"I stayed here twice, once on arrival and again the day before my flight home. The first time, I was a bit disappointed because I was on the 5th floor and my window looked out onto a terrace. However, my second stay was on the 9th floor with an amazing view overlooking Nairobi National Park, which really boosted my overall impression! I could even spot giraffes and ostriches with binoculars. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with absolutely no complaints. Security was also excellent. I had expected there to be more shops within the building, but aside from about three restaurants, most of the other spaces were vacant. So, for any shopping, you'll need to venture outside."

"I booked this hotel two months in advance, paying 980 RMB per night including breakfast. However, on the day I checked in, my colleague found the price was 580 RMB per night with breakfast. Early check-in cost an extra $30. I appreciated that the power outlets were universal Chinese type, so I didn't need an adapter. The breakfast offered steamed buns, noodles, and chopsticks. While it was nothing special, it was decent enough. The outdoor seating at the restaurant was very comfortable. On the downside, the room facilities were outdated, and the hygiene was just average. There was a strange smell from the wardrobe and the sink, and some areas were quite dirty. On the positive side, the staff were all very nice. If the price had been under 500 RMB per night, I would have found it acceptable. But paying nearly 1000 RMB per night, I felt like I got a raw deal."

"Overall this hotel was good. The breakfast food spread was amazing and the A-la-cart items you could order at dinner were very fancy and delicious. The staff was friendly and kind (but they often seemed overwhelmed with work). There was a huge walking path in the back of the lot. The grounds were beautiful. The hotel was clean. The gym was small; it included a rack of dumbbells, two or three treadmills, an elliptical machine, and one yoga mat. The water jug in the gym was empty. We wouldn’t stay here again because there are really nice hotels nearby for 1/3 of the cost. Maybe the food variety wouldn’t be as good as Eka, or less beautiful grounds, but Eka was not worth the extra cost. We stayed two nights and the entire time couldn’t see where the $125 a night value was coming from. Sadly, the other Nairobi hotel ratings on Trip are lower, like 3.5. An example hotel is Maison Royale. But if you’re looking for a good hotel just a bit less fancy, go somewhere else."

"Loved the warm friendliness, the comfortable room, great breakfast, and the view of zebra and ostrich at the nearby waterhole. Only surprise during our entire stay, start to finish, was the poor quality of the brewed coffee at breakfast. Kenya's coffee is better than that! We'll be back, to try the coffee again!!"

"+ Suites spacieuses, bel hotel, staff plutôt poli, room service bon et abordable, sauna, petits kits dans la salle de bain (sachets hygièniques, charlottes, savons, crèmes, brosse à dents…). - Wifi très lent, on ne capte pas dans la chambre…finitions qui laissent à désirer (1 peignoir troué sur 2, 1 serviette sur 4 également, porte de la chambre mal vissée qui ne se ferme pas, usure à certains endroits…), odeur d’égouts provenant des canalisations dans la salle de bain (nous l’avons constaté dans 2 suites sur les 3 réservées), staff peu réactif : mauvaise prise en charge du linge, room service lent…ils promettent de vous rappeler quelques minutes après mais ne le font pas. Ils ont donc récupéré mon linge 1 jour après ma demande. Ma soeur n’a jamais été rappelée. En ramenant mon linge et ce malgré la fiche bien remplie, ils voulaient me faire payer plus car ils ont compté mon short comme un pantalon. J’ai dû le faire remarquer alors que c’était écrit. Pour mon 1er room service, j’ai reçu les mauvais plats et l’un avait été oublié. La 2ème fois, l’employée m’encourage à payer en cash alors qu’elle n’a pas de machine à cartes, ni de cash pour faire la monnaie sur elle…me ramener la monnaie prendra 40 minutes. Et seulement parce que j’ai dû les relancer au téléphone, elle est arrivé 2 secondes après l’appel…Les chambres sont à rafraîchir + le staff peut mieux faire"

"Service was very good. The pick up at the airport was very efficient. All staff from Front Desk to Room Cleaners were very polite and helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. "

"This is a really nice hotel in the Commercial Business District. The best thing about here is the breakfast which has a really nice spread including an egg station, beef/chicken sausages, and pancakes. I also used the gym frequently where they provided towels and water. Everyone was always so friendly. While it is centrally located, it’s not the safest neighborhood at night - during the day it seemed fine (but you must always take care of your phone). We didn’t mind it because we were always out and when we came back to the hotel, we never left again each night."

"This hotel is located in the CBD. While the CBD area can be a bit busy at night, the hotel's security, service, and restaurants are top-notch. The rooms are also very spacious, and there's a gym and an outdoor swimming pool. The hotel boasts three dining options: a 24-hour bar and a buffet restaurant. It's also conveniently close to East Africa's largest mosque and a museum, both great for daytime visits. Plus, there are safe bars and restaurants right next to the hotel that you can check out during the day."

"This is a relatively new and luxurious hotel in Nairobi. Security is very strict, with security personnel questioning guests at the entrance, dogs checking for explosives, and even armed security personnel checking bags in the lobby. However, there's no need to worry about security; it's purely a government requirement. The staff at the hotel are very nice, from the front desk to the concierge and the restaurant. Everyone is friendly and willing to help with any questions. The hotel has comprehensive facilities, including table tennis, darts, a gym, and an outdoor swimming pool. The restaurant offers a rich breakfast and excellent coffee. The hotel's location isn't very central, so there are no restaurants nearby. You can either dine at the hotel or take an Uber to the nearby village market, which offers both food and shopping. It's very convenient."
