"This hotel is strategically located in the heart of Shinjuku, approximately 10 minutes away from Shinjuku Station. It is also very close to Kabukicho, which is approximately a 5-minute walk away. Convenience stores like Lawson and Family Mart are a stone's throw away, and there are many restaurants in the vicinity. However, we were surprised that instead of Japanese restaurants, we were surrounded by Korean restaurants and even a Korean grocery store. Having said that, the room is not too small for two people. With its price, I would say it's quite a good deal."

"Location is 15 mins to Shinjuku station but along the way quite a lots to see. I’m enjoy the price offered for this location and distance. Laundry a bit expensive with 600 yen for 1kg. The location is next to night clubs too (you can choose to walk to Shinjuku station with other street) and worst is the hotel signboard is not obvious as it is small and in front of the hotel, , comparing to others to put up big and tall at the junction. You will easily miss it as I have walked back 3 times and finally found it by looking for white building"

"The hotel is very conveniently located.The metro station is right next to the hotel. There are cafes, shops and restaurants all around. The train station is also very close. The room is very small. They clean well. I didn't like the breakfast at all-they provide a voucher for a cup of coffee and a plump cold sandwich. Choose the option without breakfast-for this money you can have breakfast in a cafe much better."

"We stayed for 4 nights. Walls and a ceiling in our room was covered with mold. We saw it on the second day. Also there was a lot of mold in bathroom. Ventilation in this hotel is one big mold… I advise not to choose this hotel at all. Me and my husband woke up with swollen faces and hands, thou we are not allergic to anything, but it all was a cause of the unhealthy air in the room. We asked in the reception to for a different room, but the hotel was fully booked. They offered us CLEANING the mold, but it’s a misunderstanding because nothing was cleaned 😂 they left a letter that they did the cleaning while the mold was still very visible in the room.  Breakfasts were good, nothing extraordinary but just OK."

"Fantastic location! Right in the heart of Kabukicho, with convenience stores and restaurants galore just downstairs 🍜. The room was surprisingly spacious and very clean. The soundproofing was excellent once the windows were closed, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The front desk staff offered Chinese-speaking service, making communication a breeze, and they even helped us store our luggage. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Tokyo! 🗼"

"I was a bit worried because there weren't many reviews, but this place turned out to be absolutely perfect! The capsule itself was super cozy, and the amenities were well-prepared. Shin-Okubo station really feels like a Korean town – everywhere you look, there are Korean restaurants with Hangeul signs, K-pop is playing in the shops, and there are even photo booths integrated into the Japanese streets. It was such a unique sight to see Korea blended into the Japanese landscape. This great location, combined with the fact that the accommodation had just been renovated and was so clean, really made a huge difference to my trip and made it incredibly enjoyable. I'd definitely love to stay here again on my next visit! 😊"

"The location, room, and services provided are good. They provide room cleaning service every 4 days, but provide clean towels and 2 bottles of water on a daily basis. However, I would say their breakfast needs major improvements. Every day the same food was provided. We stayed there for 5 days and saw exactly the same food every day (less than 10 options, and this is including salad side dishes). The breakfast time is 7-9 am, the canteen will not refill food by 8:30 and also starts cleaning up the coffee machines, etc., meaning if you reach the place by 8:30, there will just be ice water and bread left. So if you want to book this hotel, better not to include breakfast, save the money and get something from Lawson / 7-11 which are very nearby the hotel."

"This hotel is super convenient! It's right by a subway station and a convenience store. It's also really close to central Shinjuku, and you can walk to Kabukicho Ichibangai in just over 10 minutes. Self check-in is a breeze, and you can store your luggage here too. Plus, you can grab complimentary toiletries and bath amenities from downstairs. There are also a few small restaurants right across the street, which is really handy for meals."

"The location is great! It's very close to the 3D cat and Godzilla. There's also a 7-Eleven and Family Mart near the hotel. However, if you're a light sleeper, it might be a bit difficult. Since it's right on the main road, there's a lot of noise from police cars and ambulances throughout the night. But overall, it's not bad at all."

"Staying at APA Hotel & Resort Kabukicho Tower was such a great experience, especially for a first-timer in Tokyo. I genuinely loved how convenient everything was—the airport limousine bus stops just beside the hotel, and it’s very close to Shinjuku Station, making it super easy to get around the city. The rooms are on the smaller side (as expected in Tokyo), but they’re thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and had everything I needed—honestly perfect after a long day out exploring. The staff are also incredibly friendly and accommodating, which made the stay even more pleasant and hassle-free. One of my favorite parts was the onsen on the top floor. After walking around the city all day, soaking there was incredibly relaxing and the perfect way to recharge for another day of adventures. Definitely a place I’d recommend for both convenience and comfort!"
