even comes with sanitary pads. A FamilyMart convenience store is just a few steps away, and there are vending machines right outside the entrance. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Tokyo.

Probably the best hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The location is great and very well connected to all the spots I wanted to go to. The hostel was incredibly clean especially the bathrooms and staff came in and tidied regularly. I stayed in one of the pod beds which was surprisingly very comfortable too. The downstairs area was very nice and the staff were super accommodating, the lady (I forgot to ask her name 😔) on the front desk was lovely and offered me some local snacks, asked me how my day had been and offered some suggestions of places to visit. I would certainly come back to here if I visit Tokyo again.

Great
GGuest UserIt wasn't bad, but it wasn't great either. I was surprised that parking was charged, but I was even more surprised by how few options there were at the breakfast buffet. This may be due to the rising cost of living, but other nearby hotels had cheaper rates and more varied breakfast buffets, so to me it just didn't compare. I regret having had oddly high expectations, thinking that it must be better because it was expensive. It was painful to see my child disappointed.
GGuest UserWe were staying at this hotel in mind that we are touring western part of Tokyo. We went Takao mountain. It’s a very mild hiking and it has a day-use onsen. from the hotel, it’s about 30min away on local train.
AAnonymous UserI really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Emisia. The location is super convenient. Very close to Tachikawa Station, with Lawson and 7-Eleven right next door, and Donki just across the street. Finding food around the area was also very easy. Such a strategic spot!
The room was comfortable and quite spacious by Tokyo standards. The bed was cozy and everything was clean. Overall, a great stay.
All the hotel staff were very kind and helpful. I accidentally broke a wheel on a chair and reported it, but they kindly reassured me saying “daijoubu, daijoubu.” So sweet 🥹
Amenities were also complete. Highly recommended!
YYingyangdepingguoI have to give this place a shout-out! The hotel location is super convenient, right next to the subway station. The room was clean and bright, and the bedding was so comfortable it felt like sleeping on a cloud. The front desk staff, especially the ladies, were incredibly thoughtful. The breakfast had a great variety, and the value for money is really high. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town. Highly recommended!
GGuest UserThe accommodation was so much better than what I thought! It's spacious and comfortable with the window view of the trees and 5 minute walk from the train station and Mt Takao trail. Youhei who greeted us at reception was outstanding in his customer service, he explained there would be vegan breakfast served daily as I put a request for vegan and didn't get a response that there would be vegan breakfast and he gave us tips on how to use the amenities here and how to communicate to the restaurant staff about our request. We enjoyed the bonfire and cooking corn which tasted amazing. The feedback I would give is the young Japanese woman who served us for dinner on the first night on Friday 12th July at 8pm, she was very quick to get the bill and take the money without being patient and focused, it felt like we we're not welcomed. Other than that I would come back again!
GGuest UserI had initially wanted to cancel this booking and switch to another hotel because of the distance, but I couldn't manage to do it. So, I arrived with a bit of a complaint. However, I was pleasantly surprised upon arrival. It's right outside the subway exit – truly the most conveniently located place I've ever stayed! It lived up to Toyoko Inn's usual standard: clean and with hot water. My only minor issue was that the air conditioner blew directly onto the bed in summer, which isn't ideal for sensitive sleepers like myself. The surrounding area is very well-equipped with amenities, making it incredibly convenient.
GGuest UserThe hotel is near many restaurants, izakayas and bar. There are malls/shopping centre. It's also close to the station (both jr line and odakyu line). Polite Staff, they understand english, and can speak a little bit of english. The room was a bit small, if you had 2 or more luggage, it will be hard to store in your room. They have smoking area on some floor, and laundry room on 8th floor (costs 1k yen). Def will come back again if their price is competitive (30-40$)
FFeixiangdefeigegeFacilities: Older, feels like the 1990s.
Sanitation: Very clean, even Japanese hotels are clean.
Environment: The surroundings are good, right next to the subway, it's not an exaggeration to say it's right at your doorstep.
Service: Hotel services are in place
GGuest UserI stayed at Beautiful Kamiya Resort for two nights. Location location location! At Mitake station there are lockers to store luggage. They fit a carry on for sure but maybe even a large suitcase. 500 yen for up to three days. I was outdoors the majority of the time but was at ease knowing a comfortable warm bed and hot bath awaits me. The kitchen is very basic but good for simple meals. Electric cook top, microwave, hot water pot, refrigerator etc. The bad tub is almost as large as a car. Separate toilet and tub areas. Lots of power outlets throughout. Plenty of hot water and clean towels. There is some traffic noise but not a big deal at least for me. This area is absolutely beautiful. Mountains, trees, river, friendly shop keepers and amazing hiking. It rained everyday except my last day of course. It was not really a rain but more like a Seattle mist. I was able to hike the entire main loop but did not peak Mt Otake as I did not have the correct footwear. There is a bus from 30 yards south of the Mitake train station that departs to the Mt Mitake cable car. The entire day round trip is about 1200 yen but honestly I did not keep track down to the penny. I had the most delicious cold udon dish ever at the Small village about 1/2 mile hike above the cable car station. They used local mountain vegetables. My first time ever to taste wild Miatake mushroom tempura. I was in heaven! Cons: no convenience stores in the area however there is a small store between the public train station restrooms and the train station. Lights from the street and nearby buildings come through some windows but there is a window shuttle that can be closed. It's 5-7 minutes walk to and from the Mitake train station. Having a car would be more convenient. I did not try any taxi service so I'm not sure if there is the option.
