NNritaRindianiI had a really great stay at Imperium Kuantan. The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Sea view from the balcony was amazing. The facilities and swimming pool were perfect for relaxing.
The room also came with Netflix, which was a nice bonus for chilling at night. The check-in and check-out process was smooth, and the owner was very kind, responsive, and easy to communicate with. Everything went well throughout the stay. Overall, a very satisfying experience and I would definitely come again!

YyeanlingWe recently stayed at Hyatt Regency Kuantan as a family and had a really comfortable experience. We booked a room with twin beds, and it was surprisingly spacious—enough to accommodate three adults and one baby without feeling cramped. The hotel also provided a baby cot, which made traveling with our little one much easier and more convenient.
One of the highlights of our stay was the included breakfast. There was a good variety of options, and everything was fresh and satisfying—perfect for starting the day before heading out.
The location is another big plus. It’s very convenient, with many well-known restaurants just a few minutes away. Even the famous cendol from Alliance Bank is nearby, which was a nice treat to enjoy without having to travel far.
My husband and I also took advantage of the surroundings by going for a morning jog from the hotel to a nearby golf club. The route was pleasant and added a refreshing touch to our stay.
Overall, it’s a great choice for families looking for comfort, convenience, and a relaxing environment.

Llove holidayWe arrived at the hotel around 8:00 PM and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. The front desk staff were friendly, welcoming, and greeted us with a smile. The hotel itself looked pleasant, and the room was in good condition upon arrival. We also requested extra towels, which were delivered promptly without any issues.
However, there are several areas that need improvement. The toilet appeared to have a leakage issue, and the air-conditioning was not cold enough despite the temperature being set low. During breakfast, food items were not replenished quickly, and tables were not cleaned promptly, making it difficult to find a clean table. Guests also had to look for their own cutlery, including spoons, forks, and tissues. The breakfast selection was quite limited, although the food served was tasty.
On a positive note, the check-out process was quick and hassle-free. The hotel’s location is also convenient, being close to East Mall Kuantan.
As a hotel rated 5 stars, I expected a higher level of maintenance and service, especially in terms of room facilities and breakfast operations. While the stay was comfortable overall, there is definitely room for improvement to meet 5-star expectations.

MMeichan71This is not the first time staying. It was a good stay as before. Convenient to find restaurants, Cafes and convenient stores. All in walking distance. It's also a walking distance to the university hospital but will need an umbrella if walking there during the day.
Not far to go to the main town as well. Hotel has nice hallway and a good space for breakfast. Swimming pool is available too. Room is very spacious. Reception staff were all approachable and friendly.

AAnonymous UserEverythings just good except bed. Bedsheet seems like not change because i saw stain at many part of the sheets. Duvet cover have lipstick stain. I've experienced power shutdown last time in my room. Already call the receptionist, then they said will send technician in short time. I wait almost 5min. Then call receptionist again. 1min after that the technician just come and do his work.

YYoung KerI recently stayed here for a business trip with four colleagues. We booked five separate rooms, choosing this location based on its competitive pricing and convenient location. While the physical property itself is impressive, the management process left a lot to be desired.
The Good: Comfort & Space
Rooms: The rooms are genuinely clean, neat, and very spacious. For the price point, the value of the actual living space is excellent.
Parking: Finding parking was easy and secure, which was a major plus for our group as we had our own vehicles.
Location: Perfectly situated for getting around Kuantan efficiently.
The Bad: Maintenance & Missing Basics
The property feels slightly neglected in terms of upkeep. In my specific room:
The shower head holder was loose, making it difficult to use.
There were no floor mats provided, which is a basic necessity to avoid tracking water across the room after a shower.
The Ugly: Management & Customer Service
This is where the experience fell short. The administrative side of this stay was disorganized and stressful:
Automated Communication: Their chat system is powered by an AI that provides ”canned” answers. It failed to address any of our specific questions, making communication feel like a dead end.
Check-in Delays: We weren't sent the check-in passwords on time. We had to track down a separate person-in-charge just to get access to our rooms late in the day.
Pricing Inconsistencies: The documentation stated a RM50 deposit per room, but we were charged RM60. While the amount is small, the inconsistency feels unprofessional and creates a lack of trust.
Final Verdict: If you value space and price above all else, this is a solid choice. However, be prepared to fight for your check-in details and deal with a non-responsive service team. I hope management fixes their communication flow and updates their facilities soon.

GGuest UserVery difficult to answer the phone calling from reception until we need come to hotel to inform them to do housekeeping because morning when we go out time that is no one in reception counter to inform to do room service . The contact person they leave at counter no answer too.
Remarks : please buy the cleaning service card and hang on the door so they which room to do housekeeping.

KKyrol88The location is strategic, but overall I can only give 3 out of 5 stars because the cleanliness of the room needs improvement. The room, especially the bedsheets, was dusty. Additionally, the valet parking service was disappointing as there was no jockey available to assist with parking.
